It's either rising too fast and will crash a bit, or it'll go to 5.0, or both depending on this wednesday's dividends, which are projected to be epic.

Wish I had more in Bitcoin even though it's crashing, AM is making up for it and if BTC takes off.... well shit

So this week we have a pretty rockin hashrate, tons of USB sales, and next week we should have blades right?

This is exactly how I feel. Cashed out about half my TATs around .034 and waiting to see what the next few days is like. I still feel like .035 is too high, in any case.

I don't like being cashed out with the recent hash rate increase / lucky streak lately, however. Though it's not like the price has even been linked to the hash rate 

I'm pretty sure those cashing out now will regret it.  We will have a full week of hardware sales this week and if they keep hashing at full capacity we could see record dividends next Wednesday.

Have to give credit where credit is due - dhenson was correct on this one. Didn't cash out all of my shares, just some. I have a lot of funds tied up in DMS.SELLING, so I'll have to see what the price looks like in a few days.

Why is that? I'm far from an expert on the subject but to me it seems like an absolutely brilliant and innovative use of a block chain, and the only existing alternative to the ICANN monopoly. Not a rival to BTC certainly, but I don't think it was ever intended to be one

It is an interesting idea with a totally crappy design.

I set up a bunch of medium-sized asks last week at 3.5, 3.6, 3.7, 3.8... was quite surprised to see that all of them had been executed since last night.

No, there are many, many other ICANN alternatives. They are all useless, just like Namecoin. Why? Because regular people can't access them. It's not reasonable to ask everyone on the entire internet to install plugins if they want to access your domains. Namecoin will never be a serious alternative to DNS.

"Regular people" don't use Bitcoin.  This community is a mecca for early adopters, not "everyone on the entire internet."

How are you any more useful than those saying 'there are many dollar alternatives, they are all useless just like Bitcoin?'  

Bitcoin is much more groundbreaking, it solves tons of problems we have with money.

Namecoin just... "meh".
If it wasn't design-broken it would have been "interesting" at best.
