It is sad to see OP not working on promoting the weekly game. That game had an issue but still was not too bad and could be saved. Instead it is left for dead. Not even 200 BTC of volume vs last week’s 715 BTC.
All the volume in the 1st weekly game was in the first 2 days. I don't think we'll see that again. My guess is the start of the next weekly will be even more wild than the daily games because people will believe there is more safety in the weekly game and the weekly game will dead in a few hours or even minutes. Seriously, a hundred people watching the clock would look the same as a bunch of scripts battling it out. I wouldn't enter because the website could just go down at any point again; sure the owner might not be behind it going down, but you still are not going to get any compensation if the game screws up. Not only that with the level of planning and preparation (people using bots/scripts) it will take all fun out of the game; if I wanted to watch robots fighting I'm sure there is a more entertaining end-product than numbers changing on a computer screen. If you're a regular person without bots/scripts don't even bother with this game. Even with scripts etc I wouldn't risk it because of uncompensated downtime.

The only downtime the sites have had are due to Bitcoinmonitor's IPN system being down. When it was brought back up, the lost time was added to the round.

OMG im one of the latest that got payed and i deposited in 4 seconds!!!
OP u should change the deposit adress when new game starts so no bots will play, this is unfair!!
Changing the address each game would give a bot a vast advantage over people. That is assuming anyone has really written a bot for these. Build a bitcoin transaction is hard, reading a bitcoin address from a page is easy. Bots could even check for the address over multiple IPs. Building a bitcoin transaction is as easy as reading an address... But you're right it will be harder for humans to have to copy the address before making the transaction, so even if the bot isn't faster, changing the address will disadvantage the humans. Let's clarify that a little. Sending a transaction with something like the blockchain API is pretty easy. Sending a transaction through the bitcoin-core via some external scripting isn't so simple. The timing performance would be vastly different, a web API would be very unreliable time wise. Any script using those types of API's is going to end up feeding rewards to human players. Now clearly it can be done, and if you already have the script that sends a fast bitcoin transaction, then the rest is a piece of cake. Writing that script though from the ground up, isn't so easy and it isn't so easy to find right now. By not so easy, I mean it could take days to get it working well. I think you would have an advantage on Linux though as some of that type of scripting has been done there and the library setups for a script are probably more straight forward.

There's just not enough people playing. The timer is too hard to read, otherwise I would have profited again.
You're right. We need more people to play.

The only downtime the sites have had are due to Bitcoinmonitor's IPN system being down. When it was brought back up, the lost time was added to the round. That still affected the game heavily, it is still downtime whichever way you look at it. The website was launched instantly after the 24 hours of downtime with almost no lead up too, so even if the 24 hours was added to the timer, it is still not really representative of how much the downtime affected the game.

You're right. We need more people to play. That's impossible, every week there will be less players since some of players already lost their bitcoin because they are late to invest Next week you'll see less players than this week And most people start to realize they will get their payment only if they deposit soon after the round starts, and so it is just rational to have very few or zero activity after the first day.

So people who tried it then, would have lost money. But still went ahead and tried it this time as well.

Yes, they do, and they will, as far as these ponzis will look promising and will pay, and they won't stop until they either get scammed or lose the way people are losing in this one...

You forget that the majority wins at a ponzi with 30% profit.
Round about First 65% Win Then 5% Fees Last 30% Lose
I think the Volume will slowly increase. It is true that some loose their BTC and can't play again, but some win and can play next round with more BTC.
Normally nobody likes ponzis, but here everything is clear advertised and u know what u are going into.

How did you reach a 65% win conclusion? That is flatly untrue and really depends on the amounts that people have put in (i.e. 0.0001 BTC and 1 BTC are completely different). To even move another 20 slots up at least 20 BTC would have to be deposited, so the game is not going to proceed any more. I think you should be a little more realistic: you will lose this game unless you have a script/alarm clock set for the very first few minutes of the game. Otherwise don't bother.

Yeah you're honestly a lot better off risking it investing or playing actual casino games where there is some actual element of chance--the number of people who invest in this scheme is unknown, the website stability is unknown etc. Not only that releasing the address beforehand is stupid; the rough time of the game should be announced (+/- random 10 minutes) and whoever is lucky enough to get the address first can deposit the soonest. All that pre-announcing the address does is let everyone who can script spam the crap out of the site completely taking any entertainment element out of it (again, if you're going into this without a bot you're not competing against humans, you are competing against bots)

[...]Not only that releasing the address beforehand is stupid; the rough time of the game should be announced (+/- random 10 minutes) and whoever is lucky enough to get the address first can deposit the soonest. That will always be the bots. A bot can process the contents of a webpage, extract the address, and initiate payments to that address before you've even registered that there's a new address on the page. While I do believe that this is ultimately doomed to fail, the existing setup does allows human players a chance to get at least one "bet" in before it's too late. I'm not running any scripts or bots and I was the 12th payout for Day #3; my "bet" was received at 00:00:01.

I'm not running any scripts or bots and I was the 12th payout for Day #3; my "bet" was received at 00:00:01. The fact that the time is fixed and the address is fixed puts bots and humans on equal footing for the first deposit. A bot would have an advantage to a human playing with a single wallet for the 2nd deposit done in the game. If you vary the time and/or vary the address you take away any advantage the human has and give bots a huge advantage. It is easy for code to cope with both of those issues. A bot can even use multiple IP's to watch the websites. Only the fact that all information is know gives human players a chance. I doubt there are actually any bots being used. I've written bots before and it isn't worth writing a bot for this. There are just too many ways to shoot yourself in the foot. What you are seeing is people watching the clock and hitting the "ok" button when they see it is time to play. A few dozen humans doing that looks just the same as a bunch of bots.

However, if the OP were to actually complicate the process by changing the address for each round, you can bet we'd see some bots creep into the game.

No problem if you don't play either, then you don't have to make a choice. Anyway it has been bitched about and so if it isn't going to change you have to live with it.
