why do people put "begging bowl" links in signatures. You've got a much higher chance of winning a lottery than anyone ever giving you something. If you turned up at my door saying "donate cash to me" what response do you think you'd get?

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

If you turned up at my door saying "donate cash to me" what response do you think you'd get? This is off topic, but I'll address it. In the early days of Bitcoin, it was common for people with multiple thousands of BTC to flip through forum threads and give 100BTC each to random people thanks to their addresses in their signatures. Yes, things have changed a lot since then.

Monero's privacy and therefore fungibility are MUCH stronger than Bitcoin's. This makes Monero a better candidate to deserve the term "digital cash".

+1, me too Sometimes people tip you when they like or agree with you. It doesn't happen often, but still, it happens. That being said, I don't think I've changed my signature in months!

I have received tips occasionally from people to whom I gave advice that seemed rather banal to me.
I've just gone back to BTC-TC to check out ASICMINER-PT again.
JESUS TITTYFUCKING CHRIST.
Time to hit the vodka I think.

yeah, I don't know why anyone would sell at these prices. the sell orders don't seem to be following much. At this point, people are just panicking.

A promise to communicate two days ago.
link, please Okay, not really a promise. I just remember seeing some post here that dissected some recent communication from our favourite cooked feline, strongly implying that there would be some kind of hopefully uplifting communication on Monday. I'd look for it, but... 668 TITTYFUCKING pages.

I remember what you are talking about. that communication was posted by someone else, not by FC himself, and it was never confirmed as coming from FC.

What do you guys think is the reason that FC doesn't update anymore? I'm sure there is a reason.

I'd say the primary reason is because there is not much to say at the moment.

I'd say the primary reason is because there is not much to say at the moment. I don't think so. What about hashrate? Does anyone know why it is so low, what is the plan? There is really much to explain. Small divs, no hashrate, no updates. He knows that the shareprice goes down as a result.

User 67117 showed up on rankings of BTCguild. If I remember corectly this is AM user account. Back to pool mining?
|
Under development Modular UPGRADEABLE Miner (MUM). Looking for investors. Changing one PCB with screwdriver and you have brand new miner in hand... Plug&Play, scalable from one module to thousands.

I don't assume he cares about current share price. But he should care about his shareholders. And he cares. Dividends are paid. Aren't they? They are low becuse network hashrate is increasing and sales of hardware are way less profitable than ever (smaller amount with smaller price tag)
