681  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solution for bounty payments on: March 07, 2020, 07:31:05 PM
This is good because those project will be gain trust but I think this is very hard to happen since the project don't have enough fund to run that campaign. That's why they will still use thier shitcoins to pay us, because they don't need to pay bounty hunters in weekly basis.  And they don't need to allocate huge fund in Bounty which is not good for us because when we recieve the bounty this will be shitocoins or become a good coins.
682  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: YOBIT scam peoples in X100 ICO on: March 07, 2020, 07:15:57 PM
Like Yoda means - Yodollars many investor bought this at 15k sats or 0.00015 BTC and now this only trade at 176 says satoshi which is not good because this coins dump almost 15,776 sats that's many trader loses huge money here. And also many hunters scam here in Airdrop coins (Yoda) that automatically burn thier coins in telegram fast  fas ex robot.
683  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Need of the hour on: March 07, 2020, 07:00:22 PM
There are many new projects today and we should be wise in choosing which projects will really give us a good profit and help further the development of crypto currency. Because if we invest in projects that are useless, we will only lose our hard-earned money. So it is better to invest in repubtable coins because this is what gave us a huge profit especially when crypto currency started to be accepted by government in different countries and people have awareness here I'm sure we will aslo experience to be an early adopters become millionaire like what happen in 2017
684  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shit bounties are getting attention and hype! Stop doing these bounties! on: March 07, 2020, 06:43:53 PM
Of all the bounty campaigns you mentioned all the Bounty Manager (BM) is low rank - Jr member and not only that, they also have Neutral Trust.

Similar to kakatua promoting scam campaigns (plagiarized white paper)

685  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Corona is spreading in many countries!! Bitcoin is a solution for transactions on: March 07, 2020, 06:27:36 PM
This can help to prevent other people from using Paper Money (Fiat Currency) Especially when paying their bills and you have to leave the house to fall in line with those offices to pay.

1. Water bills
2. Electricity bills
3. Internet bills

And it is risky to our safety because we are exposed to many people where we are at high risk of contracting the virus. So hopefully the government has taken a step towards this.

~ Actually here in my country this is happening, We can now pay bills with digital money and crypto currency.
686  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to protect bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies from hackers. on: March 07, 2020, 06:00:04 PM
A week ago, I read about the safest wallets, I found out that the safest are paper wallet and hardware wallet. The wallets are offline but to make a transaction, you have to connect it online. I later read of a malware that can steal cryptocurrencies  from trezor or ledger nano in just 15 seconds which are the best hardware wallets.

So, we need to know how to manage our wallets too and have a strong antivirus to protect us from hackers and also we need to know the latest threats from cyber criminals so that we can protect ourselves away from them.
Virus can't infected our Computers if we don't click malicious link and other unknown applications (don't download).  And also always check our pc link clicking virus scan before connecting our hardware wallet to make transactions. And your right! We need to keek updated always in other ways of hackers to victim us. So that we will be safe always here in crypto currency world.
687  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever lost access to your Bitcoins? on: March 07, 2020, 05:41:32 PM
I experienced this when I was a beginner in Cryptocurrencies when I was curious about wallets and where to store my earnings. So when I found that it was safer to put it in a Decentralized wallet this is what I used.
Almost many of us have experienced this, losing a copy of our Private keys. So here I know it needs to be taken care of as this is the only way I can reopen my wallet again.
688  Economy / Economics / Re: World economy would benefit if all crypto work together on: March 07, 2020, 11:08:17 AM
If the crypto projects were working in collaboration more often, then the whole crypto community would achieve bigger accomplishments all at once!
Synergy would be on the side of cryptos if that were the case, we see these days many projects working on their own each of them having as result longer periods of releasing updates and new features.

It is time to find ideas and bring teams together and work smart rather than hard. With collaboration among team projects like Lightning network, bitcoin smart contracts, ETH scalability, and many features could be ready for the masses sooner and the global economy would have a big positive impact!

I definitely agree with you, a collaboration between crypto will push the cryptocurrency usage and adoption to new heights but as bright as this idea may seem, developers tend to work their way separately.  For reason of fame, and wealth.  Others wanted prestige so instead of working with the team of existing cryptocurrency, they tend to create their own in hopes to be well known.  Others just wanted the wealth that will be collected once their project succeed.

I think the first effective step is to educate government officials from all departments about cryptocurrency and blockchain, especially those that are not decentralized. Most conventional official thought is not only to minimize risk but also to eliminate risk. With the discussion, simulation and supervision, I think officials who in fact ancient people will understand about cryptocurrency and its benefits for the economy.

