Anyone more knowledgeable than me know what the pre-trial motions might consist of? I'm guessing a motion to dismiss is coming. I also wonder if Homero is compelled to show up yet? Where is the SEC case at also? Maybe they are just waiting to sink their teeth in after this goes thru?

Pre trial motions are meetings that are made before the actual trial. After the preliminary hearing and before a trial, the prosecutor and the defense team appear before the criminal court judge and make pretrial motions. These motions can be for varied reasons like certain evidence should be kept out of the trial or that certain persons must or cannot testify, or that the case should be dismissed altogether etc... These pretrial meetings are generally attended by the plaintiff, defendant, the judge, the lawyers, and sometimes other parties. Pretrial hearings aim to resolve some of the legal issues before the trial begins. Some time cases are solved and agreements found between parties during pretrial meetings.

They'll argue over minutiae & set a trial date. Addendum: I just read this snippet in an otherwise TLDR post by @Vlad2Vlad in the Cryptsy Scam thread, which I though should be cited here. He wrote: And no, garza was not an obvious scammer from day one. I thought he was just irresponsible and a power tripper. He had legit backers and was involved with legit exchanges and sponsoring big legit events. I forgot about all the Bitcoin & Mining Conventions he/GAWMiners sponsored. The exchanges were complicit, that is true -- they failed to do due diligence at minimum. He clearly flaunted Cantor Fitz via "Uncle Stu" Fraser. That all really added up in the minds of victimized customers. Good stuff for the litigants.

He WAS an obvious scammer because he claimed to be mining altcoins and refused to show proof on the blockchain. Any shithead like vlad and the ion idiots that refuses to admit that now is doomed to lose their money over and over again because they are too stupid to have it.

To be fair, @PHILDO, I believe they pre-mined about 20 million of the 21 million coins before anyone else could view their blockchain.

Remember when the moron tweeted his password? I still laugh at that wish i had the picture of it still. I mean you have to click login then click or tab to the fields to get to the password.. how do you tweet it by accident? Or the time he shared his mailbox with the world through that google groups thing on public. He shouldn't be allowed near a computer seriously. Maybe we should take this time to reminisce on our favorite garza moments... garza... this is your life

Alrighty then! Always loved this Freak Show Pic: Garza (R) & Bitcoinist's own Scott Fargo / ManeBjorn / -- formerly of CCN / CryptoCoin News, before he conspired & colluded with Garza & lost ALL credibility. Some of the crypto press added to the Paycoin illusion, especially Fargo at CCN.

I forgot about Paul Revere he was such a legend and his pics captured the moment exactly.
Kinda funny how people leave due to threats. The threats in bitcoin land are funny. I don't think there has been an actual case of a follow through other than that poor animal sent in the mail which i hope was dead to begin with.
Not sure why people are scared.... you think someone is honestly going to track you down and then jump a plane or get a friend half a planet away to get you because of a forum post...
