Are they using blockchain.info? It is down for several hours already. Correct.  aha, thanks, silly me ok now any speculation as to where all the coins have come from? Last I checked there were roughly 70BTC yesterday.. |

I don't believe that was the concern. I'm no expert on the in's and out's of google docs but looking at the originals it appears to me they were posted anonymously. |

I don't believe that was the concern. I'm no expert on the in's and out's of google docs but looking at the originals it appears to me they were posted anonymously. In Google Docs there is an option "Move to folder" if you do that you can see the identity of the most recent edit in the list view of the folder. |

bs decides the operating mode. When bs=0, the range of core clock frequency is
200MHz-400MHz. When bs=1, the range of core clock frequency is 375MHz-750MHz.
PD will turn to 0 whenever reset or soft_reset is triggered. The user should set PD to 1 to start
the PLL again. When configuring the PLL without reset or soft_reset, the user should first set
PD to 0 along with modifying other register bits, then set PD to 1. There is a time period of
0.2ms after PD turns to 1 and before PLL resumes working properly.
The core clock frequency is calculated as follows:
CLK_CORE=CLK_OSC*(F6:F0+1)/2.
For example, in default setting, F6:F0 =0100111(39). If the frequency of the oscillator is 20MHz,
then the frequency of the core is 20*(39+1)/2=400MHz. At least the voltage is confirmed as it seems. And this even looks like an over-delievery!  |

with KNC announcement of SCRYPT ASICS and friedcat not seeing them be a worthwhile investment. with the prices of other alts and interest in scrypt asics - does asicminer not find it a good market to explore as well. with a well made scryptasic this year (possible solo mining) it could give friedcat and AM further revenue, stronger foothold in cryptocurrency, diversification and many other benefits. someone should talk to him about exploring this option again.

It would be pretty cool if ASICMINER was in peak mining form (i.e., huge dividends) in two months at the same time the next big rally is underway. That would be quite the wealth multiplier.

The point in scrypt is that it's ASIC resistant and the Litcoin devs are against ASICs. They might very well alter the code or switch to sth else than scrypt and make your 10K USD scrypt ASIC into a very expensive doorstop (you could probably still use it as an electric heater, hoping it's not too noisy for the home). I can see why FC doesn't want to waste allocate resources for developing a scrypt ASIC. |

OTOH, sales dividends will be converted to BTC from fiat. The lower BTC is at that (those) times, the higher the BTC return will be. Mining doesn't care. So let's see Gen3 batch 1 deployed before driving BTC price up too fast  This - also because share price tends to have downward pressure during rapid BTC appreciation. |

If a single cryptocurrency is to succeed it would be Bitcoin, otherwise it would be another SHA-256 coin that improves significantly in a few ways (such as smaller size blockchain, shorter block times, or the capability to handle much more volume) so that the massive pile of existing infrastructure remains useful and secures the network. its like inventing the stone wheel, then deciding that the rubber-covered square is the real game-changer |
