A generous nastyfans member offered to get nastyfans.org. I generated a new SSL certificate to support nastyfans.bit and nastyfans.org. It is also self-signed so you must accept it again. Sorry for the inconvenience. But now people can use nastyfans.org if wanted.

I don't see an option to change a vote once cast, did I overlook it or does it have to be done through support?

I want to show the current results as soon as you vote. This is not implemented yet but is my plan. I think it is not appropriate to change votes. Members can play games and change at the last minute. Like ebay bidding shit. I do not want that.

When you vote that is your vote. I believe all voting systems are like this.

While I do agree with everything you just said there is also the counter argument of someone misreading, misclicking, or becoming more educated (here for example).

I dont want perfect to be the enemy of good, and what we have is awesome.  I am just wondering if there are not some situations where changing a vote is legitimate.

I think it would be appropriate to contact nonnakip in the event one wants to change their vote. This way we could prevent members playing games, while still allowing someone who misread the text to have their vote count for what they want it to count for.

Still very little members are publishing seat and identity information. I recommend strongly that members publish this information. It is for your security.

Also it is important that members download the last list and signatures. If nastyfans.org/.bit disappear you need to have the list and signatures ready. They are publicly available. A simple automatic script can handle it. For example:

I will manually change votes for open polls if I have a signed request from a member. This means a identity must be set in the nastyfans account. The username has no meaning to me. Only signatures from identities are respected.

Even if polls are open a action can occur if 75% vote for the action.

Even if polls are open a action will definitely not occur if more than 25% vote for no action. Here it is not possible for 75% to vote for the action.

I make buy transaction data public (date,time,seats,price_per_seat). This URL is updated every 10 minutes. It includes all buys since nastyfans auction exists. Maybe this helps you.

Yes.  This is both relevant and disturbing.  I've requested a refund on our bASIC orders as per the results of our poll.  Hopefully Tom will come through.  For those that don't know the situation...  Tom (cablepair) seems to have disappeared and is being very slow processing refunds.  I've sent him an email at: thomas@thomasvanriper.com pleading with him to return our funds.  It seems he has refunded a few people, so there is still hope.  It probably wouldn't hurt to shoot him a message asking to refund our order #'s 736 & 816 if you've had any prior relationship with him.

There are 338 unclaimed seats. A new poll is open to decide if a lottery is used.

Approximately 18:00 (UTC) on 2013-01-14 nastyfans will be open to the general public. Until now the auction is only available to members. When new users join they may have more demand for seats. If you list seats on the auction for prices that are low and you prefer higher prices then maybe now is a good time to change it.

If enough people were to either abstain, or vote "no" on the CURRENT lottery poll, will it really result in the new idea being voted on?

I'd love a guaranteed opportunity to pick up 3 seats without having to drop more BTC, and possibly might pick up 1 or more seats from the leftovers distributed via lottery.

Why not distribute the extra seats proportionally to the number of the seats owned by each nasty fan? I think it should be done exactly in the same way we distribute the donations.
