I have a keyboard in New Group and New Broadcast List but no keyboard in New Secret Chat and Invite Friends. Is this right?

How do I send a message to someone? Like send a message to peled1986? Can someone post some steps?

For secret chat the other person must be online or else you don't see the chat box and it will say "waiting for other person to get online", then you will see the chatterbox if the other person is online, with invite friends there is no keyboard you just select the names you want to invite.

You send messages by just tapping on a username and you can message there.

I tried to search for your id but can't find it, is that the username you signed up with?

Hi,

I have recently purchased some GEMZ via BITtrex and would like to send them to my mobile (Android) wallet so that they are secure.

I have downloaded the app and set it up. (along with making multiple copies of my passphrase) However, the only way I can see to receive coins on the wallet is via a QR code. Is there a way to convert that QR code to a standard wallet address that I can C&P to BITtrex so I can sent those coins to my mobile wallet.

I have iOS but i can remember that it does have a standard wallet address aswell, i think you can copy your address by going to wallet, qr code, receive, then tap to copy. It copies the address.

Cheers. Sent a test of 1K coins to the mobile wallet and they have arrived. Took a while, but will now send the rest.

so I see there is a new iOS update out. does this fix a lot of the bugs associated with starting a new account?I'd like to send invites out to a larger audience but would like to make sure some of those bugs have been fixed. basically, is it ready for Showtime?

I want to test out what you said and when i tap on invite friends, the list doesn't show those who have Telegram so i can't invite them to GetGems, because they are not on the list to select. When i select 'contacts' i can see these friends with their profile picture, but most of them are inactive on Telegram since it says "last seen 2014". I can tap on them and send them a message but they don't respond.

EDIT, so i found a way to copy my unique url, i selected a friend and when you select someone to invite you see under the screen



Once you tap on it it brings you to the chatterbox to send the message



When you send it they get notified by SMS, you can also from here copy the unique url. But either way the unique url should be visible in settings so people can copy it in an easy way.

I'm waiting for my friend to test the link to see if it works but he is busy right now, will report if it works later.

So the invite links work, i send it to an Android phone it directs them to Google play and sent it to iOS and directs them to App store, but my username wasn't pre filled when my friend wanted to sign up so he had to manually type my username.

First time i received bitcoin through getgems, i'm really amazed guys it was literally instant with 0 fees, fcking wow. no bank can do that, this app should be worth atleast 100M.

So saw the update, seems a bit more stable.  It has not crashed yet so that's a good thing.

Send function still does not work for me.  I deposited to 1Dxtr4CpPBQFk6PWbunJ9fU1ELZj77Qh5v  The block explorer does not show any withdraws from original 4329.319661 deposit.  However I have attempted to send gems 6 times and the iPhone app reports balance at 3957.31958008 Gemz.  None of the transactions have showed up at their destinations.  Would appear the latest update does not help me, as I am still unable to send from Iphone. I am unclear how I could instruct the phone to clear orphaned spend attempts to return my balance to that with which the block explorer states.  My Gemz User name is mattei

Edit: After having posted this thread deposits are showing as pending now on my last two transactions to bittrex, sending gemz to Gemz address and to btc address.  Looks like transaction fee is 1 Gemz.  Does anybody know what the minimum amount one could send?  Also when I attempted to send btc using the btc wallet when I only had Gemz I get a message 'GetGemz' which doesn't look like a message that states 'Your attempt failed, you need to have btc balance'. or what ever the requirement is.  Also when I send Gemz to a btc address sent 100000 btc sat, only 5000 showed up.  Anybody know what the fees are sending gemz to a btc address are?

Well I did re-edit my comment to remove that point cause I realised their may be some kind of delay in the pipeline that wasn't on you. Which obviously there is about 15 min lag from you sending to it recording on the blockchain which I would be more inclined to put on sending from an exchange probably. I've waited hours, days for transactions from exchanges, generally you can't judge anything conclusive from it.

The txs on Poloniex said completed just mins after the withdraw but I'm not sure just what completed means. From using Poloniex with other coins, I find them to be very quick.

I did a second txs for 11 Gemz (10 after exchange fee) which showed up faster.

Sending Gemz to people you have for contacts is very nice, it's just like sending a text message. It will be very easy for people to send Gemz to each other.

Just a quick question ,  when I check my balance using receive address for gems through blockscan,it doesn't show any balance why is that ?

And I also have tried to send  some gems to my contact using iOS app, my friend still has not received one though my balance is now less .

Does this app require to have some btc in the wallet in order to send/receive gems?
