521  Economy / Speculation / Re: I hope this Bitcoin dip won't be deeper? on: November 10, 2022, 03:26:02 PM
Based on recent trend in Bitcoin, this is the worst year in crypto history and the year is not over yet. I was talking to a friend this morning concerning the current crypto trend and guess what? This dude is loosing hope already.

And I don't even know how to encourage myself to invest more in Bitcoin, is it right for me to go ahead and buy the dip ?
I am expecting it to get lower until the end of this year.
I guess I am just used to it that every Ber month or the last couple of months of the year crypto would go down due to the Holidays.
But it is a good thing for those who are planning to accumulate just like me so enjoy every season guys and take advantage of it as much as you could.
522  Economy / Economics / Re: Do your work. on: November 09, 2022, 06:14:27 PM
I am currently working but I already made some plans and I am just accumulating funds to start my own business.
I don't want to be an employee for the rest of my life I want to grow my own business.
I want to have more time for my family.
523  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you like commission job or salary base job? on: November 08, 2022, 03:22:39 PM
If I could only chose one then I would go with Salary base job since it would secure my expenses and I wouldn't be pressured on how much I would be earning since it is fixed.
Unlike in commission you don't really know how much you could make in the next cut-off.
But if you have some income other than the commission base job then I think it would be better.
524  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin payment implementing at the Bitcoin Island(BORACAY) on: November 07, 2022, 03:23:05 PM
This is really great even tricycle and small shops are accepting it.
Now that really makes it feel like a currency and not an investment tool.
I haven't tried that wallet and don't know much about it's fee when converting our crypto into Php
525  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: investment in bitcoin should be short term or long term. on: November 04, 2022, 02:23:53 PM
i am a newbie in bitcoin, and i plan to buy bitcoin,, and will invest in bitcoin, and i want to ask everyone? if investing in bitcoin is it better short term or long term??? but in my opinion, long-term investment is better, but what do you think?
I think it all depends on our goal some would prefer short term if they already gain the profit that they are aiming,
For me it is better to be  a long term holder specially if you would start accumulating on the bear market.
526  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is this not shilling but information sharing? on: November 03, 2022, 02:27:19 PM
Depends on the matter of video or blog and what’s been actually stated in it.

For example, it would be straight up shilling if they are focusing everything on investing into specific project or let’s  say a token/coin and then it would be clear that project paid them to do so. If they add the affiliate links or something then it should be taken way seriously.

However, one fact is sure, there are thousands and thousands of channels and blogs which will keep posting about the blog or video and they couldn’t really have filtering criteria for the same.

Yes I also think that it is all about the content of their video if they focus on shilling or just information sharing.
I think most of us are well aware of it or already know the difference between those two so we could easily know it is really information sharing or just shilling in disguise of information sharing.
527  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Faucet and Bonus Farming on: November 02, 2022, 07:55:08 PM
I have seen more than 2 casinos locking user accounts for this action, and is it really the users fault?

If the users claims tons of faucets or bonus is because the casino engine allows it, and if the casino is losing money with this action they should fix their code to avoid this problem and not steal users money.

The casinos sets the rules of the game, and if a user is smarter enough to find a way to make profit with those rules then they shouldn't block users withdrawals.

So, what do you think about this?
I think that the website should be clear on their rules it was their system and if there aren't any rules about it, then it would really be unfair for the users even though they abuse the system it was the result of the website being unclear to their rules.
528  Economy / Economics / Re: 5 things you should not do with your money to get rich on: November 01, 2022, 02:22:48 PM
5 things you should not do with your money to get rich or advance your lives

1. Don't spend without a plan

      - Many people don't care or just don't care about spending. They don't care if they have extra money or if they have money left over until
the end of the month. Then they will complain that they don't have any more money because they have no idea how and where they are
spending it. And how many times have you gone shopping or grocery shopping without a list, which ended up costing you more because
      you didn't have a plan?
Because if you want to save something or have some money, you should keep having plans when it comes to what you buy.

