361  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How not having money helped my Bitcoin journey on: April 17, 2023, 11:15:09 PM
It all depends on how you see it,
Sometimes we just need to look at it at a different perspective and we could embrace it as an opportunity.
Even the saddest and darkest times of our life could be a blessing if we would look at what we learn and how we grow from those times.
So for me it all depends on how you want to see it, just like how OP see the blessing on not having money.
362  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can owning 1 Bitcoin make you rich in 2023? on: April 17, 2023, 10:03:19 PM
I came to know about Bitcoin as everyone here did it was from my friend. I was living as usual a life controlled by the government and its banks. I was not angry about my life, still I had the anger to be someone who can succeed.

I had somewhat good childhood but I always saw my parents struggling to get those fiat. It did saddened me as I saw my parents living a routine life and still did not enjoy it.

Now I know why they were always struggling to get the ends meet. I do not.know whether anyone here can relate to the same experience of my parents

When I understood the true potential of Bitcoin. I joined this forum as I am not someone who can spare the money required to invest for 1BTC.

So, my question is can Bitcoin give a life that I dreamt as a child. Is it possible to gain financial freedom? What exactly does financial freedom means in context of Bitcoin?

# Please ignore my typo and spelling mistake.

Thanks!
First I would like to answet the title of this thread: Yes owning 1 Bitcoin can make you rich, but it depends on which country or the average cost of living in your country would cost.
Yes crypto could give you a better life but it would always depends on your skill as a trader or investor.
I guess we all have different definition of Financial Freedom, for me Financial Freedom is when you don't need to worry about everything financial you are living a comfortable life where you could pay your bills eat food that you want and also have some savings and investments.
363  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do women engage in crypto trading on: April 17, 2023, 03:51:27 AM
It doesn't really matter what gender you are if you want the topic you would join in.
Trading and other stuff doesn't really required any gender in fact most of the job that are sought to be for men are also being handled by women.
We are in a generation where woman could do any job that they want any profession.
364  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you consider yourself as a risk taker if you buy bitcoin? on: April 09, 2023, 09:52:43 PM
When you are investing on something then you are already taking the risk no matter what it is.
I like to think that most or all of us are aware of the risk when we are buying or investing in crypto, but sad to say that there are some who doesn't really know or doesn't acknowledge the risk on investing in it.
Not everyone could control their emotion when it comes to trading or investment.
365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rigged Game on: April 09, 2023, 07:20:19 PM
There are many problems that are affecting online casinos either due to been illegal operations or fraud cases like

Fake Advert, Payment Problems, Spamming Gamblers etc

But one comes in mind that I can't get rid of, those that Rigged their games, I don't know if people actually know that some online casinos Rigged their games, like the Aztec casino that was labeled a scam casino for example.

My question is how can one know that their game is rigged? If you play over 20 games and you lose it all, no one will believe you if you say that their is something wrong with the platform because truthfully as a gambler you have to lose, so what way can you actually know that a casino game is been rigged?
This is actually a good question, cause most of the time when we are having a lose streak on gambling we would just think of it as it is.
Cause we are all aware that we could lose in gambling and it is just the odds, so I also want to know how and when do we call those gambling sites or their game as a rigged game?
And sometimes even if they aren't rigged we would feel like it cause we want to somehow blame something for our loss.
366  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Thought On Gambling Strategies on: April 09, 2023, 06:27:41 PM
I think people don't understand that there is no strategy in gambling. Gamble but consider your spendings on it as an entertainment expense. Got luck on your side and won? Good. If you don't you still had fun.

There are different types of people in gambling some of them are in it for fun and some are in it for the profit.
When you are gambling for fun you don't seek any strategy you play how you want it and how you'll maximize the fun.
When your on it for profit you would seek for the best gambling style or management to gain from your capital.
We are all aware that using a strategy or method on gambling would burn you out on the long run.

368  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why I might consider selling my Bitcoin. on: March 28, 2023, 11:23:17 PM
I have been in this forum for some time now and becoming a bitcoin trader didn't interest me. I have been attracted to the idea of keeping my coins for a long time and selling it when it reaches my target. I have decided not to sell any of my coins until the bull run season no matter the pressure from any corner. But recently, I was just reasoning about my bitcoin holding because where a man's treasure is where his mind will be when a question dropped into my mind; What can make you sell your bitcoin? I thought about it and I came up with these few points.

