Actually, wm, it was understandable. I got it...only just now got to read it. Sonny (clgrissom) took care of you, though. Cool! Mine on...

To infinity and beyond...on two 741s and one of only 3...nope, make that 4...full nodes in Hawaii...on <30A. (I have other gear on the Hoth ice planet)

I've been asleep on the couch most of the day feeling crappy. In hindsight, it was a dumb question. Since I log each block payment from the Payments page, it says right there in black and gray, the block #, the payout address, and the amount. With a clear head, I would know better. I wasn't thinking clearly when I asked the question right after waking up. (I think my fever broke sometime during the night as I woke up soaking wet. Feeling somewhat better now.) I was hoping for another block to finish the day. Unfortunately not. May the blocks come fast and furious as they did last weekend!

Hi all
I am in for some bounty to have cgminer on s9s. i do not think bitmain has anything intentional in the code to make the s9 function incorrectly but obviously we know which pools would receive primary testing and where serious batches are mining right now.
If enough people are serious we can put out a bounty. If we have enough maybe Kano knows someone we could trust to do it and we could pay Kano to vet it.

Transaction fees go to the pools and the pools decide to pay them to the miners. Anything else, including off-chain solutions are stealing and not the way Bitcoin was intended to function. Make the block size set by the pool. Pool = miners and they get the choice.

Requires time and effort, that I'd prefer spent on the pool. Also requires an S9 that I don't want (and as I mentioned, was offered one by bitmain and rejected the offer)
Most people would gain little from the changes, and it is effectively helping bitmain continue what they do also. I've done this for the S1, S2, S3 and still all the code fixes are not in any bitmain version.
Hopefully the next Avalon is out soon ... they use master cgminer and submit the code changes and thus have all our changes from our master git. Avalon has none of this crap with a screwed up API, missing block information, missing best shares, hidden rejects and hardware errors, etc, and who knows what else in the latest closed source version.

Do you have some information about Avalon releasing new hardware? It would be nice to hear some news, if you can say something..

While I am for the getting cgminer onto current miner platform - its still a short term solution. This whole thing reminds me of the browser wars. In the long term, a formidable alternative is desired. I hope Avalon can deliver a better product soon and break the monopoly. Its good for the mining community. Its good for competition, innovation and keep Bitmain on their toes. I for one, wouldn't want to keep all my eggs in one basket. I would prefer to see a dual vendor strategy.

If I were some wild conspiracy nut, I might think that as more S9's are pointed at our pool, that our luck has gone sour. But since I'm not, I can just blame it on my fever returning and I'm delirious.... and I'm just talking out of my a$$. Oops, that's a chocolate turkey cake.... Fever's getting higher.

I made a Poll in the Miner software section. I offered 100 usd in that poll. I am also willing to escrow the coins at zero charge.

I'll do a CKDB restart in about half an hour - at about 20:15 UTC 10:15 UTC As usual for a CKDB restart, no miners will be affected. Just the web site/API will show lotsa "?" for about 10 minutes. It's just a minor update that's actually been on the server for a while, but done since the last restart, so it's not using the change yet. It's mainly one commit to show me extra information in the ckdb log file. I'll post here again once it's done. Edit: yeah typo - that's 10:15 UTC CKDB restart complete. No problems. Did end up being an extra long restart coz the shift finished 37 seconds before the hour, rather than my guess of just after the hour (so it reloaded an extra hour of data) Reload was from 10:16:27 UTC to 10:33:33 UTC (~17 minutes)

Hello, i'm new to mining and looking that kano.is is the best pool around the other pool based on the review. I'm still in the learning phase and finally got myself one S5 Antminer. I already mined for about 1 day, and already make wallet, and already change the wallet for payout to my wallet, the rewards for me already showed up, but my bitcoin balance still not have any change. Is that because of the block is not 'mature' yet? and can somebody explain what is the 'mature' block means? or am i missed when the 5nd phase already over? i start around 11:AM yesterday, and now my clock showed 5:43 PM. Thank you for your time
