When we passed 350% I upped my target rate to 107TH from 102TH.  It isn't petahashes but every little bit helps.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

If the next block confirms the payout then why are there 7 blocks pending?  Shouldn't one have confirmed the other by now?  They were sent at different times....

I've no idea what your question is.

A payout is confirmed by the block it is included in.
Until it is included in a block, it's not confirmed.

I will make a 2 hour run 1PH at NiceHash for 0.0030. Just waiting for BTC confirmation
Sigh, the DE network dropped again for a minute at 21:15 - but it's back up again.

I've no idea what your question is.

A payout is confirmed by the block it is included in.
Until it is included in a block, it's not confirmed.

I will translate it.

Lets say we make 5 blocks   in 3 hours.

the network confirms them in about 15 hours time.

Kano does a 5 block send in payment.  he pays a fee.  and he sets the kano.is  pool to always prioritize any  payments he sent.  this cuts costs of the fees.

here is a payment sent to me and to everyone in the pool

 https://blockchain.info/tx/84b418f69c42d2abe779a2a5febaf1ef31963d2f8f4937a7fc7dd6f3ba70159a

look how many bytes of info

Summary
Size   41225 (bytes) >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>This is  a shit load of bytes  this would need a huge fee
Received Time   2016-04-26 01:33:55
Included In Blocks   408929 ( 2016-04-26 01:33:55 + 0 minutes )
Confirmations   124 Confirmations
Relayed by IP    5.9.65.46 (whois)
Visualize   View Tree Chart

So rather then pay 0.02  in fees  he pays 0.002 in fees and the next block we hit confirms the payment.

Every once in a while a big set of payments like 7 blocks is sent.   So way more bytes   maybe 7 x 41225  to get any pool to confirm it

the fee would need to be high maybe a .1 fee

So waiting for us to confirm all the payments saves us coin.

Transactions pool (total: 57891)

Lot's of people are paying more for higher priority, so it depends on where the payment fees fall for Kano's payment.

Noticed, needed to reboot 39 miners.
Are you saying I should not put 1PH at Kano.de ?
Well, I don't expect to continue to have problems, but yeah 40 minutes after the problem was resolved, all got dropped for 1 minute.

A few days back linode was going on about DDoSes to their network causing problems, then this issue the support reply was it was out of their control ...
Though I will point out that linode support is full of morons who don't know what they are saying half the time.
I had one guy a month or so ago telling me to reboot the linode to fix an MTR problem not at the node ... ... ...

Anyone know a good server provider that doesn't way over charge for network costs?
AWS and Google network prices are ridiculously high ... about 50x what I pay on the main pool server.
The main pool server isn't linode of course and is very reliable, in a top of the line data center in Vegas.
Well, it's happening again.

Yep, you shouldn't be pointing it at the DE node.
I'll post again when it's all been OK for more than an hour.
