With this dead cat bounce, where do we end up, 100k?
Think dollars.
The coin has been hovering around one dollar for quite some time now.
It's the new normal.

I don't think it will go that low, but anything is possible. I sure as hell wouldn't buy anything above .002 atm

Everything is a lot clearer in hindsight. When something drastic happens, people will say "SEE! Told ya so dumbasses!" ... Just sit back and enjoy the ride, if you like the features that Monero gives users (especially yourself), it shouldn't really matter that much to you.

Well that is the standard (probably over-used) bubble cycle chart. It's just a handy way to keep emotions in check when trading in the highly speculative pump and dump altcoin market.

Not wanting to buy is much different than going margin short on something. Of course I sold XMR already, it was way over priced. So in a way, I am short, just not on margin.

This level is an old support/resistance tested many times. I hope we can hold up here and start the climb back up. Why are people so sure this is just a dead cat bounce?

I know it's "under active development" for two years now I am just saying that you are postponing it's release to milk out more people out since it is YOUR prize development for last two years. Adding copy paste useless commits to create the illusion of a very active development is old news now and the reason for you and your colleagues not releasing it sooner is because there is nothing else coming after that. It is as if you guys came up and pretended to be active developers yet all you did was simple coding skills with copy pasting all the way down.

Also please comment how you've managed to miss the fact that RingCT, adaptive fee calculations, multisig transactions, and i2p integration will be happening? How is nothing coming after the GUI?

They dont care about actual technical development.  They just want marketing related progress that will bring in noobs that they can dump on.  If they dont see a prospect of incoming noobs to dump on higher, they will sell instead.

So you sold your coins and are predicting lower prices..

Ummmmmm.. yea. That's a very astute observation. Roll Eyes Why would anyone sell an asset if they thought the price was going up?

It is called talking your book. Upon selling your monero any further predictions you make are suspect as we know you stand to benefit if the price falls lower. Furthermore any valuation you suggest for monero is also worthless. Smiley

BTCWisdom seem broken. It is not broadcasting the prices correctly, since 3h it draws flat prices in all coins, inside the exchanges you get the real working graphics.

Well if that's the case, then all the bag holders in this thread prediction of any increased valuation is also worthless. I sold because I think the price is going down. You hold because you think it will go up. This is a speculation thread.

I feel like this is such a stupid question that's been asked more than anything about XMR over the last year and a half.  But the GUI ...  I see progress here - https://forum.getmonero.org/9/work-in-progress/2476/the-official-qt-gui-project

Are the numbers at the side of each week the number of hours the dev has worked? (17.5 of estimated 280 hours)  Am I reading this correctly?

No :-P More concise summary here:
