Yes  family comes first
yes  shit happens  (not the best choice of words)

The problem the community had wasn't in delays ,It was lack of communication, going silent,Its a trust issue.
The idea of beancore i assume is such as investors on a board.
most of us dont have dev skills to offer but we are invested and do have voices
if we have information

1.roadmap behind
2.personal issues
3.bitbean needs more holdings
4.development needs funding
or any funding for projects
5.find a person the community can get informatin from when you are not around (Public relations person)

We were all in a better position with our invesment to help 1-2 months ago, letting the price fall was not the answer.
We all want bitbean to succeed

1.transparency
2.information
3.product
4.community
Without these we have nothing

We don't need dirty laundry aired in bitcointalk forum thats what beancore and irc are for, take it to beancore community,
not saying if you are not in beancore you dont matter, but if you hold enough that you feel the need to bitch on forums "join beancore",
be apart of the solution not the problem .
(sadly this time we are airing in bitcoin forum ,because we had to)

let the community be on your side ,not against you

my 2 cents

totally agree

Can we get eta on roadmap and if it will be updated with current release times

Yes, this will be forthcoming soon.

Sincerely,

Shawn Kent (aka Bitbeaner)

there is still a active dev

Yes there is. I haven't gone anywhere. If there are those who would like to be involved and active in BitBeans development, they can contact me and/or join Bean Core. Bean Core provides members with up to-date status of development progress and allows members to be actively involved.

I will be posting some further development progress here for the general community in the coming days.

Sincerely,

Did you ever get the Password to the Github account?? There are still rumors floating about that you have yet to get the password, hence the lack of github updates etc..

It amazes me that the "Self Proclaimed Dev" of this coin never answers the specific questions we ask, but only answers with some generalized statement of coming soon, we have plans... Look to the road map...  I just want to see that he has access to the github account... lets start there.

next I want to know when the IRC backdoor that was recently discovered will be removed?? Bitbeaner was privately informed of this issue awhile ago and has chosen not to proactively fix it... So Now I am asking... When will it be removed???

Instead of promulgating FUD (Fear Uncertainty and Doubt), why haven't you joined Bean Core and actively been part of the solution, and offered your expertise and assistance? Coming in a public forum and creating division is the polar opposite of a core value of Team Bean ("Beans stick together").

Regarding the IRC issue, this is being addressed along with other issues I will not specifically address in a public forum. These issues should be discussed in Bean Core and if you are sincerely interested in helping BitBean, that is the place to be if you are a major holder of BitBean (5M+).

As I have mentioned before, I will be 'pushing' an update to the github repository soon. I would hope this will lay to rest the conspiracy that I don't have the password to github.

We were having a private discussion via email BitBeaner, but you chose not to answer the question which leads me to believe you don't have a relevant answer.

How to enable POS In Wallet ?

Setting, options, click Display coin control feature. This allows you to reblock your coins.

Settings, unlock wallet (does it for staking only). Check the bottom right of the wallet for the green arrow appearing showing your staking weight.

Wallet must be running to stake and I personally keep my blocks from 6k - 20+k. Coin control is left on automatic whilst staking.

Pre-empting the next question :

Re-blocking your coins

 - set your passphrase to something short otherwise lock the wallet.
 - Copy your wallet address to the clipboard (receive coins, highlight the wallet address and Copy Address).
 - Send coins, tick custom change address and paste your address into the box provided.
 - Click inputs.., expand the blocks and mark the one(s) you wish to reblock. OK, paste your address into the pay to box and specify the
amount. Send, blah, blah and wait 10+ seconds to process then repeat this part.
 - Reset your passphrase back and unlock the wallet.

Reducing the block size, keep halving the amount. If it's 50k then mark it and send 25k, two block of 25k will get produced. Creating
larger blocks, for example, mark 50k worth of smaller blocks and then send 25k. Again, two 25k blocks should appear.

If you seem to have lost coins check they have not been put into another address in the wallet. Send coins, Inputs..., expand blocks
and click address, if two appear, mark the new one and send the coins back to your prime address.

If still not adding up, Help, Debug window, checkwallet, if it does not pass, repairwallet.

Coins need to be in your wallet for 6 hours before they will mature for staking.

How to enable POS In Wallet ?

Hold on a moment, just send me your coins and I will stake them for you or give me remote access
to your PC and I'll setup your wallet...lol.

But seriously, to answer your question:

After loading your wallet:
click "Settings", then "unlock wallet"

If you wish to optimise, try following the rest of the instructions. If you get stuck, post it here.
