Did I miss something? I didn't expect the price to rise these days to be honest.
No you did not, people are just randomly clicking buttons like they always do  I actually though the price will go down even more as KNC is shipping massive amounts of miners right now KNC is shipping? I wonder if Bitcointalk.org downtime has significantly affected hardware sales for this week?
After all, I think most group buys went though this site. Otoh, there are plenty of non-bitcointalk reseller sites now like btcguild, eligius, amazon, etc.

Then you have the whole matter of 500 TH of blades coming on this month and it's not too surprising that the price went up at least a little bit. |

Did burnside transfer the Asicminer PT shares to direct shares already? I had two shares on BTCT.co and I just checked and they are no longer there. There is also no history of them being sold. Was this done already?
Not expected till later. To my knowledge, Friedcat will not be receiving the final list from Burnside until this Thursday.

With the swings contrary to the information provided publicly by friedcat, you almost wonder if he is involved with manipulating price. For example, give crappy news, make it sound like AM is dead, price drops, buy tons of shares, all the while you're just about to announce your 1 nm asic chip. Nice conspiracy theory, huh?

You can´t buy / sell a lot of shares without driving the price in one or the other direction.
So it does not make sense.

Correct. The original founders etc own roughly 240,000 shares of AM and are probably very happy with the divs from that. They have no reason to be interested in the price in a market that sells only dozens of shares a day. |
