Thanks for the super fast reply, I will just ignore them until I get my head around doing firmware upgrades, now that looks like a challenge from all I have read. Anyway, again, thanks for super fast reply.

My S3 firmware upgrade isn't actually a firmware upgrade, just a change to whatever firmware you are running (though should be latest)
So it can't brick it Smiley
The readme says the steps.

Had a read, but getting tired now and need sleep after doing all nighter.

Does your firmware upgrade fix the issue that cause below when logging in through luci ?

/usr/lib/lua/luci/dispatcher.lua:448: Failed to execute function dispatcher target for entry '/'.

I will have a read up later on ssh and putty and see if I can get back into my S3, for now it appears to be hashing quite well.

Hopefully I get onto the acclaim page soon then heading to the top.

The blocks are coming in nicely now.  Smiley

man this feast or famine crap sucks.

Well the famine part does anyway.  Smiley

It sucks only if you evaluate performance on a daily basis.  If you evaluate the pool performance on a longer term (like monthly or quarterly) then the variance is no big deal and this pool cannot be beat.  Smiley

EDIT:  The biggest issue for me is now that the halving has taken place can I still pay my operating costs and have anything left over.  It doesn't matter how much better this pool is over all others, if I can't cover my costs then it is over for me.  I have until October to decide. Sad

I sure hope the math works out for you, Carl. Not only for your profits, but my my selfish reasons, because I can't imagine Kano pool without you here announcing our blocks. You're like the "play by play" announcer for the baseball game. You're half the fun of mining here  Smiley

Alright, well I started mining on Kano in late April with 150 TH and have ramped up to almost 300 TH.

Couldn't be happier - the pool is awesome - but I want to do my part and find a block!!  According to my math, I'm more than overdue...

What do I need to sacrifice in order to get on the acclaim board?

That *is* awesome - it's weird - I had this feeling that as soon as I talked about it on the forum...  I'm not superstitious at all, but that's a bit uncanny - glad to see it is in good company with a lot of other blocks - let's keep 'em coming!