2. Don't brag about having a lot of money

     - This is correct because it is your money where you can do whatever you want to do with your money. But whether we admit it or not,
being arrogant is also the reason for handling or mishandling our money.

"2 things when you have a lot of money"

                      a. You make a new friend.
                      b. You have a close relative.

       - What do these two mean? When people know you have a lot of money, you are usually the one they turn to when it comes to financial matters such as borrowing, asking for help, and freeing up where you are always the best so on and so forth. But after all, there is nothing wrong if you are not forced and it springs from your will. In short, there is nothing wrong with helping, lending, or freeing.
It's just that others who approach become abusive because it's not their own money and they don't care about the money you spend or use, Because they think it's okay not to pay you. After all, you have a lot of money based on their thinking, this is a reality that is happening in our time today. But they don't know that you were forced to do that and they don't know how hard you worked for it before you got it. Then in the end you will realize that the money you lent just went to nothing and just went to useless things or vices. There are also people to whom you give money who don't care about you, what is your current situation, or something else. Because these people only think about themselves and their interests.

But you don't need to be greedy or selfish, as long as you always reach for a spring inside and from the heart so that it is not heavy on your will. And it doesn't hurt to be simple all the time. Also, you don't need to flaunt or show people that you have a lot of money because successful businessmen don't show off piles of money, they are just simple people with heavy pockets.

3. Don't always buy something that loses value

      - One of the major problems with what we spend over time is losing value or depreciating. Like you bought a phone or a car last year, but
I'm not saying that it's not a necessity, I don't mean it like that of course. What I want to convey is that you don't always have to keep up
with the trend, just because there is a new I phone that comes out, you will also buy such gadgets even if they are very expensive and it
will be a bit difficult to buy it, but it turns out that you are just forcing your own so you can keep up with the trend.
It's the same with the car because you'll need a down payment there, gas costs, maintenance, and other things that will be needed here
because if you don't do it, you'll surely sell it at a low value.

4. Don't waste money on useless things

      - Like most of us, there are still many addicted to spending on useless things. One of the good examples of this is that others may be
inclined to go with friends who only do happenings and you keep up with your troops knowing that they have a lot of money unlike you or
us which is not like that. Just like buying a high brand of coffee to drink in coffee shops just to be able to socialize and have a big time,
you might not lose or die if you reduce the time you buy this kind of expensive coffee brand. Because you know that your budget is also
hurting your pocket. And we know that there is also one that is cheaper and it's the same coffee, so let's just be practical for now. And
there are many other things that we can reduce the things that we spend money on for nothing.

5. Don't invest suddenly

     - In my experience, I have also participated in this type of investment without thinking immediately or doing research because I was just
carried away by the hype. It's just like the "Get rich quick" where your 1k$ will turn into 10k$ after 3 days, things like that. Just like before
the rise of cryptocurrency projects, there were a lot of them but in the end, they turned out to be scams, but I don't blame them all
because there are legit crypto projects and there are others that are just scams or shitcoins, this is just an example.

But I'm not saying that you shouldn't invest in crypto, I think we shouldn't make a hasty decision so that our capital doesn't go to waste.
Sad to say but been there done that,
And experience is really the best teacher I would make sure to avoid those things again in the future.
This post kind a hit me hard hope that I've read this a couple of years before maybe this could have change me somehow.
529  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it really possible to quit on these reasons on: October 31, 2022, 02:27:40 PM
You can when you won a huge amount
There's a discussion here of a guy who won a huge amount but added that he is quitting gambling is it really possible, anyone here have done quitting after winning a huge amount
I tried it before but it only lasted for a couple of months.
Eventually I came back since I have nothing to do back then and got bored.
You can when you lose a huge amount
This is the most popular reason to quit have you done this only to come back
I also experience this but like what I said before it only lasted for awhile.
You can anytime you want
Do you have the power to do it anytime that you want.

