VANILLACOIN--

After reading the buzz posts on VanillaCoin (VNL), I downloaded and set up tpruvot's CCminer v1.7.2.  With my EVGA GTX 960 SC, I get the standard 1.7GH/s on SuprNova's VNL pool.  In the last hour I've earned over 1 VNL, mining with just the single card.  I am at a 99.42% acceptance rate with more than 600 accepts.

I hope that release #6 of sp_s Private Miner is optimized, I may set some of my larger rigs on the coin.  It is trending up on the markets.       --scryptr

CRYPTOMINING-BLOG.COM--

There are 2 posts in the last 2 days regarding VanillaCoin.  There is one post from the 27th of January with a link to several mining packages, including tpruvot's 1.7.2:

http://cryptomining-blog.com/wp-content/download/vanillacoin-blake256-miners-windows.zip

and one post, also from the 27th of January, with sp_' s release dot 78:

http://cryptomining-blog.com/wp-content/download/ccminer-1.5.78-git-spmod-vanillacoin.zip

I am probably going to try sp_ 's version later today.       --scryptr

EDIT:  I tried sp_ 's release dot 78 as packaged by CryptoMining-Blog.com.  It hashed at roughly the same speed as tpruvot's release, but the pool reported a much lower hash rate.  There were no error messages, but the pool was reporting less than 1/2 the hash rate as on my console.  I switched back to tpruvot's version for the moment.  I'll look at Private Miner #6 when I get it.

SuprNova pool has most of the VanillaCoin network hash rate to itself for the moment, BTW.       --scryptr

this is my .bat file
ccminer.exe -a vanilla -o stratum+tcp://vnl.suprnova.cc:1118 -u xxxx -p x -i 25 -s 30
I am getting These. Is it ok ?
Or how should I optimize the .bat ?

Is suprnova pool  pps  or  per block? plz    thx
all suprnova pools are prop
Proportional (Prop) - The block reward is distributed among miners in proportion to the number of shares they submitted in a round. The expected reward per share depends on the number of shares already submitted in the round.
@sp thanks for inform us..

Vanilla difficulty is swinging like crazy. Profit calculations based on current difficulty are very inaccurate.

SHAGGY DOG JOKE--

This might not be understood by those from outside the USA:

"This dog is not so shaggy."

--scryptr

EDIT:  My GTX 960 made about 50 cents (one-half US Dollar) per 24 hour day at NiceHash while auto-switching with the NiceHash Miner.  It has been less than 12 hours since I started mining VanillaCoin on SuprNova pool, and I have mined 6 VanillaCoins.  Two of them are now confirmed.

I have mined about 38 cents (total) worth of VanillaCoin, and a shade over 12 cents of the total is already confirmed.  I am using Bittrex market rates.

I have received about 2750 accepts at 99.54% acceptance rate using tpruvot's CCminer v1.7.2.  I estimate about 9 hours miniing time since start-up.  The card is on a Win 7 x64 system.       --scryptr

My 2 and 3 card 750 ti rigs are doing great with vanilla....100% accepts.

But my 6 card 750ti is 88%.

Here is my 2 card 750ti on another rig with 2 980ti.

EDIT: I'm trying different scan times but I don't know if that has anything to do with helping the rejects.

Using tpruvot's CCminer v1.5.78 for vanilla coin

Any help please.

Thx

EDIT: Problem solved  Smiley
1 to 3 750 ti's per  instance.
On higher end cards one instance per card....... getting 100% accepts.
Efficiency at suprnova pool 100%

guys... anyone know please help.

how big is ether blockchain? i connect with geth --rpc and it's been 5 days now sill not finish. the size of ethereum folder in \local\ethereum about 5.6 GB. and the synchronization is bad, many times just hang and need to restart the command again in new cmd.

and...

can't we just mining in pool (example eth.pool) and using deposit address from trading site? (for example Poloniex) so i don't have to made those geth and stuff again.

thanks.

I tried to sync geth yesterday and at first it I stopped it after about 6 hours of syncing and barely getting anywhere then I find that there's the --fast option which is basically an online bootstrap kind of syncing as far as I understand it and it took me like 20 minutes to finish from 0. It also only takes up 800 MB for me fully synced and it's working flawlessly.

i solved the problem. i'm using new released Ethereum-Wallet-win64-0-3-9 which is make my life easier million times. it show the progress how many block we sync, and GUI just like regular coin wallet. great tools.

mining with my 970 in windows 7 @ 18 mH/s. i'm pretty happy with the result Cheesy

You should try pushing the memory up by 500 Mhz.

This wallet is awesome.