Health Issues: Health is wealth, which means without health a man is not wealthy. If there is any sickness that needs money for me or any member of the family to seek medical help, I might decide to sell some of my bitcoin holding to cover the bills. It is only the living that can enjoy the benefit of any investment.

Loss of source of income: A loss of a job or business might force me to sell some of my holdings if I exhaust all my savings. I and my family needs to be alive to enjoy our investment, so we need food and other basic needs to survive. it will be painful but it will be better than begging or taking loans.

Business opportunity: Many people in my country are migrating to developed to seek better employment opportunities. Many of them are cheaply selling their properties and businesses. If I have the opportunity to buy a cheap house or business, I might decide to sell some of my bitcoin because the profit from the business will help me to buy more bitcoin in the future. House rent is expensive in my country and it is really taking a large chunk of my income. If I own a house, my house rent can be used to buy more bitcoin.

Unfavorable government policies: If the government of my country decides to ban the holding or use of bitcoin, I might be forced to dispose of them. I will not want to be hiding from law enforcement agencies or risk being arrested. I don't wish this to happen but if it does, I will have to take that hard and painful decision.

Migration: My earnings only permit me to save a little amount that I use to invest in Bitcoin. If I have an opportunity to secure a higher-paying job in another country ad I have to finance the travel with part of my bitcoin holding, I might sell some. I higher paying job means more investment in bitcoin.

Higher Education or Skills: If there is an opening for promotion in my organization and it requires getting a higher degree or specialized skills, I might consider selling part of my holdings. This is because such a promotion or job bring higher financial reward which can enable me to buy more coins.

In summary, there are just two broad reasons that will make me sell my coins, first emergencies such as sickness and loss of a source of income, and better opportunities that will give me more financial backup to buy more bitcoin.

Well said I think most of us have felt those reason before.
For me it was health issue and Loss of Source of Income,
So far those are the only issues that I've encounter, or felt with crypto on your list but, I want to feel the Business opportunity that you've mentioned on your list that is one good reason to sell my crypto I know some people would sell their house for crypto but if I have enough crypto to buy a house I would do it without a doubt.
369  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Has Taken Me To Perfection, Houses And Cars Have I Reached? on: March 28, 2023, 05:34:06 PM
Congratulations OP, I know many of us here in the forum feels the same way.
Bitcoin or crypto help us when it comes to our financial status, we might not be like other's who already achieved those things like house and cars but somehow we still feel like we achieved something by being part of crypto industry.
370  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 1$ per day crypto investment plan any good ? on: March 27, 2023, 09:42:33 PM
It is a great idea if you could keep it up,
But also remember that this is an investment not a quick rich scheme like most of newbie's expect it to be.
For me it is better this way because you are constantly investing for your future and it doesn't feel heavy on your end of course for those who are earning enough.
371  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What other ways are available for purchasing Bitcoin? on: March 27, 2023, 05:40:07 PM
If we couldn't use our banks to buy Bitcoin then I think using other online wallets to pay for it.
P2P would also be a good way to purchase crypto or you could also use Bitcoin ATM machine if there is one at your location.
372  Other / Off-topic / Re: What was the best memory of your childhood ? on: March 26, 2023, 09:31:21 PM
No Bills, more time of sleep, stress-free, could sleep on the couch and wake up in my bed.
But for real I guess it would be the time that my family is still okay and we would watch some disney cartoons every weekend all of us sleeping in the living room while watching it.
For me those are the best memories that I have with my family.
373  Other / Off-topic / Re: Gambling has done more harm to our youths than good...how true is this? on: March 26, 2023, 07:39:08 PM
For me it would always depend on how people would take it.
On my opinion there are two kind of people the one who takes it positively and the one who would take it negatively.
The other one would see it as an experience and learn from it, while the other one would just blame everything on it.
So whatever we do even if it's not gambling it would always depend on how we view it.
374  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Bitcoin changed my life on: March 25, 2023, 08:03:42 PM
Well it is true you should surround yourself with people that motivates you to bring out the best in you.
I am surrounded by those people before and it shows a great result but I become busy and distant to those people, found new set of friends and sad to say those friends might be good to be around for fun but they doesn't motivates me like how my old crowd of friends do.
I am trying to focus more on growing so I am trying to distant myself again to those who doesn't motivates me or inspire me to grow.
375  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thanks to bitcoin on: March 25, 2023, 06:32:38 PM
The world economic challenge is getting worse as the day counts, and I'm still thinking if their were to be no bitcoin how would people cope with all the challenges in this modern world. Bitcoin has really come through for people of this days in different way and in different countries.
In some countries where they have serious unemployment challenges many people have engaged in bitcoin to invest and into other aspects of bitcoin, just imagine if their were no bitcoin how will the common man invest the little he or she has. If there were no bitcoin I know their are investment people can go for but it will be something that the rich and middle class can afford to invest. In bitcoin the rich, poor and middle class can go into it, this is to say bitcoin is for every body.