Yes I believe that I have the power to stop it since I have been out for so long now.
You have to when you're wife tells you to
I know a lot of guys who quit gambling for good after their wives tell them to, do you know of someone, or at one time you are one of them.

Just to be clear I think that this is just a motivation people doesn't really quit or change because someone order them to do so,
They do it because they want to, and in my case I did it to focus on my family.
530  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MY FIRST BITCOIN PURCHASE. on: October 29, 2022, 03:56:47 PM
It's been nothing but JOY through out yesterday for me, as I was able to officially buy my first Bitcoin for HODL. I have been really interested in cryptocurrency lately but had no single clue of how it really works.
I then met with a friend, not just friend but a very long time friend, who have been thriving in the crypto space for guidance, and he kept giving me series of web links to go study and get back to him when done.
This is one thing I'm not really good at, which is reading for long and even writing.
I tried twice but couldn't and kept going back to him to just summarize everything and show me how to start making a living out of Bitcoin just as he was doing, but he kept referring me back to the links he sent and each time he did, I really feel bad and thought he never wanted to help me.

Two months back I took the challenge and read all he gave to me and not just once but about thrice this time, got all I needed and went back to him, but on a different note and then he told me, "WE DON'T CUT CORNERS, TO MAKING A LIVING GENUINELY." I felt that really hard and one thing he always kept singing was that I always buy Bitcoin at every opportunity that I have and today I'm so glad to announce that I was able to buy about $60 worth of Bitcoin, glad the journey of a thousand mile has began on the 28 of October 2022, And I hope it leads to greater opportunity in the industry, as I'm willing to learn ways.

Please join me celebrate my little beginning as I hope to update the community about my progress.
Congratulations on finally being able to buy what you want.
Because of your post I remember how proud and excited I was when I first purchase crypto for investment.
It brings back all the fun memories that I had when I was just starting in crypto I invested on most of the investment scheme back then and learned the hard way.
531  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reasons Why We Prefer Online Casinos to Land-based Casinos on: October 27, 2022, 05:34:01 PM
My reason why I prefer online casino rather than Land base is:

  • Easy to deposit
  • Anonymity
  • Could play anytime anywhere

And of course the promotion bonus that we could get from them.
Even before pandemic I already prefer online gambling than land base casino due to those reasons.
532  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trading Bitcoin and crypto "could destroy your life", go to rehab hehehe on: October 25, 2022, 11:24:35 PM

In any case, I am very skeptical because this article appears to be an advertisment paid for by the Swiss rehab mentioned for cryptoaddicts. Also, they charge $90,000 per week to the people who lost everything in crypto? What will they tell you to battle the addiction? Trade stocks and bonds?
This part made me laugh they are charging people with a huge amount weekly for those who lost everything?
I guess they would also create some rehab about anything that could make you lost money in the future Cheesy .
533  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How important are exchanges? on: October 24, 2022, 02:32:33 PM
Bitcoins can exist without exchanges, but would you support the argument that the existence of exchanges are among the factors facilitating the popularity and accessibility that people have to bitcoins?

Yes crypto could exist but would it still be the same without exchange?
Do you think other's would still use crypto without the access of easily changing their assets into Fiat?
For me exchange played a huge role in crypto adaptation it played a huge part why other people came into crypto.
534  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you win so big on: October 22, 2022, 10:15:50 PM
As a responsible gambler, I know we don't let gambling change our lifestyle. If today is your luckiest day ever in gambling,on your first game you won the sum of $50 000.
First, will you quit the game immediately and withdraw all your funds or will you play for awhile because you are excited.

