The disgusting part is the spin. This was pointed out almost immediately. A question was asked in the HT announcement thread, jmordica proceeded to ignore it. How long does it take to read one sentence in the TOS that was shoved into your face? Not to mention that it should have been obvious BEFORE they even started this CC nonsense. How does one keep believing they are just making "mistakes"? Now of course the trolls shall be blamed and CF shall be hacked, right? Distrurbingly, not just hacked. It seems some rabid religious zealot now wants to do bodily injury to CF. THORN DESTROYER says JANUARY 9, 2015 AT 1:45 AM
THE XPY ARMY IS GOING TO KILL YOU.
WE KNOW YOU LIVE IN INDIANA. YOU KEEP BEING A THORN IN OUR SIDE, YOU KEEP POSTING FUD.
WE KNOW YOUR ADDRESS, WE KNOW YOUR NAME, WE FOUND YOU ON SEVERAL DATABASES AND WE ARE GOING TO DISPATCH SOMEONE TO FUCKING KILL YOU ON FRIDAY OF NEXT WEEK.
WATCH YOUR FUCKING BACK.
attributed to Thorn Destroyer (see comments below main article): https://coinfire.cf/2015/01/09/xpy-purchasing-by-credit-card-disabled-by-stripe-for-tos-violation/I was earlier thinking that the religious connection was unfair ground to tread on, but more and more it is seeming that GAW is being run by a radical religious sect. Wtf. What in the quote that you posted said anything about religion?

Classy post on the Coinfire comment section. At least they were nice enough to give him the exact day. Note to Brendon don't be home on Friday Brendon isn't in Indiana. I guess maybe they meant for that to be directed at me? Curious as I'll be in DC then. Hear that XPY trolls, I'll be in DC meeting with friends from the SEC. Do you want an address? That's a weak threat. Sounds like a bunch of pussies behind a computer to me.

I've said it before I'll say it again. AMATUERS!!!! If they're going to run paybase like an exchange, they have to get a FinCEN MSB Registration number to use credit cards and or bank accounts and they're operating in the United States. Has anyone checked that they've done this? My guess is paybase and the paycoin site should have already been shut down because of this. Can somebody connect with the .gov Financial Crimes Enforcement Network? Here's the link. http://www.fincen.gov/Let's get Paycoin and Paybase shut down. Reg number is 31000058736200, can be searched on http://www.fincen.gov/financial_institutions/msb/msbstateselector.html.

Yeah I did. This was the last straw. My tolerance level was reached with that last stupid mistake. I have to admit that you have a amazingly HIGH LEVEL of TOLERANCE, Daffy ... Yes I have. If you spend seven year on a helpdesk in a dealing room you learn to have patience. Some of those traders use computers every day but they really are computer illiterate.

What in the quote that you posted said anything about religion? You are (purposefully?) missing my point. GAW runs HT like a religious sect. Bannings, "us vs them", answering legitimate questions with "trust me" or "I have faith in Josh" etc. etc. Is it really any surprise that one of the flock has decided to threaten to commit an act of violence?

So, I've summed up 2 conclusions. 1) GAW legal team is either non existent or a complete joke, either of which they will fall in court hilariously fast under the huge mound of evidence against them. 2) GAW knowingly committed fraud on their credit card processor. I'll just give my opinion and say both. Don't worry Homero, when the Feds arrest you at Bitcoin Miami I'll make sure to visit you in federal prison with a Hashlet shirt on.

https://hashtalk.org/topic/28484/credit-card-purchasing-temporarily-on-hold/2Credit Card Purchasing Temporarily on Hold
Dear Paybase Customer,
As many of you know we released a pilot program that allowed customers to purchase a small amount of Paycoin with credit cards through Paybase.
We would like to thank our users and the community for pointing out that our payment gateway prohibits usage by Money Service Businesses additionally the sales of virtual currencies may be prohibited by their ToS.
We have reached out to our payment processor for further clarification and to insure we are compliant with their guidelines and policies we have placed this program on hold.
Thank you, and we will restore this feature as soon as possible!
Paycoin
GAW not checking ToS? You should see how surprised I am by this announcement... https://coinfire.cf/2015/01/09/xpy-purchasing-by-credit-card-disabled-by-stripe-for-tos-violation/coinfire the comments section of that article contains a death threat. id ip trace and get police involved. it'll send a strong message about what their community is made of.

I had (mis)read your statement as saying that "threat of violence" therefore "radical religious sect". The comparison would be fine just saying "radical sect", there are plenty of radical non-religious sects, and there's nothing to suggest that any of this has anything to do with religion. What was posted earlier seemed to be that one of the employees ran a church or something, that seems to have nothing to do with the issue here.

A while ago this is the guy who OWNS GAW... Stuart Fraser. He also owed most of JOsh's companys since that wireless company. Josh is Stuarts pet project. http://www.cantor.com/public/aboutus/sfraser.htmlVice Chairman Stuart Fraser is Vice Chairman and partner of Cantor Fitzgerald, L.P. Mr. Fraser joined Cantor Fitzgerald in 1983 with Howard Lutnick, the Chairman and CEO, and the two were the first to matriculate from Cantor Fitzgerald's Training Program. Mr. Fraser oversaw the firm's Government Securities Brokerage (GSB) business and is credited with the highly successful transition of GSB from a traditional "open-outcry" environment to the world's first fully electronic government securities marketplace. Mr. Fraser annually has led Cantor Fitzgerald's September 11 memorial service attended by families and friends of the firm's 658 employees who perished in the World Trade Center attacks and is a director of the Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund. Mr. Fraser serves on the Board of Directors and has ownership interests in Great Auk Wireless, an Internet provider and Union Street Media, a Website developer. He is also the majority owner of the Texas Brahmas Hockey Club of the CHL. His philanthropic endeavors include board positions with The Strategic Development Board of the University of Missouri, The Keewaydin Foundation and Harlem RBI, a non-profit organization which supports underprivileged children in Harlem.

Anybody want to take bets it was actually Homero, an employee acting on behalf of Homero, or an employee acting on behalf of themselves that made the death threat?
