Does anyone have a broken S7 they want to sell me so i can attempt to fix one i have with 2x burnt hash boards?
The (off brand) power supply wires burned up and melted the connection to the hash boards.
I would like to attempt to fix it...
are the hash boards working? you can replace the power pins and plastic connector. Takes a bit of work, but can be done. There was a video on youtube that showed how to do it for an S9. I found it, its in russian though... Pictures are worth more than words anyways https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=13F54VA3WdM

Probably DE (de.kano.is) Then I'd make the first backup pool nl.kano.is or jp.kano.is

WTF, they didn't add any transactions? and got 2, well 3 so quick.. Yeah they've been doing it for a long time. Most pools do (including Slush, P2Pool, Bitminter and Eligius) We don't. See my sig There's 2 reasons: 1) SPV/SPY mining 2) Supposed faster work change (but they're not faster) Edit: I also wrote a bit of an explanation about it long ago: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1085800.msg11850833#msg11850833Edit2: I think this one might be accurate back then about empty block counts: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1085800.msg11611896#msg11611896

I'm gonna take a break. I have sat at this desk for nearly 200 hours, watching the counter since the last block. I need to go get some sleep, take a shower, throw out the pizza boxes, recycle the 57 coke cans, and change my socks. Not necessarily in that order.....

OMG, seriously? That is either really sad or incredibly funny. Mine On, the Blocks come when you least expect them. This is a patience game, that pays well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ErvgV4P6Fzc

very rough numbers....
a certain larger pool which hits blocks on a regular basis is about 60 times larger than Kano. that particular pool finds around 300 block per month.
so assuming that luck and probability are evenly distributed, we can expect, at current conditions, to get 5 or 6 blocks a month to be at par with that particular pool, actually slightly better, taken into account the lower fees.
so with that perspective in mind, we are doing just fine, no need to panic.........