Second, will you use this money to upgrade your lifestyle i.e living big and showing off, even relocating to a better environment and forget about your old friends in your former neighborhood ? Or will you just remain quiet, happy and living a your normal way of life but investing the money into something profitable without telling anyone ?
If I win that amount I am sure that  I would continue to play but secure most of it to live comfortably.
I would first spend some money to celebrate with my family and friends then invest most of it into business or something that would be profitable in the long run to secure my future.
535  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency and Gambling on: October 22, 2022, 08:51:11 PM
Many people still think of cryptocurrency as gambling. While gambling relies on chance, cryptocurrencies rely on arithmetic and cryptography.

Given the parallels between cryptocurrency and gambling, this makes sense. Both are fast-paced, the value of crypto is unpredictable.

Cryptocurrency is chance-based, rooted in exceptional circumstances like influencer opinions, values might drastically change.

And both crypto and gambling (online gambling) are accessible all day and night.
I know some people who consider trading as gambling since they  have zero knowledge on that field,
And I feel the same way if I were on their place imagine putting up your money and waiting for the result if you would gain or lose it,
Doesn't even know what would happen next they would just base it on what they would hear or read.
536  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: What to do if your Ledger key have gone in the washing machine on: October 19, 2022, 07:37:01 PM
I have been hearing this rice trick for mobile device fell in water although I haven't found myself in the situation when I will put it into practice, I didn't know it will also work with ledger too.
I will keep this in my and also try as much as possible not to have a reason to get some rice. Smiley
It works on mobile phones since my cousin tried it before but you should make sure that it has been in there for a long time and it is fully dried or the phone would malfunction.
One of my friends tried it and was in a hurry to open his phone that he only put it on the rice for an hour so it didn't work.
537  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Split the prize or Reroll? on: October 19, 2022, 02:33:21 PM
Let's say you join a give away with other user and both have to select a number between 1 and 10, you go for 7 while he goes for 9. The winning number is 8.

If the prize is 0.1BTC what would you do? Split the prize and walk away with 0.05 or Reroll to gamble for the full prize?
I would just split the prize since it is already a good amount of money and I could buy so many things from that prize.
I don't want to be consumed by my greed anymore just like what happens in the past either it is in gambling or at trading.
I used to aim for a higher profit and end up losing instead of gaining.
For me it is more ideal thing to do than getting greedy because we make another reroll there's a chance that you don't get the rewards instead of getting the half there's an assurance already that you are one of the winners. But of course if you are a risky taker another game of all or nothing to win the game.
Actually if the closest number will win the full amount then the most ideal choice is to re-roll. Imagine if you roll number from 1-7, you'll be able to win the whole amount since you'll be the closest number to it. Also, if you roll another 8, you can still receive a half prize. The only way you'll lose if you re-roll is when 9 or 10 will be rolled on and that's like 8/10 or 80% winning rate on you.

But still, without knowing the full context as well as the condition of the giveaway, we cannot fully decide wether to split it or to re-roll.
Even if there is a 80% chance of winning there is still 20% chance of losing your profit because of greed.
So since it is a giveaway I would rather take the profit than to take the risk of not getting any from it.
Besides I think there is only a small chance to be lucky on winning on such giveaways so why not enjoy it.
538  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bear Market More Important Than the Bull Market? on: October 18, 2022, 11:01:56 PM
I think each Market season is important it just depends on each trader.
For those who wants to accumulate then they would certainly enjoy the Bear Market , But for those who wants to take profit those people surely enjoys the Bull Market.
So for us traders each market season is important it just depends on our goals.
539  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What problem does Bitcoin solve? on: October 18, 2022, 02:26:20 PM
For me financial freedom, letting us earn comfortable with whatever device we are using as long as it have an internet connection.
And I know some people who use crypto as their savings we trust it more than Banks and believe that it would be more profitable than letting our money sit on our Bank accounts.
540  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What efforts have you made to raise bitcoin awareness in your community? on: October 17, 2022, 10:17:20 PM
At first I was telling those people who are close to me about Bitcoin or crypto then some of them got into it,
But now I just put on crypto in my social media profile and some of the people that would add me would ask me about it.
Even my new coworkers ask me about crypto and how it works or how to earn from it.
