Nocoin TX fees have gone up x10 today.
Dartious just edited post of april 22. (presale BS)

Darteous
1h
Tx will be fixed at .01 neu not .001 as accidentally stated earlier.
http://forum.neucoin.org/t/a-few-answers-for-common-neucoin-questions-answered-here/121/60

Not too great for tipping, more rewards for founders.
Presale purchasers are gonna be delighted I not think.

Okay, you have good arguments here, NoKoin it is.
(OP please adjust the thread title accordingly)

What about the logo can we add a bigger squirrel somewhere, maybe on the shoulder?
I think the corporate identity gets kind of lost if it's only visible on the tiny button.
Maybe a change in color would also help, ... but we should first collect another round of BTC from "early investors", you know maybe sell some more peanuts for a lot of money...

LiQio, maybe you'll like this version better

After reading more on the Direct Revenue lawsuits, here's what we found

1] Despite Kaufman trying to deny his involvement, his own emails confirm he was well aware of his company's unsavory business practices
http://www.benedelman.org/spyware/nyag-dr/e90.pdf
http://www.benedelman.org/spyware/nyag-dr/e91.pdf

2] Beside Kaufman, 3 others who were heavily involved in Direct Revenue's operations are part of nokoin as strategic angels = Josh Abram, Alan Murray, Josh Engroff
http://www.benedelman.org/spyware/nyag-dr/e3.pdf
http://www.neucoin.org/en/wiki/#angels
Notice that their roles at Direct Revenue are conveniently left out on nokoin's introduction. We would not be surprised if more people from the original Direct Revenue crew are involved in this.

3] Some interesting court exhibits, including internal emails
http://www.benedelman.org/spyware/nyag-dr/e5.pdf - User complaints and threats, and Direct Revenue's responses (including jokes).
http://www.benedelman.org/spyware/nyag-dr/e50.pdf - Email from Dave Methvin of PC Pitstop regarding Direct Revenue distributed with child porn.
http://www.benedelman.org/spyware/nyag-dr/e58.pdf - June 2005 tests of major antispyware and antivirus programs, to determine their treatment of Direct Revenue software.
http://www.benedelman.org/spyware/nyag-dr/e66.pdf - Reports substantial revenues from "taking over" Internet Explorer's search panel.
http://www.benedelman.org/spyware/nyag-dr/e68.pdf - Correspondence with Hitwise staff regarding data collection from non-US users. Hitwise describes Direct Revenue's efforts as yielding "good match rates" and says Direct revenue's "mining efforts are certainly working." For Australia alone, Hitwise reports that Direct Revenue data includes more than 30,000 user IDs, 14,000 gender records, and 8,000 phone numbers.
http://www.benedelman.org/spyware/nyag-dr/e71.pdf - Email messages regarding ad frequency and user complaints. Doman writes that "we are serving WAY TOO MANY pops per hour" which "drive(s) users to get us the hell of(f) their machine."
http://www.benedelman.org/spyware/nyag-dr/e80.pdf - Email correspondence with a ten-inc.com staff person, who requests "a newer, more stealthier version" of Direct Revenue software. Direct Revenue staff reply by offering "a very stealthy version" which, they say, "will not be caught."
http://www.benedelman.org/spyware/nyag-dr/e114.pdf - States that Direct Revenue will allow its partners to reinstall its software daily, even if a user has removed the software using an anti-spyware program or other method, so long as the user's disk does not indicate the use of the official (MyPCTuneup) removal method. Claims that "our EULA allows for it." Suggests that this "will buy some time until a new tougher / more stealthy app comes out."
http://www.benedelman.org/spyware/nyag-dr/e117.pdf - Instructs immediate removal from the Control Panel Add/Remove list because "insane" numbers of users were turning to that feature to remove Direct Revenue software.
More exhibits available at http://www.benedelman.org/spyware/nyag-dr/

it has been said that the two targets of NoKoin are "tipping" and "ad removal", we wonder if by "ad removal" they plan to once again infect millions of computers with spyware then charge nokoins for removal??!

good work Kimberly .

Dang Dan, kinda sleazy...  what kind of 'utility and value' were you creating with these shenanigans I wonder?  I guess it doesn't matter as long as you're making money right?  Just like neucoin.

