61  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: cruel level of addiction, causing harms and still keeping it up on: March 25, 2024, 05:26:40 PM
Gambling addiction are of different levels I guess Sad

And this one that I just witnessed is likely the most cruel one.

I have seen gamblers who are addicted to gambling fighting for their lives to stop or reduce their gambling activities but they can't, obviously they are addicted to gambling and struggling with it.

But for the first time I happened to see someone who is a gambler and he was harmed because of gambling severally, fully in financial distress but instead of him to calm down and try to avoid what's harming him so badly, even after losing everything, he is still so desperate to continue.

The way I am looking at him, he is behaving unstable, as if he is now mentally derailed, he can communicate but gambling is the next thing he want to do, this have cost him is home, business and family.

Where I am confused is that why won't he stopped already? Those that are addicted to gambling that i knew get to this same level of losing everything and they make a U-turn in the end, what is keeping him imprisoned ? His mind? or he is already crazy? Or even a spiritual attack?
Some people just couldn't quit or break away from their addiction.
Not everyone could go back to their normal life after being addicted to something, I saw some who could restrain their self for some period of time, but they would eventually come back to their addiction.
62  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Always check the deposit address on: March 25, 2024, 12:51:34 PM
This is not just for gambling, but for evey transaction that we would do in crypto currency.
Honestly I would always double check the address even if I just copy paste it to verify if it is accurate before sending it out.
I've been doing this because I once sent out money to the wrong address I thought that I already copied my friends address, but it turns out to be my gambling accounts address.
Good thing that the address that I've accidentally sent out the money was my account I just need to pay for more fee.

64  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you won a bet with your last cash? on: March 23, 2024, 11:06:01 PM
There were times before when I lose a huge amount I would put all the remaining balance of my gambling account in one bet, and aim for a high multiplier.
There are few times that I had won but since the amount is still small and I feel like I already lose everything even if I won the first bet with high multiplier I would bet it again to try to see if I would still get lucky the second time.
As far as I remember I never really got to be so lucky to win the second time whenever I aim for a huge multiplier.
65  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling until you go totally broke on: March 23, 2024, 09:15:21 PM
I think those who are so addicted to the point that they would risk everything to enjoy their time and wouldn't care about the future, are those who always have someone to support them when things go wrong.
They are the ones who grew up having someone who would take care of them when they did something wrong or someone who would cover up for them.
If you want to help those kind of people then you shouldn't just give them out money for free let them earn their own money, help them by introducing them to any part time jobs that they could to survive.
66  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where is the fun when you lose your money? on: March 22, 2024, 08:29:32 PM
Hi community,

When we make a bet and put our money on the line, we may lose money, time, and even some daily tasks that we neglect, and the first goal remains to make a quick profit with the largest possible amount of money, but I do not know why some people consider bets to be more  for fun  and a way to spend time than to win money.

Personally, I would consider it fun when my budget is much greater than my losses or when I gamble with someone else's money, and this is something I would not do if I had no benefit in it.

I think there are those who agree with me and those who do not agree with me, but it remains my personal opinion and it's an opportunity to share it with you on this topic.

So where's the fun when you lose your money?
For me the fun in gambling even when you lose, is when you are playing being thrilled and excited for the outcome.
Some of us risk money to have or feel those emotions and doesn't really care much about the game result.
For them it is not the result that is important but the time when they are playing having fun.
67  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin proven many times holders won't regret on: March 22, 2024, 03:20:55 PM
Bitcoin has shown it numerous times before, every time it falls down it would just take some time before it rise up and set a new record again.
But if you could trade then why not use it to accumulate more rather than just holding it, it is better to use the volatility of the market to earn more.
68  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your worst nightmare in a casino? on: March 22, 2024, 12:47:52 PM
I’m talking about the potential problem that you might encounter in the casino. Personally,  My worst nightmare that I don’t want to happened to me is when I hit huge jackpot while the casino investigate my account ask documents that will support my financial capability on gambling.

