The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Update

shareholders
Till now we have received and processed 88 claims.

GLBSE remains silent towards our requests.

production
The price of the mask set (as well as the first slot of wafers) has been determined, with the final payment contract and payment done. The chips production is still on the way.

The chips packaging price is settled down.

The PCB boards design & manufacturing is also worked on. We are making it as parallel as possible with the foundry to make the process smooth without long singular critical paths.

received and processed 88 claims.
That's nice. Truly it is.

Now, do those whose claims you have processed know that? I have received no word about my status.

Should I be sending a follow-up email now asking if I'm one of the 88 which have been, successfully, "received and processed"?

We have processed every claim appearing in the mailbox, including yours.
You could send the follow-up email to get the confirmation if you are uncertain about it.
Plus, before the migration starts, we will send the mail to notify all shareholders (or claimed ones if GLBSE fails to deliver the data) about the process.

I don't remember your forum id appearing in any of the claiming e-mails. So if you haven't claimed by e-mail, please send to (fnnirvana@gmail.com) your share number, your e-mail address to receive notifications, and the Bitcoin address to receive future dividend payments. We recommend you using an address of which the wallet is owned by yourself.

Why should he reply? This is only a backupplan. So he wont say that you have 100 shares from now on or so. He is only collecting data just in case glbse isnt giving out the assetdetails.

Please ALWAYS contact me through bitcointalk pm before sending someone coins.

As far as I know, he does get the asset info forwarded to him (perhaps aumatically). Other than that he is waiting on the actual "way to transfer the assets to another platform" and the btc was forwarded to him after the IPO was closed (that's what I got from reading and assuming).

And gabit, you want what, an email answering "ok"?..

Well, yes. If GLBSE fails to do its part, and all claims are finalized, then I get to hear that my mail is in bit heaven, it would piss me off. All I want to hear, that my assets are ok. That is all.

As far as i know friedcat did get most of the money from ipo. Thats why he could pay the fabrication. But when glbse closed there was still company money at glbse so he is waiting to get this from nefario. I only was wondering because in another thread someone claimed that the issuer got their btc back already. So i wondered if friedcat got this money back and only didnt get the shareinfo yet.
I think he didnt get the money nor the assetinfo yet.

Please ALWAYS contact me through bitcointalk pm before sending someone coins.

Read the rest of that post- GLBSE remains silent. He meant 88 claims of ownership by the investors. This information is collected in case GLBSE fails to provide data as promissed. My concern is about the impact of this unforseen administrative burden on the overall project. Engineering should be the priority. Once ASICs are hashing, friedcat and the rest should spend time untangling the mess. I know many would feel uncomfortable not getting an "official" confirmation of their share as soon as possible, but realistically this should not be the priority. Remember: every minute spent on doing something is a minute not spent on something else. The potential profit of this whole venture depends critically on how soon we start hashing. Designing and building PCBs, arranging for the assembly, and programming are all complex tasks.

They're there, in their room.

We both interprets that post in different ways, to me, saying as an update that "we have received 88 emails from you guys" is totally irrelevant considering if you sent an email, you sent an email, you sent an email. Only way it would be relevant at all is if we personally know the amount claims that were sent vs received to see if the data is matching. So perhaps this needs clarification from friedcat. Are those claims you received from GLBSE or from individual emails?.

I also see the "we have not been contacted by GLBSE" as in they did not receive instructions or compensation. I do not concider forwarded asset info as a form of contact.
