101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Selling BTC for Alt Coins? on: May 23, 2024, 05:36:06 PM
If you think altcoins could give you more profit than holding your Bitcoin then do it, if you have the skills and knowledge on trading then use it to get more profit.
For me when I think or feel that a coin that I have already reach the max price that it could right now then I would trade it into another coin that I think have a more potential to grow.
102  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to make money on cryptocurrencies without investment? on: May 23, 2024, 04:51:39 PM
Airdrops, campaigns, online jobs, faucets, P2E games, don't really know if there are still apps that gives out money, but it was one way to earn without investment before.
Those are the ways that I've know or used in order to earn online without any investment, just time and patience.
103  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do not make gambling the only activity you do for fun. on: May 23, 2024, 12:51:02 PM
Gamblers who make gambling the sole activity that they can have fun with will quickly transform into addicts, this is the exact thought I had today.

Gambling  frequently either for fun or to make money is a certain way to get addicted.

If you are gambling for fun, It will be better to have many other activities (options) that you can catch fun on, so you do not always have to gamble whenever you think of having fun.

What do you think?
I agree that we should consider other activities for fun, specially those who claims to only gamble for fun not for the profit, there are so many activities that they could enjoy.
Bonding with their family or friends could also be an option, we shouldn't just focus on gambling.
104  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Lack of capital or knowledge, which one is holding traders back from profits? on: May 22, 2024, 10:08:33 PM
For me it is the lack of knowledge, people with skills and knowledge could always start small and make it big because of it, but people with capital would only lose if they don't have proper knowledge or skills in trading.
There are so many successful person/business that starts with small capital, and made it big due to their knowledge and skill.
105  Other / Off-topic / Re: Does exercise before and during trading activity help ones chance of good profit on: May 22, 2024, 08:30:58 PM
If it would help you focus and be more active or clear your mind, then maybe it could help you have a higher chance of getting a good trades.
But exercise really helps me reduce stress and clear my mind sometimes, I never really thought that it could help on trading.
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is it still to Invest into meme coins? on: May 22, 2024, 05:15:43 PM
In crypto it would always be best to DYOR, decide for yourself don't rely on others because it is your money that you would invest on it.
Don't expect much from meme coins most of them are just made for quick profit, a pump and dump project or worst is being scam project.
Being an investor/trader in crypto we should learn to decide on our own, we are risking our own money we should take responsibility for it.
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is it still risky to Invest into Altcoin now? on: May 22, 2024, 12:49:37 PM
Altcoins are being used for quick profit, as OP mention we could see it being pump and dump in a short period of time, this kind of strategy isn't new in crypto in fact there are so many groups who pulls this kind of strategy they are known as signal groups.
This group would use their influence to move the price of the crypto that they want by telling their followers to buy and sell it at a certain price.
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are the good days for meme coins gone forever ? on: May 21, 2024, 11:21:01 PM
We are talking about the whole meme coins here not just one but all of them, surely there would be new that could rise up again.
It is not like all of them are gone, some are still in the list of the top 100 crypto so we just need to wait for it.
And this is crypto currency we should be aware that some of them takes time before it rise up again, but we should also be aware that some might not make it to rise up again instead they could continue to drop down or be gone on the market.
109  Other / Off-topic / Re: If you found a new way to make money playing games, would you tell your friends? on: May 21, 2024, 10:40:40 PM
Yes I would share it with my friends, I want my homies to success too, why would I keep it secret to them if I could let them join me.
We could enjoy playing games while earning, I want us all to be successful.
This kind a reminds me of Axie infinity when my friends and I used to play together, and guide each other to win most of our match.
We would be watching who ever is playing and guide that to which card or combo should be used.
110  Economy / Economics / Re: Disregard false religious teachings and invest for the future. on: May 21, 2024, 09:05:56 PM

I value religion and I'm not against it, but this post is concerning those who are religious and allow it to affect their mode of thinking, most people blindly believe in false teachings by some religious leaders and think what they believe on would favour them without putting effort, well I don't doubt that miracle happens but there are people who are too relaxed and put little effort towards making investments now to make their grey days work free and more easy.