The adoption of cryptocurrency in many countries is hampered by legal issues from the government, the majority of which believes that crypto threatens the country's sovereignty and is vulnerable to being used to finance terrorism and crime. Various simulation results will also give an idea of the plus and minus points. So as to provide broad insights from all elements of society especially government officials who make and pass laws.
I strongly agree with this one. It is needed for the politicians to know what cryptocurrency is since some laws needed to be enacted and amended in order to legalize Bitcoin along with other cryptocurrencies. There may be a lot of concerns to be faced as mentioned but with the help of new laws and regulations with addition to a special department to oversee any crypto related issues along with the set of professionals to address these then the potentials it could bring especially in the growth of the economy could be welcomed.
689  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sending Bitcoin through SMS/Text Messaging? on: March 07, 2020, 08:26:48 AM
I was thinking,
If it is possible to receive a text message without any usage of internet connection, then this is also possible.
However, this might result to transparency or there should be a certain company/ies that will serve as a nationwide service provider for this to become possible. They are the one that will provide the tool that we will be using and the service assistance we need as a consumer.
I heard there are services that offers just that. I hope in our country there would be such a thing. If it would happen then the law should be amended so that it would further protect the sensitive information shared in their platform. This would be great to those people who have no internet access but have a good connection with their telecommunication provider.
690  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency can not replace fiat currency. on: March 07, 2020, 06:12:06 AM
I have seen so many posts about emerging cryptocurrency, and they think that someday it will take over our current system, or it will replace our fiat currency, which is really impossible, yes cryptocurrency is such an excellent currency especially the bitcoin, cryptocurrency keeps on being more prominent and more significant. Still, I think it is not enough to replace the fiat currency. It will be hard for the government to do that.

It will be hard for us if we use our cryptocurrency as our standard currency, the volatile currency will not be useful in real life; only that money is only suitable in real life. Not all individuals are really used in technology, so how could they handle their money if they are not familiar with the technology.

There are still some rural places in this world, so it will be hard for them to adopt the new system if this will be implemented in the future, which I hope won't happen, and even those person in provinces will also get mad if those things happen.
This is true but as time goes by the volatility of a particular cryptocurrency goes down as it accumulates a lot of volume as long as they can keep up with the demands of the users. Though even though it happens, I believe that it would not replace fiat because each of them, fiat and cryptocurrency, have its own uses and advantages. Also it is a good thing having a lot of choices in transacting and not be limited to fiat alone.
691  Economy / Economics / Re: Countries and their own cryptocurrency! on: March 07, 2020, 05:00:24 AM
The truth is that it is not only nation’s that are looking forward to having a cryptocurrency of their own, even organizations/companies will all try to create their own cryptocurrencies/tokens in the future, that means we should be ready for a lot of them. There are banks that have tried to create their own cryptocurrencies, like JP Morgan coin that is still a prototype.

The way I see it, if one bank should release it’s own cryptocurrency and people starts buying it, other banks will also like to do the same. And in areas like real estates, they might create tokens as well that investors can buy, something that shows ownership.

There is nothing in common between the national digital currency issued by the government and other cryptocurrencies. The digital national currency will be backed by state assets , so it will not be as volatile as the rest of the cryptocurrency. But there is a negative side to this - it will be centralized.
I think that's the point of having national digital currency tho i.e. to be centralized and easier for the government to control the said cryptocurrency. But I think the common this is that they both use blockchain technology. Though this would a massive experiment and implementation on their part since people would not use it if there are no real benefits they can get and would prefer to use Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrencies that have the features that they don't offer so it really is a challenge.
692  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Assess your gambling addiction level. on: March 07, 2020, 04:37:41 AM
I am around in levels 1 to 3 LOL. Though in a sense when I started to put my money to gambling I would not stop even I profited a lot and ending not winning at all. Though I'm prepared not winning anything once I deposited my money into gambling. I only gamble with money I am prepared to lose since anything other than, I have something to make use of it.
693  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin ready for world wide 1 currency? on: March 07, 2020, 04:04:20 AM
Nope. Definitely not ready yet for a main currency. Could work well as a hedge though.

Also, I think people are afraid to hold physical cash due to the fear of it being contaminated, not fiat money in general. People could still transact freely through banks and through services like PayPal/Venmo/Cash App without risking their health.
I agree there are a lot of services that you could use to transact online. There are a lot of people nowadays sensationalizing novel corona virus that would make Bitcoin as a safe haven but it is not. This invalidates their reasoning of being contaminated and also there are way a lot more stuff to buy with fiats compared with Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency so it is not that practical and minor percentage of people knows cryptocurrency so that's it.
694  Economy / Economics / Re: Start investing so you can quit your job and retire early. on: March 07, 2020, 03:59:38 AM
There are those who love their jobs and it is not all about money really. As for my case, having my job while doing Bitcoin would be a nice idea along with some business ideas that I want to venture. But to those who aren't happy in their own jobs then this is a good idea worth considering and especially if the pay aren't that sustaining enough to you and your family.
695  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reputation at stake will you stop gambling on: March 06, 2020, 09:02:33 AM
i always Hate seeing politicians in news that gets involved in Gambling because it looks like they are also gamble the future of their people.

as i believe that once a gambler will always be a gambler and having this attitude will also apply in their administrations.
so if i am to vote?i will never vote a Political person that involving in this kind of activities, this is my stand and will always be.
Me too. It really reflects to the image of the politician in a bad light if they are involved in gambling. In being a politician and able to manage their constituents effective, they should be certain to the projects that they want the people to benefit from so the money of the people would not go to waste since these matters aren't up to a matter of chances. Also if you want to clear your image then proving to them that you are not addicted and you have an excellent character despite of this but I honestly think that would be challenging task.
696  Economy / Economics / Re: I have Good news for bitcoiners on: March 06, 2020, 08:51:45 AM
I been watching the markets!

