@TheMage - just say no.  He's only trying to shift the focus away from X.  No reason to take his pepsi challenge; issue your own.

Re: https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/josh-garza-gaw-miners-paycoin-challenges-litecoin-association-director-public-debate/

Wouldn't that be similar to Garza refusing to do the Reddit AMA and wouldn't that just fuel the fire?

As long as the debate is not scripted, moderated, or otherwise controlled by GAW it could be good. Just listen to some of GAW's own Q&As, Garza stutters even on things he should know best of all, hashlets, hashstakers, and other tamagochis. Or read his CoinBrief interview. A few inconvenient questions and we'll see what's "bad for our industry".

Its different.  He wants to turn the tables and have a debate about the boycott.  Why give any ground?  He has the burden to prove RE: legitimacy of his business - that should be the focus of the debate, not whether calling for boycotts is bad for their business.

In other words: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4F4qzPbcFiA

Also, this debate topic forces The Mage to debate against Vorhees and others who were against the call for the boycott - its splits the BTC base and builds allies for gaw.  Clever.  Don't fall for it.

Coinswap has $750 daily volume outside of xpy, that's $7.50 commission for the whole site.  Nobody uses it.

Wait, what? It's still collecting commission?

Dear Fellow Industry Leaders,

Many of you charge your customers needless fees.

Bottom line, you need better models.

You need to innovate and figure out how to add real value, not just how to take advantage of the fact that "no one else" is doing what you're doing.

So I am going to help you.........We will continue buying companies in every sector of this industry.

Once I have acquired the company, I will make their service free to use.

That's it.

Think of how hard it's going to be to compete with free.

It's time to start innovating. I have been at this for a while.

Voorhees was talking about the Miami conference, right? It's not the same as protesting against coin/exchange conflict of interest. There are some interesting questions to be raised here, given the recent discoveries in Paycoin source code etc. Anyway, it's for Andrew to decide, I didn't mean to make it sound like I know what's best here.

Let's just wait and see if Josh shows up in Miami and hangs himself first. I see NO possible way he can defend himself and GAW and his own bumbling bullshit shall serve as his, hopefully final, downfall. He can't string along 2 coherent sentences when he has all the time in the world to construct them and type them. All he is used to dealing with is his own drones which both he and his mods have programmed. If he's not a complete sociopath he may very well have a breakdown right there on stage when confronted by the real world.

You are correct RE: Vorhees - I misspoke.  Thanks for the heads up.

Definitely for Andrew to decide, and I don't know what's best either.  Just idea-testing for now.

Last year I discovered GAWMiners and 6 months ago I became a writer for the WIKI on HashTalk.

I volunteered to edit Josh's posts, to improve GAW Miners' public image.

Now that the crud has hit the fan in Crypto-currency in general, and with Paybase, specifically, I find myself falsely accused of all kinds of sins, along with Josh...and also lumped in with the scammers at Hashie...

I am TEAM GAW all the way, so I am going to insist that Josh edit his announcements before he posts them from now on. I don't want anyone saying that anyone changed or deleted any more announcements.

I am doing this in everybody's best interest.

You can find me in the Wiki when I'm not teaching.

It was bloody unbelievable.

Josh was having one of his cult meetings and I was getting

tired of all those withdrawal delays so I asked if they could

take a little time off their lovefests to tend to basic customer

issues. And that was the end of my posting experience at that

forum. I have no idea which in-one-ear-straight-out-the-other

personality they used there did the purging  Grin

1. Homero wants to debate why Andrew thinks it is a scam. Andrew I fear is the least informed or up to date on that aspect out of everyone. Therefore Homero believes he can run circles around him and convince him that there is nothing wrong.

2. Solution: if even interested to discuss this directly with Homero, suggest that you will be pleased to "debate" him immediately after the Q&A session in Miami, in the same room with everyone there. Let us see if Homero is able to run through that gauntlet and then still be interested in continuing keeping up his charade with Andrew.

I don't think Garza is going to have all that much trouble in the Q&A. He doesn't have to answer questions, just obfuscate the way politicians do when they get caught breaking promises.

Solution:

"Josh Garza has made numerous promises, but so far has only delivered a cloned alt coin with not a single one of the key features he advertised to entice investors. If he wants to prove that he is doing business honestly we don't need a debate. He just needs to deliver on those promises."