Your not banned....yet. (or Kim) There seems to be a new policy of lovin. "They're a friendly bunch"
Half a dozen or so mods roam the corridors of nou forum ready to give likes to any post going. the more mundane and inaccurate, the better.
Latest mod addition is "BTC2You4Free" a "minor" (young person).
Just try to get a clear, straight answer to ANYTHING!
Or, for guaranteed banning, simply reply directly to Dan "Dank" Kaufman
Good luck with that

(BTW 24 hours after Dartious posting x10 increase in tx fees, no reaction on nou forum, except 1 like?)

"They're a friendly bunch" Yep that's what seems to be happening... which makes it even worse imo beause now we are the bad guys in the eyes all the leader's followers (i.e. most of the regular users left), and that's the impression that newcomers will get.

Unlike many other coins, this coins target is not to sit on an exchange and be used mostly by day traders all day. So the tx fee change from a thousandth of a cent to a hundredth of a cent isn't a big deal. We've always been a rather friendly bunch. But insulting slander is not tolerated. And well I'm rather blunt. I need to work on being a bit softer on how I come off on people sometimes. Didi though they may have claimed to have been wrongly banned, that is not the case. Banned members went overboard in their dissent of the coin. Though it may have been a bit suddenly for a few of them as we hadn't set up extensive banning rules yet, that's currently being worked on.

Kim is not going to be banned unless she disrupts the forum. She had a few public posts, if she comes back ranting she will be banned. If she calms down and changes her mind she is welcome to come back to the neucoin forum.

Thanks for the reply, but i don't see "insulting slander" anywhere (link me to it if i missed anything please), and as per your own words "I need to work on being a bit softer on how I come off on people sometimes.".

So what do i have to think now?

And the TX fees are really important when talking about a tipping (read "constantly used") coin that's supposed to increase in value (otherwise why do IPCO's exist, AT ALL??) and on top of that fees are monetized (not destroyed) and given back to the company (who will get to stake the most?).

I'm so done with crypto. BTC included, i dislike PoW coins. Centralization and the unbelievable operating costs are the stuff that satoshi's nightmares are made of.

The posts were deleted.
The current plan is for the tx fee coins to be destroyed. Though I'm not sure that is concrete.
And You think a hundredth of a cent is to high? 100 tx will cost 1 cent.

I did not insult anyone I'm simply naturally blunt and at times people find that insulting.

A month or so ago I asked a facebook page that was based around some old guys theorys how much longer he's expecting to live.
Which on that note, if you're looking for something that's very logical may I suggest reading into the Venus Project.

The current plan is for the tx fee coins to be destroyed. Though I'm not sure that is concrete. Then why increase them, AT ALL?? And don't tell me that it's to prevent TX spamming.
And You think a hundredth of a cent is to high? 100 tx will cost 1 cent. Again, why did you sell something that isn't supposed to increase in price (value should come first tho) to "investors"? Ah, angels got bargain price. And you know, 1 cent is not exactly peanuts in, say Kenya or Ghana, and a hundred 1 cent transfers would still get a 1% fee. You may think that this example is going over the top, but you get the drift.

I did not insult anyone I'm simply naturally blunt and at times people find that insulting. I'm cool with that.

It's a digital currency, The poorest nations don't even have much electricity. So they can't be a part of the market plan anytime soon. As with almost all new products the rich get them first and then as they become more affordable and successful branching out becomes possible. The way the world is setup there will always be poor. And with your demeanor I thought you'd enjoy reading that a project like the Venus Project exists. Take a look at the website, maybe it will raise your spirit just a little. https://www.thevenusproject.com/en/
As long as money rules the world there will always be poor. I understand this but for one I know crypto is a step better than fiat and two unless the world comes together and renounces money it does no good to renounce it by oneself.

I'll have to agree with you that your target is the first world because that's obviously how you have set up your business, but i have the need to remind you have to be really, really poor in order not to have a smartphone (random google article using a quick search for "poor smartphone owners", i had never read that one before: http://techcrunch.com/2012/06/09/feature-phones-are-not-the-future/) and basic internet access in the "second world" (Argentina and BTC FTW!!), and as far as digital tender is concerned the "third world" beat us all (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M-Pesa). I know that it's not the same than crypto, but your "no electricity you screwed" argument is BS and i gave you a pretty solid example imo.

But you know what... i'm tired. Reply if you want with an irrefutable argument/fact, but there's only so much empty talk my brain can tolerate.

Really? Well, i will certainly not judge him for being chinese (pretty cool chinese dissidents out there...), but i find it... odd, somehow. He's got a pretty good english too, better than mine (spaniard here).

EDIT: You said he lived in china, not that he was chinese. My mistake, if so.