Capital Will Move in to Bitcoin the gold stocks equities Capital Will finally flow into crypgo currency!!

According to my analyze btc Price Will Go to 300k.

Right Now people moving their Capital Away from traditional markets in to crypto!

This is a good news but 300k would be way too long to be reached that's another level of milestone that Bitcoin could reach. If we talk about the time that it would take then that would be way too long. So I don't get the idea of saying that it would go to 300k just because of this news since it is very unrealistic for it to happen soon. I don't know how you analyze it but a person who's in the cryptoworld would not believe this because it would take a huge amount of volume and it takes time to have a solid market.
697  Economy / Economics / Re: Goverments creating digital currencies - Threat or Opportunity? on: March 06, 2020, 08:14:38 AM
I honestly think that it is an opportunity and I don't see any threats especially to Bitcoin since Bitcoin would still be patronized over some government-backed cryptocurrency due to the fact that it is not government-backed. It is an opportunity in a sense that people would came to know the existence of cryptocurrencies and hence would have a huge positive effect on Bitcoin since it is natural for them to come by with cryptocurrency then on Bitcoin. There is something that Bitcoin can give that there cryptocurrency can't that's why I think that it would not be a threat and they would not be willing to offer these features since it would made them lose control in their own cryptocurrency.
698  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BREAKING NEWS: Bitcoin Legal in South Korea! on: March 06, 2020, 08:09:52 AM
First Japan. Then India. Now South Korea.

Slowly and silently Asian countries are discovering the fact that the only way they can compete with USD/EUR is by legalizing Crypto aka BTC. They wont ever be able to take their individual national currencies to the level of acceptance USD/EUR has. Hence, they are banking on decentralized medium of exchange.

Question is When China?
China is a little stubborn and last time I heard news about China regarding cryptocurrency is that there are creating their own government-backed cryptocurrency. I think they don't like to be not in control since Bitcoin can't be controlled that easily. I don't know what motivation that could possibly change its mind. Seems like their neighbors are more open minded than they are. I expect that more would follow especially here in Eastern and South-East Asia where Bitcoin legalities are coming up one by one and countries who didn't ban nor support crypto are on their way to enact a law to improve the status of cryptocurrencies in their respective countries.
699  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Age restriction in gambling on: March 05, 2020, 04:27:16 AM
Have you known that there is an age restriction in gambling? But it is varied among the countries in the world. I have just checked in wikipedia that commonly someone can play gambling starting from the age of 15/16/18/19/20/21 years. It depends on where he lives, every country may have different regulation related to the age restriction. Below I classify some countries based on the age restriction:

Age 5: Malawi (Casino)

Age 15: Iceland (lottery)

Age 16: United Kingdom (Football pool, Scratchcards), Estonia (other), New Zealand (instant kiwi)

Age 18: Australia, Kiribati, Nauru, New Zealand (horse racing), Palau, Solomon Islands, Tuvalu, Vanuatu, Vanuatu, Albania, Austria, Belarus, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Faroe Islands, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, México, etc

Age 19: South Korea, Canada, USA

Age 20: New Zealand (Casino), Sweden (Casino), Japan, Nigeria

Age 21: Belgium, Estonia (Casino), Armenia, India, Lebanon, Macau, Malaysia, Philippines (casino), Singapore, Taiwan, Vietnam, Cote d'Ivoire, Egypt, Namibia, Niger (casino), Bahamas, Saint Kitts and Nevis, US Virgin Islands (casino), USA, Macau

Age 23: Greece

Source & more detail information: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gambling_age#cite_note-27
How surprising LOL. I expect that even though there are different age restrictions from one  country to another to be above 18 years of age but 5 is quiet sever tho. What can a children possibly understand what they are doing and also to be introduced into this kind of addiction at a early age is quiet sad if we think about it. Though if there are children playing then it might possible that some adult are just using them with no good intentions of course.
700  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can porn sites make bitcoin more popular or will it brings negative effects? on: March 05, 2020, 04:09:01 AM
I don’t think so because following that line of thinking then fiat would also be viewed negatively also. We should start to think of Bitcoin as a mode of payment like fiat and not to think of it as something detached since at its essence it is what the purpose of Bitcoin is i.e. to become a new way to transact. So I don’t think that if pron sites would start accepting Bitcoin as payment would have a negative impact on its image. It just shows how Bitcoin could give someone privacy and security.
