how come i have been making $1 a day for the past three days of joining kc pool with my s7 antminer and at ghash or antpool it was more like $5 a day, everybody said its better payouts here?
 

The number one thing you have to do is stop comparing daily payouts.  There is still too much variance in a smaller pool for that to do anything but drive you crazy.  Think in terms of monthly payouts or as Phil says "think 100 Blocks".  Mine for 30 days to see where you stand compared to what you are used to getting.  Then you will see the value in this pool.  This is what I've gotten for the month of April so far for each TH running for me (actual):

Avg BTC/Day/TH - 0.00355051 (~$1.54 @ $433.82)

So for your S7 at 4.7TH it should yield approximately $7.24 per day if it had been running for the same 16 day period (78 Blocks) here on Kano    Be patient and the payouts will come.

Agreed. I'm running three of them now, and that is also my figure (at today's spot). 5Nd is the part of this that requires patience.

Aside: funnily enough, I actually caused the double block
Of course you can't cause a block on purpose, only in hindsight.
I sent the 407467 payout, when I awoke in front of my PC, and the next work item, with that transaction, found a block less than a minute later.
I sent the next payout 407468, a few minutes later, and the next block, with the payout in it, was 10 minutes later.
I was sure happy about it at 2:15 in the morning

It's good to know that you had a hand in the double block...even in hindsight.  All I can say is...do it again!

SG network had issues.
Linode does it again ... as is happening more often lately.
There was a network problem between SG and the main pool node, however, my monitoring server is linode also and it was complaining about SG.
The network seemed to be losing most data from 02:41 until almost 02:55
I can login to all the nodes when these issues happen and run mtrs but there's something screwy about linode's network where, on occasion, it drops everything going to the USA for a few minutes.
All OK now.

My 1st failover after sg.kano.is, is the US node, stratum.kano.is, so no issues.
My 2nd failover is the MRR proxy for Asia back to the US, which I use for solo.ckpool because we dont have that sg.ckpool.org node anymore - works ok - in fact got a block in January via that setup.

Workers dashboard reports 40% invalids ! Do I cancel this rental or just keep it going?
I dont really want to cancel because i got it at a low rate....

I was showing that his $1 a day does not seam right. I only have one S7 and it is pointed here 24/7 so he should be seeing close to what I am.

I have nothing bad to about this pool it is great that is why my S7 is pointed here.

It does take time to receive your payment after the block has been found the block has to mature then the payment will be sent out.

You can look on the Block page and see how far along they are too mature.

roughly you look okay on the payouts for your speed in the corner.
blocks 407575,407574,407505,407480 were all paid to you on the same day.   

don't stress about the bluntness of the pool.   
when your intro started with kano.is pays less than this other pool, it started off a "is this guy for reals reaction."

just follow through on the chain of those trying to assist.   the rewards page is very important.