I’m only reading this issue on scam accusation but this is painful if happened to me like hitting max multiplier on slot games that result to 50K profit. Can’t imagine finally hitting my dream multiplier then casino seize my profit. This is just an abstract discussion so we are not really assuming that casino will do this especially the reputable casino.
Same here winning a huge amount and being questioned about documents, locking my account due to huge winnings.
I think the second one would probably be the nightmare for most of us gamblers.
69  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you stake it all put of over confidence in your club on: March 21, 2024, 08:24:04 PM
I was just like that when I was new in gambling, whenever I am confident with the match up I would stake it all or bet a huge amount.
I guess I stop doing it after losing on match that I had high hopes on, and learned to control or limit my bets even if I know that the chance of winning is high.
70  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Feelings on losing the match and the bet on: March 21, 2024, 03:29:09 PM
When the team that I truly support lose a big game I would feel down or sad for some time even if I don't have a bet on it.
But of course losing a bet and seeing your favorite team lose their important match would surely put everyone feeling bad about it.
one thing is for sure no one wants to see their team lose on big events.
71  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is not place to make money is place to lose it? on: March 20, 2024, 08:25:59 PM
It depends on how you would use it, some would use gambling to earn by being the house not the player.
Only few could survive or make a living by being a player or gambler.
Some also consider gambling as a place to enjoy or have fun, thrill and excitement.
Not everyone who gambles are aiming for profit.
72  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is It Time to Buy More BTC? on: March 20, 2024, 03:21:57 PM
I've seen this question or been asked about it so many times since Bitcoin drops down after hitting it's ATH.
Is the dip or price drop our last chance to buy it at a low price?
For me there would always be a price correction whenever the price jumps high, most of us are expecting it to go back up again and climb higher, but we don't know when would that start.
73  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not a quick rich and get poorer investment. on: March 19, 2024, 05:26:40 PM
Bitcoin investment is an investment you start early and take time to grow, discipline, monitor with patient to enable your target of investment excel and you can only make this investment when you patiently elongate it to enable you flourish well to the extend that when you harvest your profit from the investment it will still be progressing and not when you invest in six months time and you are inquisitive to get your profit in eight months time its wrong and getting patient to achieve what you invest is a good helping hands for future and at least when you invest in six months time you get your profit in one or two years or more for your effort to be reasonable and bear in mind that Bitcoin is not altcoin that can be hype or where many altcoins are built based on the basic structure provided by Bitcoin, Bitcoin cannot not make you poor when you know what you are doing and is more valuable and can make you rich when you wisely trade in futures.
People just need to know that trading and investment depends on how they manage their funds.
If they couldn't manage it properly or doesn't know what they are doing then the outcome is almost certain that they would only lose in this field.
Investment and trading couldn't make you rich in just a short spam of time it takes time to learn and surely it would take some time and experience to earn from it.
74  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When is best for a player to draw the line? on: March 18, 2024, 05:28:38 PM
Just for discussions and ways to educate or share knowledge with ourselves when and how to draw the line when gambling,  because for some reasons, some gamblers have arrived at unstable realities because of the lack of stoppage time while gambling so let's talk.
When do you stop?
Some stop gambling immediately the record a big lose, while others continues when they lose with hope of recovering.
Some other gamblers stop playing when the win they first few games, while other continue to chase the loses, and technically ww can tell in accuracy when this things happens, but when is the best time to stop gambling and take a break?

1-when you lose?
2- when you win?
I set up my break when I reach the amount that I am aiming or I loss the amount that I deposit.
Before I gamble I would set up an amount and when that amount has been reach I would stop and take a break.
If the amount that I deposit has been loss then I would also stop and take a break, I wouldn't deposit again in order to gain back what I loss.
This is also the reason why I only gamble what I could afford to lose, so that I wouldn't regret losing it and I wouldn't force myself to win it back.
75  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If we lose in gambling, what do we need to do? on: March 18, 2024, 03:24:15 PM
~snip~

I also lost money because I lost on gambling, but maybe not that much. But I know there are people who spend a lot of money for gambling. In your opinion, what should we do if we have lost a lot of money on gambling? Do we keep gambling to win so we can cover up previous losses? or stop and work normally and leave gambling? Or do you have other suggestions?
Whenever I lose a huge amount of money from gambling I would take a break for a while (couple of weeks or months).
I don't try to risk more just to win back some or recover, it would only make it worst.
Whenever I deposit money to gamble, I already accept the fact that I could lose it all.
Gamblers also need to accept the risk or losing, it wouldn't always be profitable for gamblers, we couldn't win all rounds in it.
76  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Still Dead? on: March 15, 2024, 05:30:46 PM
When did Bitcoin died?
Everytime that Bitcoin drops down in the past people would tell this to create FUD for the newbies, but let's be honest here Bitcoin never died it just had its ups and downs.
For me it is normal for every assets or currency to drop down from time to time.
77  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 4 Years ago people laughed at me bcz of THIS on: March 15, 2024, 03:26:17 PM
People need to cash out during covid to survive not everyone could hold their investment at that time.
And most of us who had been here for long are already aware of the cycle, Bitcoin has shown it from previous halvings.
The price would drop so low and after four years ot would surely fly high and set a new ATH.
78  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I've projected my holding after this bull run. what's yours? on: March 15, 2024, 12:50:19 PM
I'm just here to ask you all especially those who are newly investors to this bitcoin investment platform like me that WHAT WOULD YOU DO WITH YOUR FIRST INVESTED FUNDS AFTER THE BULL RUN?
I will convert it to fiat and some to stable coins, wait for bear market to last and and invest back after a significant bear market. I will use the money I receive elsewhere for other things. But later I may prefer to use my bitcoin money to start a business but that has not come to my mind than to sell and buy back after massive bear market and make my children to inherit it.
I would also convert them into stable coin like USDT and wait for the price to fall down, I don't want to start a business since I am already busy with my work and other things, also I don't have a place and idea on what business to start even if I have a capital to start one.
I wouldn't take any from my investment or profit I would just reinvest it all in crypto again, since is still not enough to buy what I need so I would just continue to trade and accumulate more.
79  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do the juice Worth the squeeze? on: March 14, 2024, 08:27:43 PM
Hi,

As everyone knows the goal of betting is to get the largest amount of money , knowing that the risks do not change whether you bet a large or small amount, and sometimes the amount you bet with is your capital, and this drains you of your time and money, and perhaps your work and daily tasks.

Do you think that the benefits in gambling Worth the invest of your money and your time with knowing that your chances are Just 50/50?

Some of us gamble for fun or to relax, you should know that if you are playing gambling then you aren't invest, you are risking your money with luck.
If gambling is taking so much time from you that it is affecting your daily life then you should quit or take a break.
We couldn't really say if the profit from gambling is worth it if it is already taking up too much time from you that you couldn't even focus on other things.
80  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Making decisions while betting on: March 14, 2024, 05:36:06 PM

How do we regulate our emotions while betting and how important is it?

Only few could control their emotion when betting or gambling, even in games like pro gamer or athlete we could see them lose control when they have a match.
So don't expect it to be easy cause even those professionals couldn't control their emotions when they are performing or playing, it is normal to feel all that emotions when gambling.