I've overheard some false spiritual prophets mislead their audience, saying that Cryptocurrency is demonic and it's the money  created through the government to mislead people to hell and that according to the holybook a general currency would be created and used by those who have the mark of the beast bla bla bla, all these are just blind informations used to mislead people I believe there were people in the stone age or time when cowries were used who would never believe fiat money would be used in the future and would be very shocked right now if they were present, so why are people still shocked and confused as the money system is now evolving to digital currency which is Cryptocurrency, which has many assets for investment especially Bitcoin.

I just hope those misleading their audience from making investment would read this place in the picture above, in their holy book (Ecclesiastes 11) where it talks about investing in different places cause you never can tell the bad luck they could have, alot of people missed an opportunity to invest in Cryptocurrency, Bitcoin especially cause they thought it was a scam or demonic but they were very unlucky to miss an opportunity to acquire wealth. Their are other people only depend on one source of income forgetting that things could go wrong and they'll be brought down to zero financial level. I'm not saying Bitcoin is the only investment option right now but people should spread their investment in different areas not only depending on office jobs, and most importantly avoid being misled by their religious leaders.
It is up to those who listen on what they would believe, in crypto it is always best to DYOR don't let others dictate your move or you would just be used to gain profit for pump and dump groups.
It is up to us on how we would see their advice or beliefs, cause for me everything that is in the picture is true.
We need to spread out our investment don't just rely on single source of income or investment, be prepared so that if something bad happens you have a back up.
111  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why use decentralized bitcoin in a centralized way? on: May 21, 2024, 07:21:05 PM
Pardon me if I am digressing, I am still in the learning process.
I have been reading about  Bitcoin since i joined this forum. I learnt that decentralization is a unique attribute of Bitcoin. And this attribute permits bitcoin users to have total control over their money and be their own banks.

From my research recently, I have come to realize that a lot of bitcoin users are still stuck with the traditional idea of saving money with a central authority. Importing this idea to a decentralized Bitcoin, has led to the invention of bitcoin banks, exchanges and custodial wallets. Now, as the day passes, more bitcoiners are becoming centralized.  Is there a club or group of only people who uses bitcoin the Satoshi way, I will like to belong here.

Some are using the centralized wallets or exchange to hold their crypto, in order to save up fee when they want to trade it into Fiat, or earn by staking it, but we should always remember "Not your keys, not your coin".
If we don't have full control of it, then it is not ours and the risk to be hacked or something is always there, so it is better if we would put it on our own wallet.
I do not want to use bitcoin the centralized way, I want to have total control of my coins and be my own bank. Is this difficult to achieve? Are there prices I have to pay or is everyone eventually moving to the centralized way?
To be honest it is really easy to achieve you just need to have your own wallet, which is not part of any third party or exchange.
112  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What should newbies do in trading? on: May 21, 2024, 03:39:32 AM
They need experience, knowledge and patience.
Everyone needs to Learn first in order for them to earn, they should start of with demo account or small amount, don't rush things or jump in with high amount you are trading not gambling know the difference.
Watch some video guides or read some stuff so that you would know more.
113  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How has Satoshi's identity never been revealed ? on: May 20, 2024, 10:15:07 PM
Satoshi Nakamoto created Bitcoin which gave anonymity to it's user, with that in mind do you think the person(s) behind the pseudonym couldn't provide it for itself?
Criminals got caught because of their mistake, and I think Satoshi didn't make any mistake that could reveal the true identity behind the pseudonym, maybe that is also the reason why Satoshi decided to leave after successfully creating Bitcoin.
114  Economy / Economics / Re: How to improve your condition? on: May 20, 2024, 08:23:48 PM
Well, every other person seems to be saying that it is your fault that you are poor, improve your condition yourself, but no one tells you how to improve your condition when you are living in a country where there are places where you have to pay tax on even breathing. How to improve? How to make money? How to get rich in a rising inflation?

