Yep as it says now on the web site, it's an orphan.
The timing was very close so it simply depended on if anyone saw our block first, but that was unlikely due to the timing.
On the relay it looked like this:
Code:
402608 [2016-03-14 11:44:11.678+00] 000000000000000003ef2537acbebc0ddee7edc3ad2d1b35cbb60bb233cb3777 recv'd, size 155573 with 449 bytes on the wire
402609 [2016-03-14 11:46:39.869+00] 0000000000000000026e9b11863382ef4116ef13812641db0b66a5753fe89dd2 sent, size 978152 with 618821 bytes on the wire
402609 [2016-03-14 11:46:40.521+00] 000000000000000001735f4071f16a28a2509b136d3f8d8bcde7c7adc67ecd34 recv'd, size 998180 with 654783 bytes on the wire
402609 [2016-03-14 11:46:41.406+00] 0000000000000000026e9b11863382ef4116ef13812641db0b66a5753fe89dd2 recv'd, size 978128 with 964560 bytes on the wire
402610 [2016-03-14 11:49:24.636+00] 000000000000000001a3715dbacbf02f7c51ccf4f63bbb90e759c41cf013f347 recv'd, size 183087 with 16710 bytes on the wire
402611 [2016-03-14 11:57:36.287+00] 000000000000000001ac21bd1005caa32f7e76eaf57a4e3c19e4a5bc641e8c1a recv'd, size 716056 with 2892 bytes on the wire
So basically we sent our block out on the relay (000026e9) but then got the other one (00001735) before ours came back
The relay is clearly running slow Tongue
We sent, then got the other one 652ms later, then finally got ours back 1537ms later.
i.e. they had sent it out on the relay just before we did, but we didn't get it from the relay until after we processed our block (which only took 240ms) and sent out our own

Says that most of the bicoin classic nodes have just been brought online and are straw men?

Is this affecting payments? I just realized nothing from kano.is in almost 60 hours. No rush, but still.

deep breath everyone the payments will come, perhaps in the interim go outside enjoy the day, the blockchain and forums will be here when you get back.

we all know kano is trustworthy and will send out the payments when he has a chance to sitdown and process them. im sure the data analysis, dropping nodes and coding updates has him pretty busy.

wolfen.  This is strange, we are both right!

When I go to http://bitmain.com and click on their link to buy a S7 batch 8, the price is 2.49 btc or $1,031.31

When I go to http://bitmaintech.com, as you said, the price there is $1.607 btc or $665 for a batch 12 to be shipped on March 19.

Is http://bitmain.com some type of scam site?  I wonder.  This is strange.  I'm not really in the market to buy a S7 right now.  I have
several and many are not running 100%.

Buyer beware.

Tom
hello,

Here's I just had on their site:
https://enshop.bitmain.com/productDetail.htm?pid=00020160307020331375uYwfnI5D06C6
Price:       665 USD  ( 1.613 BTC )

So I believe this is just fine.

I must be going nuts.  Actually that happened a long time ago.

When I go to https://enshop.bitmain.com/productDetail.htm?pid=000201511170341298180m44675v0613
I get:

ANTMINER S7 BATCH 8 - Shipped out within 5 days with full payment
ANTMINER S7 BATCH 8 - Shipped out within 5 days with full payment

Speed:    4.73TH/S

Weight:    4.5 kg

Price:       2.49 BTC
               ( 1030.76 USD )

I get there by simply going to http://bitmain.com and clicking on the big "Buy Now" link for the S7 at the top of the page.

Looks like it has the enshop proceeding the address, strange. secondly the are not selling the batch 8 on the main site.

Looks like i might have to change my lunch plans so that i can eat come chicken so we can have a few blocks fall into out laps.

We have lost close ~300 miners whats going on?

those last two long blocks were so far under PPS that my guess is most of the missing miners couldnt wait around, was to sad about it to work it out, I glanced yesterday evening and saw that for about 48 hrs we either lost all the work in about 11 shifts then 60% or 80% of the work for a whole load more shifts.

Hopefully our block finding will average itself out a bit, I had been renting about 50TH at low rates for about a month, but I gave up during those two blocks.

Back to the basic hardware 8TH again for a week or so while it slowly brings my funds back up.

The S7 batch currently on sale is batch 12.

That should be the only one with a green "buy" button.

Make sure you check the only batch on sale Smiley

Yeah once my rented rigs run out, I'm not sure what I will do if we get another 200%+ block.
With this core vs classic thing going on, I might just pause all my proxies and just rent my rigs out until stuff is clear.
