Sometimes, I wonder if this GAW saga is still being orchestrated, and all this drama around back-stabbing, TeamXPY et al is just a diversion while the cogs keep turning to produce a far larger scam. I just can't get to trust any of the employee of GAW saga, ex or not.

An elaborate scam...

Why wouldn't you trust the guy that ran a data center that ran up a huge electric bill that never got paid and didn't send the coins to the users who were paying for the miners/maintenance fees?

Or the interim CEO of a company that had no business plan?

Or the guy running a lending website that makes zero sense?

These all seem like trustworthy individuals to me.

WTF is going on with XPY on Cryptsy? Looks like the a big section of the Sell Order book was cleared, and there is some blatantly obvious Bot action. Weird. Never seen anything quite like this before.

https://bitcoinwisdom.com/markets/cryptsy/xpybtc

Theories as to what we are looking at here? There were no buys clearing the Sell Orders, so did Cryptsy clear them?   Huh

Hilarious. Check out the XPY chart with Auto range on:

Sell book still cleared between .00078 to .035.

Edit to add: Looking at the Craptsy XPY books directly I ca not tell what is happeneing. There are a bunch of tiny orders painting the visible order book, and these get grouped together on the BTCW chart, so it doe not make anything more clear.

Edit again. LOL! The volume/depth chart shows pretty much the same weirdness as is showing on BTCW.

Archive o Craptzy XPY page at this moment: https://archive.is/37ifg

WTF? Never seen anything like this. Did Craptsy's Bots creating fake volume for Paycoin go bonkers or? Dunno. Huh

The entire craptsy site is completely hosed today.  I was in the process of trying to get all my stuff out of there for good and every single one of their coin markets was frozen when I tried to sell out everything to BTC.  So I cancelled all of my orders and decided to wait.  Then I decided to remake one order and leave the rest until later.  Then I come back and apparently all of my cancelled trades went through because all of my non-BTC coins are gone and I have a negative balance on the one that I remade.  Meanwhile the trades history shows none of them and my BTC balance has not been updated to reflect all of my sells.

So whatever you are seeing on bitcoinwisdom today is probably a reflection of that clusterfuck.

Looks to me like a bunch of sale orders tripped bots sales at the same time, obviously there is a concerted effort to paint the tape to keep XPY from entering into a mach 4 speed death spiral.

About the CAF, [Garza said:][1]
> When the coin opens to the public on Jan. 2 with what Mr. Garza says will be an anticipated market capitalization of $250 million, the company will partly back that with a store of **fiat currency worth around $100 million.**

So no, it wasn't just hyping the value of xpy premine coins. That's even more clear if you consider that having a lot of premine coins is not at all useful in supporting a floor price. If it were then lots of premined shitcoins would be supporting high market caps. You need fiat or bitcoin to move the market that way.

Second, you write "it makes far more sense to have a successful mainstream adopted coin that really holds a $20 floor." Well, sure, but without the CAF they had no realistic possibility of achieving that floor.  Also relevant here is that they claimed to have a "first of its kind" [deal with Amazon][2], and other features ready to roll out, none of which were true. They had nothing to offer that could have driven mainstream adoption.

But you're right about the incompetence, the poor coverups, the dishonesty, etc.

Here's my summary:

* **People were enticed into buying based on some huge claims and promises.** Among other things, the claims about having massive fiat reserves that would be used to support a $20 floor, and about having first-of-its-kind partnerships with major retailers like Amazon.

* **If those claims had been true then paycoin would have been an instant success on a huge scale.** They would have been able to hold the $20 floor with a small fraction of the hundred million CAF. The kind of partnerships being claimed with Amazon would have made the coin unique in the world of crypto. Not even Bitcoin had that kind of merchant integration with Amazon. It would have been every bit as groundbreaking as investors were led to believe it would be.

* **But those claims were false. What was delivered instead was a broken peercoin clone.** No partnerships with any major retailers. Half-assed web site development. A shitcoin of no real value.

I'm not a lawyer, but "fraud" sounds like an accurate word to use here.

Its every detail was conceptualized in order to make cryptocurrency work for everyone – merchants, consumers, and investors. Paycoin is bank-backed, ensuring that the value does not bottom out. If you are familiar with Bitcoin you know that it can be used to make money from buying and selling at differing prices but that makes it unrealistic for real world banking. Some investors may be okay with fluctuating prices but not merchants and consumers. Therefore, Paycoin will have much lower risks than investing in other cryptocurrencies.

I'm not going to go search the site because I really don't care THAT much about it.

But you care enough to write walls of text here in support of it!   Something is going on with you.  I don't believe you have absolutely no financial interest in this.  You weren't this supportive of them 300 pages back. What has changed?

I went to the hangouts and listened to them answer questions

Incorrect. You went and listened to a bunch of scammers spin up a bunch of fancy lies that were palatable to you, thereby suckering you into believing what they want you to believe. You are confusing being played for a fool with listening to honest people explain something. FAIL!

I disagree.

Fascinating. When I start valuing the opinion of a consistent fool I will let you know.

FWIW: I have watched lots of these G Hangouts and everything they say is obvious and provable lies, yet you only see and repeat what they want you to believe. Maybe you are a shill, or maybe you are simply a fucking fool. I do not really care which. I will stick to reality and facts, you are quite welcome to live in a fantasy world created for you by a bunch of liars.
I don't understand the extreme emotional response? It sounds clear that you are not willing to ask questions about the blockchain shuffling that you've noticed and no one else has done the work that you've done so they might not be comfortable asking those questions. Would also be interesting to what the 'provable' lies are?

I guess we will continue to disagree. No harm in that. Smiley

There was no emotional response at all. The Blockchain does not lie. Liars lie. ALL of the major players in Paycoin are LIARS. I believe the Blockchain, and you believe lying liars who have every reason to lie to you. I do not need the validation of a pack of lying , scamming, scamdogs who were handpicked by Homero Garza to tell me that the facts actually mean the opposite of what they say. Have fun being played for a fucking fool.

PROTIP: Keep in mind that your children will be reading this someday and seeing what an absolute and total fool you are.