I belong to a country where jobs are non-existent, offline work is not something that can earn more money with less work or even with more work, it has become very difficult to earn a living with dignity. Online jobs are not allowed in our country, especially trading, so my question is, what job can a person do and improve his condition?

I have heard from everyone that it is not your fault to be born poor. Still, it is your fault to die poor, so my question is after so many restrictions, how can you survive without any opportunities or become rich and how can it be your fault if you are talented and well-educated and you don't have people to bribe or recommend? You are not given a chance anywhere to show your ability and any work that is online can't be done because your government doesn't allow you and if you do it, all authorities and forces will fall behind you.

Regards
SK
You have internet access, you could do more with it use it to learn then earn.
Government restrictions? cryptocurrency has been fighting it for so long.
If you want to improve you need to change your habits, the way you think and make a move don't just think about it, take action to make it happen.
You are already in this forum, so opportunity is already open for you, you just have to use it well.
115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC never for sale? on: May 20, 2024, 05:41:33 PM
It is all just an advice it is up to us who holds or owns crypto if we want to sell it or buy more.
For me I don't really believe or take an advice from celebrity or famous personalities specially those who doesn't really have a knowledge on cryptocurrency.
116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What need to follow to play the stress free gambling game on: May 20, 2024, 04:53:21 PM
In order for me to enjoy gambling I would only play with the amount that I could lose, so that I wouldn't be stressed on whatever outcome it would bring me.
Just stick to the amount that you could afford to lose, this is the best way to avoid being stressed, if you are already winning learn to control your emotion and stick to the same amount that you are betting, there are gamblers who lose control after they win or lose a certain amount of their capital.
117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do people truly risk their money on bets for profit? on: May 20, 2024, 03:30:53 PM
Even if we are gambling to enjoy, relax or for fun entertainment, we are still risking to gain profit or to win.
We couldn't deny that profit would always be part of the reason why we gamble.
118  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Memecoin Gambling verses Normal Gambling - which is more profitable? on: May 20, 2024, 12:52:53 PM
Hi everyone,

This is something I've been thinking about for a while now, I thought it wise to ask here to see what you all think afterall.

Anyone who truly understands what investing really is, would or will agree with me that investing in memecoin currently, most especially on the Solana and Base blockchain; have become a gambling on its own, I've tried both normal gambling, and gambling on memecoin on the Solana blockchain, and I can't really tell, which is more profitable.

What I know is that, I lost on both, I placed bets on some sports games, I lost most and won a few, and just few days, I decide to try Solana memes, I lost all the money I used as capital for buying those meme coins, I lost all same day.

So, I've brought a few questions..
1. If you are into Solana meme coins as well as; engage in normal gambling, which has been more profitable to you?
2. Assume you are not into any of the above, which would you prefer to get into if you are asked to choose one? And also explain why..

Gambling with crypto would be like double edge sword, it could lessen or greaten what you won or lose.
I never played or gamble with meme coins before, since I am investing on it to trade earn profit and control the risk, so why would I even gamble with it?
But whenever I gamble with crypto I don't usually care about the current price, I would just play with what I have, and compute everything after I am done playing.
119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Never borrow money to be able to gamble on: May 20, 2024, 12:42:55 AM
If you couldn't afford it then don't do it, I don't understand why people would try to borrow money just to do things that they surely couldn't afford?
Investment, gambling and even celebrations if you don't have enough money then just be contented with what you have, don't be greedy to have a bigger capital.
How do you even intend to pay it up if you lose, if in the first place you couldn't even afford it?
You would only end up being in debt and it would be a habit could even be a sign or start of your gambling addiction.
120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does destiny has influence in the amount we can win in gamble? on: May 18, 2024, 06:30:01 PM
For me it is just a superstitious belief, gambling is about skill and luck.
I don't really think that we should put destiny on everything, like how they are destined to win or lose, it is the outcome of our action.
I think no one is destined to be addicted or ruined their life, take their life or whatever, it is the outcome of our action we just want to have something to blame.
