OASIS Market just did an exit scam! (for the ones who not already know)

I really dont understand those people.  From what i was reading last weeks they were like close to rank.5 darkmarket. They just dump all that and cash out?
Probably i dont know much of darkmarkets and there is most likely some danger running them so people can just decide to move on.

i wouldnt be surprised if some black market going exit scam and blame everything on xmr exploit, whether it truly exist or not.

Meh, it's been down like 1 day and people on reddit don't seem to be freaking out just yet. This is nothing new, it happens every year. I don't even follow them for the most part, just read the DNMs subreddit from time to time to see the news about XMR if any. thanks

If you buy now you may lose 20% initially, by buying now you are of course likely to lose money initially (probaly 10...30 %) before the next pump, but is it worth saving 10...30% and risk not getting a gain of over 100%(possibly 500%). I hate tp gamble with money like this but this is the last chance of becoming an XMR whale.

Good Lord there is never a last chance. I would never take a long position expecting to have a 20% draw down I did not just fall off the turnip truck LOL. Place your bids very low where you do not expect them to be filled but get a nice surprise when they are. Smart money is bidding under .01 on Polo just take a look at the order book.

Mhmhmh, sorry i should maybe have written more. My point was not that the drop came from the OASIS Admins, moreover i want to say, that 1 of 2 Markets left the XMR Show.

I guess it was planned. Since Monero they didnt pay out vendors. With the "We accept Monero" they could get media attention and maybe some more order there. Instead of implementing a new Coin they just kept everything for themselves.

And I join the speculation of the MoneroOnlyMarket. I think this is also going to be a scam. If AlphaBay is also go for an exit scam, the coin will fall to something like 0.0050 again. I put already a buy order there

do you really think xmd will recover? i think it will down to where it started. back to 0.001 btc. i won't buy xmd. it is just too interesting not to watch what is going on with this coin.

The market changes and so my oppinion. The loss of one market is 1 of 2. Than a new market appears which is -again in my oppinion a scam - which will also not help the coin.

And my main concern is that AB is going to close. And since every market left the show somewhen its something everyone should consider. It would be negligent to conceal such a fact. But ofc, keep on going on a hype. I have no problem to say, when i change my oppinion about something.

Thats why I intentionally underlined the if Sure it is speculation (Monero Speculation Thread). But no market was there forever. Every market -except Agora/SR1- did an exit scam. When I handle half a million of Euros in cryptos I maybe pay just a bit more attention to such speculations than others. 25% loss is nothing I like

Blödsinn, es gibt diese spezielle Monero Unfreundlichkeit nicht, im Gegenteil wenn man keinen BS postet ( was in nem Spec Thread wohl häufiger vorkommt ) sondern Hilfe brauch wird hier einem noch eher geholfen. Und Geld verloren glaube ich kaum er ist Supporter der 1. Stunde.

english  tl;dr ->  ... the monero community is not rude ( only if there is smell of BS )  but helpful when help is needed.

Also you should not call it 1 of 2 N-Rg ... if you are talking of markets maybe you should consider it in % ... so if the 10% market closes still 90% remain not 50%. Also keep in mind the DNM are just speculative bonus atm... NO OTHER COIN even has that bonus and some are even valued higher. So things like that may cause panic pricewise ... but as long as the fundamentals are strong who cares... 1 XMR = 1 XMR and that should be the end-goal of any crypto-coin... otherwise you all automaticly agree the whole markets are just get rich quick schemes.

So I have lost money because I am tired of lazy one liner trolls which no base in logic or reality? Another example of impeccable deduction skills. For your info I'm so far up it's not even funny.

There is no discussing that the price is down, it's a fact. The usual reason for price movements in crypto are whales deciding which way it's gotta go. This is speculation on my part, obviously.

The announcement back in August was just the event that released the pent up pressure. I don't think anyone can say with a straight face that XMR was not undervalued at this point, whether you have a soft spot for the project or not.

What is not a fact until proof to the contrary is a) that Oasis pulled an exit scam (which is possible, probable even but not a fact) and b) even less that their hodlings / alleged dumpings at this point have any influence on the 10 k BTC plus daily volume!
It might be another one of those news that was taken advantage of to push and pull the price where it's wanted.

And as for the unfriendliness...yeah I become unfriendly when trolls put in no effort whatsoever, adding absolutely nothing of value, not even a creative, entertaining insult. A signature account just makes it worse. This forum would be so much better without paid signatures but ok, that's how they chose to roll and is also offtopic.

Another logicfail to attribute that to the whole community which, aside from a few rotten individuals like me, is exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Price will plummet, but id say new markets will open up, i guess no market in their clear mind would miss out on that XMR Volume Polo had ( if you included exchanges too in your markets ). Markets exciting may be a worry to the price... but in the end that is not problem of the "asset" or as what you want to see your monero speculation, because fundamentals for it did not change... but the problem/issue of the market that exited. People really need to differ.
