<SNIP>

About the Company ASICMINER is a GLBSE-listed partner company of the
Bitfountain IC company registered in China. After the fully issuing of
ASICMINER shares, each one of ASICMINER and Bitfountain controls 50% power to
make decisions and shares 50% of the total profits, but the ASICMINER investors
will first get 100% of the total profits until they have their principals paid
back. After the first payment, the dividends will always be paid weekly in each
Wednesday of Beijing time.

 </SNIP>

Quoted as per post 940

@arousedrhino: it's not the first post. Click on the "quote from..." links to get to the right message (but you know that).

That quote is from his first post the time and date match up and that is where you are taken when you click the link. The first post no longer says Wednesday dividends but a quote by another member of his first post does.

LOL, thank you captain obvious Smiley

Stan.distortion quoted FC so the OP would be kept. Some other quotes of the original OP on pages 45-50 (can't say for sure, but around message 940).

But yes, as some might have finally figured out, there is no promise either on the day or on the amount from mining in the new OP.

Can you please stop this fanboy shit?!

The commitment to pay weekly dividends is more than clear. It was defaulted w/o any announcement why etc.

That default would have been no problem at all if there had been a disclaimer like: -- nope, I will not explain it to you herd-following idiots again. --

I am really damn happy about the news from friedcat - as I have a bit more than your Mommy's granted pocketmoney in here.

You idiots can throw your few pocketmoney cents wherever you want, and Mommy won't know about it (she'd be happy it is not on dope).

Fact is that ASICMINER once again gave a shit about their investors (other than boardmembers). Where is the last dividend? Why was it not paid? Just explain in one sentence! No prob!

I do understand that you are all like "Hoorray, here we go to the moon with Gen3!" But if you give away your well deserved rights, you might end up with nothing.

Please grow up.

Has anyone found out whether "10% of network" is still the goal?

I'm still not certain what Rockminer changes for us.

What exactly do you want? Do you want a board member to bug FC to stop everything he is doing and manually transfer shares and pay out divs?

Do you honestly care that much?

I have tried to elaborate my point to ignorant fanboys like you over and over again. I will rest my case. You will never get it, pathetic lemming.

Good luck with your 5 shares. Adults are discussing here.

For a self proclaimed "adult" you really need to grow up.

Everyone here seems to be discussing gen3 and nobody else seems to be panicked about the skipped single block dividend.

The rest of us are looking forward to 50 block dividends when gen3 is finally brought online.

vortex1878 has a good point.  There was a commitment by AM to pay weekly dividends based on sales and mining less associated costs.  There are some funds in the mining address and the dividend was not paid on Wednesday.  No announcement was made as to why the dividend was paid.  A simple "Not enough funds to pay costs" or "We are busy working on Gen3".  Both of these take literally 30 seconds to type and keep shareholders updated.

jimmothy is right that gen3 is important and that is what we should be taking about.  Not a single block dividend.

However,  this lack of communication and the downward trend of lack of communication over the last 9 months is concerning as well.

Ignorance at its best. Are you really that stupid?

I will explain it to you in very slooow words. No, I make it even veeeeryyy sloooooow for you:

Nobody is panicking. I am holding AM.

-- Everybody serious please stop here! --

Whatever you mean with 50 block dividends... 50 BTC per "Block". Is that like the block of your house?

Ah, I got it, you mean Jenny from the block!

Mind sparing us from your bullshit, fucktard?

EDIT: I realized it might still not be clear for you. There is a commitment to pay a weekly dividend. If that doesn't happen for whatever reason - NO BIG DEAL. Just communicate why, and all is good. I might ask my 12 yo son to elaborate so even you, jimmothy, will understand.

I posted the same concern as you, but in a more civil and educated way.
It is ironical that you are patronizing everyone here putting yourself in some kind of higher moral pedestal, when you are actually behaving in the most immature way possible.

It is ironical that you consider my post to be patronizing everybody here. From your recent posts I would have also put you far from believing that I take myself as some kind of higher "pedestral".

Apologies if I was not able to send that idiot jimmothy to where he belongs as I could have in my native language.

+1.  It doesn't matter what the circumstances are with gen3, it was a commitment that has for the first time been broken.  Not cool.

2nd time. Last weeks divs were not on wednesday as well.

I agree that FC should have made a post when he was here but is there really any use constantly bitching about it/clogging up this thread?

I don't think FC actually even checks this thread. Only pops in once a month to post official updates.

Something I think would be better to bug him about is the dedicated PR person that was supposed to be here months ago.

The bitching is justified though.  If anyone owes me money, even if its a small amount.. say $20.. I'm going to put up a stink.

I am with you regarding the lack of a dedicated PR person, but how can you still be that ignorant?!

Exactly that had been promised over and over again.
And that IS sentiment in this thread. But YOU are trying to unnecessarily turn it down again.
It had been raised over and over again. And we will bring it up again and again until it is resolved.

Where is the PR person?

I believe that this whole thing boils down to trust.

Do I/you/we trust that Friedcat will do as he says?  Will the ASICMiner team?

Could he/they take gen3 chips and vanish only to sell them to someone else?  Will AM/FC honor the terms that stated?

Since this whole adventure started in August 2012 (~only 18 months ago!), FC/AM (and some shareholders) have made far more money than they ever dreamed of.

The question to ask yourself regardless of what other people here say is:

"Do I trust Friedcat and the ASICMiner team to act and deliver the things that they said that they would?"

The market has already spoken with a share price of ~0.65 with record low and no dividends.

What do you think?
