Personally speaking I found the ability to take a photo of the password phrase essential.

Obviously, that's all very well but you have to see it. If all that is presented is a username and pin, then some users will interpret that as I did, to suggest that the wallet is on the phone and accessible with pin. I had in mind to backup the wallet; I did not have in mind that I would not be able to access it again.

What was the price in ico? I cannot find that anywhere ... ?

The price was staggered over the ICO. Very generally speaking the price now for most ICO buyers is around 10-30% down on the ICO depending on when you bought, for the last buyers we are nearly 50% down, plus you got to factor in the price of BTC then and now. Generally speaking we are in fire sale territory. I wish I saved my BTC and bought now cause I personally don't think the price will go lower from where it is now.

Finally iOS is out fck yea, so thats the good news.

Some points.

- I can only invite friends from my contact list and not through other social media which Android does offer, i want to invite through whatsapp but can't, although 1 cool thing is when i select users from contact list it shows me how many $ i make after selecting users.

- My username doesn't show up on my brothers Android in contacts list, but only shows my phone number, but my username does show in notification window when he receives a message.

- "Last seen 6 minutes ago" under the username in chat is too dark, should be lighter.

- In wallet i can't see how much each Gems/BTC is worth and it's not clear that there is also a Bitcoin wallet, users don't know they need to tap to change to Bitcoin, in Android it shows Gems and BTC next to each other so users know they should swipe to right to access the Bitcoin wallet.

Good thing is there is unlimited amount of choice for gifs and Gems transactions within the app work flawlessly.

What should be added is that i want to see my unique referral link in settings, so that i can share it. Also the amount of fees should be made clear for Gems and BTC.

Overall the first iOS release is great, well done guys.

I haven't tried it yet but going on past bugs and early reports of bugs I got to ask the question why do so many bugs turn up between competeing an app and sending it to the store. I don't want to be a dick but why are there so many? Why are they not seen before a version is released. I know bugs are part of any development but many of the bugs are seen after a minute or two, it's not like they are really hard to see. Like I said I'm not trying to be a dick I just want to understand the process where this occurs when you got so many smart programmers I assume staring at this app 24/7.

The app is free, nowhere does it says you have to pay to download it. Ask him how he got to that conclusion, does it say anywhere?

I haven't really experienced bugs, but some things missing which should be added which i mentioned. Maybe others find the bugs and will mention them.

Okay.. When inviting friends with an iPhone through WhatsApp at least, the prefab referrer link in the auto message redirected my friend to the Google Play Store instead of the Apple Appstore. Not aware this was a bad redirectshe continued and eventually ended up having to buy something for whatever page she was on to work.

Would be nice if people who are invited through the app get a link to a download for their actual OS. Whats the referrer link to the apple version.. https://api.getgems.org/r/?r=daruhshie doesn't work.

How do you invite friends with the iPhone through whatsapp?

My friend had the same issue, i sent him an invite and the referral link didn't work properly, he uses Telegram. So that must be a bug.

iOS baby, while i have Android i'm happy iOS is here. Team delivered, from what i see the app needs some fine tuning then we will be set for marketing. I would suggest not to go for it just yet before some bugs has been fixed.

Just downloaded IOS version. Failed once on install saying to check my internet connection (my internet connection is fine). It went through on the second attempt. Next It stalled on filling out my details, allow gems to access contacts etc with Unknown Error msg. Stuck. I wont be referring anyone atmo as they would just give up and never try it again.

EDIT. got it working now after doing a few loops of code sent to phone

EDIT2:  referred  to the wife's phone and had the exact same issues issues + I didnt get the referral acknowledgement on my phone

I am very happy that the iOS release is out, but for the moment I will not invite anyone as well. This gives currently so many problems, that people become demotivated and lose interest. Once it is working like a charm, I will start inviting like if there is no tomorrow.

Before releasing the iOS we updated the referral mechanism to a 3rd party service for supporting cross platform compatibility. Old Android versions generates an old link. The new Android version has been uploaded to google play already and fixes this issue. It will be live on google play shortly.

The registration problem is with Telegram servers (they recently did an update), we have contacted them about it.

I really wish the app was compatible with older versions of iOS. There's no chance I'm updating and losing my jailbreak.

I know these things are coming in the future, but for now there are still a few reasons. It hasn't been made open source yet, has it? That's fairly important from the point of view of security and being assured that your private keys are truly private. Further, I'm still waiting on an app I can run on my desktop PC.

What version are you one? Can't you Jb all the way up to 8.1.2?
