Block by tich13 with his 14th Kano block!  That is our 5th block of the day!  Cheesy

This block is loaded with .99454968 in fees!  Woohoo!

WOW... thats a big kahuna of fees!

I cannot imagine.... that there are pools out there that keep tx fees to themselves.... Huh

The 2nd tich13 block (419328) was hit on the Juvia shift...that lucky girl!  Cheesy

LOL... I hope she gives me some extra luck at solo.ckpool... I put aside some BTCs to try my luck before halving.

FYI this historic block activated the new CSV soft fork!

What is this "CSV soft fork" ?

The only fork I know currently is the other coin ... that shall not be named  Kiss

If I provided you good and useful info or just a smile to your day, consider sending me merit points to further validate this Bitcointalk account ~ useful for future account recovery...

Here is a good explanation:

I'm sure Kano is well aware...

For those looking at controlling frequency by ssh.
Not saying this might help but this link

https://github.com/ctubio/cgminer-bitmain-fan-controller/blob/master/README.md

He seems to have a way to adjust fan by ssh.
Bit of thought might be able to tweak by using a local script to do the remote work.

This one adjusts frequency based on miner temp.
Might be easier than setting by time maybe?

A bad time to run cold.   Some quick math.
we are 40ph

90% luck earns 86.4btc per day
100% luck earns 96.0btc per day
110% luck earns 105.6btc per day

there are 992 blocks until the ½ ing   that is 6.888 days

so our pool should earn 595 to 727 coins  before the ½ ing

or  24 to 29 blocks   .   lets track it from now on

sorry was having lunch  .   block number 19 >>>>> 429417  Grin Grin

Yeah it should be rare now for a payout to miss being in the next block due to me being asleep Smiley

I've written some (reasonably simple) scripts to queue the payout to be sent just after the network block appears when it's matured.
It's still a manual step to 'queue' that command, but I can do it any time in advance after I've processed the payout.

Processing the payouts is where I spend a lot of time checking everything is all OK, but the transaction itself is just there ready to be sent once it's been processed.

I was actually testing this over the past week and the first night I ran it, the PC with all the bitcoin and monitoring software on it failed due to both raid1 disks, that contain (only) the internet accessible bitcoind (no wallet), failing during the night Tongue
Fortunately it seems it was a controller+linux glitch, and upgrading linux and moving a SATA cable brought the 2 disks back to life Smiley

Glad it came out well...had something similar not long ago, and it also worked out OK due to finally getting more familiar with Linux.  Cool

To infinity and beyond...on two 741s and one of only 3...nope, make that 4...full nodes in Hawaii...on <30A. (I have other gear on the Hoth ice planet)

Block by thedreamer with his 19th Kano block!  We are only 3.5 hours into the new day and we have 3 blocks already!   Cheesy Cheesy

Along with the fantastic block performance this month here at Kano I got some great news today...my bad S9 hashboard has been repaired and it has been happily hashing away along with the other two boards for the past 3.5 hours.  It is so sweet to see this S9 Batch 3 hashing right at spec with 12.9THs and a HW error rate of only 0.0004%!  The temps are perfect at 57/89 out in Toomim-land!  Life is good!  Grin

Of course it's random luck, but yeah looks like anyone who jumped ship coz of the bad few days, lost out doing that Smiley

You can't predict when bad or good luck will happen, or change, and the 5Nd also ensures that.
Worse still, if you are mining on some other pool with a short N in their payout, a large short hash rate can more easily get no return.

I just published my app on google play store. It monitors CK pool performance. You can set up multiple accounts and break down your stats by miners.
You can also set up alerts for individual miners if their hash rates drop.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tiongworks.drpool&hl=en

Give it a try! Feedback is welcomed! Smiley

Thanks!  I was hoping for an update to the android version with alerts for individual miners.  I'll check it out.

Was 2 quick network blocks before it, only 29 seconds after the block change, so a small one.

I was trying to decide between sending it to China for warranty repair or to Denver for non-warranty repair so I asked Jonathan Toomim to pull the board and check for burn marks.  If there were any I was going to just have him send it to Denver and pay for the repair.  When he pulled the board, he immediately saw a loose component that actually fell off the board into his hand.  It was a pair of cold solder joints that were just not done correctly.  I decided to take a chance and gave Jonathan permission to solder it back on; a couple of minutes later and the board was back in business.  It's been running perfectly for about 16 hours now.
