My power is now out. But my phone works. I feel for ya...that happens a lot here. I've got more invested in backup power and line conditioning than I do in miners.
|
To infinity and beyond...on two 741s and one of only 3...nope, make that 4...full nodes in Hawaii...on <30A. (I have other gear on the Hoth ice planet)

You know you're getting old when you have a double Glenlivet 18 to celebrate figuring out how to get the launcher on the bottom of the screen in 16.04...when you just did it a couple of months ago... Ha! I feel your pain. Over 60 now & sometimes the brain is sharp and sometimes serious synaptic dysfunction. Like your choice of scotch. Give "The Balvenie Doublewood" a try sometime. Only 12 yrs old, but very, very smooth. Happy mining!

LOL...Xena, warrior princess should be doing a triple at least, ha ha My wife ask me why there is a bottle of Hibiki in my mini study fridge... so I told her same story. This stubborn block we just got sure reminds me of the start of block parties! Let them be 7-8-11 blocks parties.... we had an 11-block Wednesday not so many weeks ago!

I think Kano was just pointing out that in 74s the FUPool only collected 295kB for their block but the Kano CKPool collected 986kB in only 28 seconds for the block after that. The CKPool software is more efficient...

Now for the expanding world of kano.is nodes ...
I've added another new node nl.kano.is in amsterdam, that anyone can mine to
This is somewhat of an attempt at a replacement for the DK node, but both will run in parallel for a short while. If I do (probably) end up shutting down the DK node, I'll simply point DK to NL
DK has been a little unreliable, and one of the initial things that the provider said about upgrading their out of date KVM software, they still haven't done, so the NL node is a better performer than the DK node.
If anyone tries it out and compares the DK and NL nodes from wherever they, let me know how it fares for you.

Good job Kano folks! Nice to have my morning coffee and see a small plethora of blocks to start another long, hot summer day! Our hash rate has gone up fairly significantly too. It Should be a good mining day! (Also looks like BTC price is trying to move up a few. Hope that continues. )