With the recent challenge in Nigeria where the resigni of their currency has caused scarcity of flow of cash which is really affecting the citizens, I know bitcoin will also make a good contribution in this case because lots of young people in the country are engage to bitcoin.

In different occasions of economic crisis in the world bitcoin has always been there to play a good role. Thanks to bitcoin for it existence in this difficult time of life.
If cryptocurrency doesn't exist I also wonder how I would be earning extra money.
I am an employee and at the same time a crypto investor, crypto has been and still helping me financially. It has been my way to earn more and have a little savings, so if it didn't exist I think I would be just an employee like most of the people I know.
And maybe I wouldn't meet the people that had help me a lot in my life.
376  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Crypto: The World's Greatest Scam" (youtube) on: March 25, 2023, 03:42:33 PM
LOL, I remember when I was knew in cryptocurrency I used to doubt it.
And as time goes by and I learn more on how things really work I found it funny when people or those who says crypto is a scam in general not just shit coins or HYIP in crypto like cloud mining and Ponzi Schemes, but also those cryptocurrency that proven their worth for a long time and still in the industry.
I think they don't really know much that's way they keep on saying that it's a scam.
377  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you feel bad while paying with BTC? on: March 24, 2023, 09:55:10 PM
Hello everyone!
Recently I was thinking about BTC payments and I believe that the system is moving towards bitcoin adoption and paying with bitcoin. And it's great!

But the problem for me is that anytime I think about paying with BTC I feel somehow uncomfortable. I always remember the guy who spent 30+ bitcoins on pizza and now these bitcoins are worth a fortune. Like I don't want to be this guy and pay with an asset that WILL go up in price. It feels like you paying more for the product from a future perspective.

What are your thoughts about this? Personally, I usually try to buy with stablecoins if I have some, it just feels more natural for me. I don't want to touch my BTC while the market is still bad.
I think it would depend on what we paid for, because for me if it is something that we really needed at that time and we don't have any other option left then there is nothing to be sad or feel anything from it.
I paid with crypto so many times before for my internet connection or mobile data but I didn't regret it because I am using it to learn more and earn in crypto back then.
378  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying cheap is best formula on: March 23, 2023, 05:37:33 PM
This period do not encourage trading or investment but at the same time when price is down is good opportunity to buy cheap and when its explode you will gain it. Nothing is lost in bitcoin, those holding for long now are the great benefactors but if you buy this period is more safer.

If I have money now, I would buy half of bitcoin because in next three months it will double the current price. This is real because it always occur this way after 5 years remember in 2011 and 2017 from the market charts and caps. And this year will break more even.
Yes the best formula is to buy at cheap price, but the problem is when and how much is the cheap price.
But as much as I believe that the price would go high there is no guarantee that it would really happen, just because of the past events we couldn't be sure that the history would repeat itself.
379  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dream of buying a bike with Bitcoin came true thanks to Bitcoin and my parents on: March 23, 2023, 11:22:56 AM
Congratulations on your achievement OP.
Having a supportive parents is a huge blessing and I know not everyone had experienced it.
I was also happy and proud on my first Bike it was also from my crypto earning and I know how you feel, enjoy it and you deserve it you earned it from your investment.
380  Economy / Speculation / Re: Dare to take such gamble? on: March 22, 2023, 09:53:54 PM
I was scrolling my page on Twitter as usual and I saw this post from a crypto guru, I don't know him but many people do say he knows how the market works. He put up a gamble worth of 2million USD, open to anyone who doesn't believe that Bitcoin will reach 1 million dollars 💰💰💰 in 90days, with the way he has been right with past predictions, this thread is making some noise on Twitter, but honestly, I found this prediction to be impossible, maybe I don't see what makes him believe that this is possible.

*My question for you*

Will you dare take such a gamble if you have the money? 🤑🤑🤑
Yup I would take that dare if I have the money for it.
It seems like a joke, the current price and even the ATH is so far from hitting a Million Dollar mark.
This joke reminds me of McAfee's prediction and vet that he will eat his own d.
