Most of the people that are talking that way when dips or corrections are happening it's like the end of bitcoin for them. They don't get it why bitcoin needs to go through these dips and they are describing it as something that makes bitcoin dead. Don't take those FUDDers seriously when they keep on saying that bitcoin is dead or it is about to end, they lack of experience when it comes to those times.

Even i think the same but atleast for now, we can invest into bitcoins and earn profits. I think untill 2020 bitcoins are safe to get in. Future is not guaranteed. Bitcoins should be soon legalised which will gradually increase the lifespan of bitcoins which can be then be profitable for each bitcoiner for long term.

No it wasnt dead. Maybe we facing some problems because this past few days maybe bitcoin decrease its value on the market but it just happen everytime but it will also increase after that. And i think bitcoin will not be dead until theres a lot of people who using it and who used to it and there are a lot of people keep believing and supporting to this technologies. Maybe there are one reason that bitcoin will gone into this world and that is if theres no still human living on this era.

Why people say bitcoin is dead, this is because they think the price drops to tens of percent and there is no hope of going up again, this is wrong because bitcoin will go up soon.

Just because it drops up to 20%, that doesn't mean it will die. A lot of people keep on saying or asking if it's dead whenever the price drops. And when it increase, they keep on praising it. People nowadays are taking two sides. Either they will praise bitcoin if it increase, or keep telling or asking if its dead or it ends. If you have faith in bitcoin, then you're not supposed to ask if its dead or not.

No it is not down at all now bitcoin is again increasing to high level. Price of bitcoin will be more than present price of bitcoin right now.  Bitcoin is down at 20% ad will get high more than 20% at end of this year. Now I know bitcoin is having good potential and it will make me earn huge income in very short time so I love to invest in bitcoin and have good profit because bitcoin will never die.

Meh, no interest in crap like that. The only bitcoins I ever got were a few back when you could mine profitably with GPUs, and a few more in exchange for services. Never bought any with real money and don't plan to. What I am interested in is if anyone serious still sees a future in bitcoin, and if so, what they're reasons might be. That's why I started this thread.

Although the answer is harsh, but I agree. I mean how can something that's showing a really strong impact in the market and is continuously gaining in price point would be dead. It may decrease or stood still in value for sometime, but for bitcoin right now, there is no place but up for bitcoin. Many people are beginning to realize its advantages and importance, and not to mention the good things it can bring into the market. Having said, bitcoin will continuously prosper opposite of some negative people claim.

a 2015 thread but right now bitcoin is still alive, many people are still buying it and there is no trace of bitcoin going down as of now, i must say that bitcoin is really the next generation of business were most of future venture they already adopted to the system technology called the blockchain.

Bitcoin is not dying is just giving opportunities to others to purchase bitcoin at lower price. Dying is the word for those who have tons of bitcoins in their wallets in which their possible huge gaining is reducing but for those who don't have enough bitcoin it will be an opportunity. We just keep on holding our bitcoin no matter what happen because once everybody is onboard, value will rise up to the moon.

I have the impression that bitcoin as an ideal is dead, but not because the underlying idea is bad, but that the very nature of capitalism tends to gradually destroy everything that seems to have value and and can be used for speculation in an open market. We should not limit ourselves to the reality that the life of bitcoin has an end. Well, truthfully speaking everything has an end. But I believe that bitcoin will reign for long period of time, just like how gold had lived before. To answer the question, I believe that bitcoin is very alive and it also gives life to those who earn from it.
