141  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe visiting a seer or spiritual house could make you win a game? on: February 01, 2024, 09:26:13 PM
Nope, I don't think that those would really help at all.
For me it is just a superstitious beliefs, it is like asking above for a help to win in gambling.
We just need to accept whatever outcome when we decide to gamble or risk our money.
I think they only do it to have more confidence on playing or lessen their nervousness.
142  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: stop the unnecessary blame on gambling whenever you get unlucky on: February 01, 2024, 06:40:24 PM
Those gambler just need to accept the fact that they loss, no need to blame or find a reason why they loss.
If they couldn't accept it then it is better for them to just stop on gambling because they couldn't accept the fact that they aren't always going to win on it.
They are blaming others because they couldn't accept their loss and wants to make it easier for them to cope up with it.
Instead of blaming just grow up no need to find reason, cause in the first place when they gamble they should already be aware that they could lose, and they already accepted the risk in gambling their money.
143  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You can not win if you do not risk on: February 01, 2024, 04:24:52 PM
Good day guys, how is the gambling industry helping you this period?

However I just want to say that in the game world gamblers are always there to bet and the important thing here is when a gambler can not risk he also can not win, true or false?
Many might still believe that a gamblers who's just gambling at the first day might end up winning w huge amount of money that he wasn't expecting but the truth is that as long as you stake on bet you have already risk your money, be it big or small.
Of course how could you play if you wouldn't risk?
Gambling is all about risk, if there is no risk then it wouldn't be called gambling.
Gambling help me to enjoy some time when playing, giving me thrill and excitement but sometimes those thrill and excitement of course comes with a price.
144  Other / Off-topic / Re: The use of mobile phones and a computer for forum discussions. on: February 01, 2024, 01:58:11 PM
What do you think?
It is a matter of preference, the forum is accessible from both your phones and computer, so use the one you are most comfortable with.
I agree with this I use both of it, I use desktop when I am at home and want to open multiple tabs on my browser, and use my phone when I am outside or laying at my bed.
For me it doesn't really matter what you use to access it.
145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wrong Moves With Your Bitcoin on: January 31, 2024, 09:27:20 PM

Made mistakes with your Bitcoin in the past...that you still regret or at least considered to be a wrong move especially considering the price of BTC these days? Three years ago, I got bored with the movement of Bitcoin so I look for other good alternatives which I can use to replace...unfortunately I decided to go for BTCV all in. And it was a big horror because two months after the price of BTCV dropped to just 30% to when I bought them...got no choice but to cut loss.

~Snip~
I think most of us had experience this and use it as an experience.
This is also the reason why I decided to spread out my investment or don't put all your eggs in one basket.
It also made me learn to cut loss or set up a percentage to take profit or loss in trading.
146  Economy / Exchanges / Re: All my savings on BKEX are gone. on: January 31, 2024, 06:18:49 PM
This is an example of "Not your Keys, Not your coins".
If you want to hold your crypto for a long term make sure that you own the wallet.
If you would use exchange or trading platform make sure that it is from a trusted and tested sites.
We are talking about money and investment here don't let your laziness be the reason why you loss your money, do some research before putting up money on trading sites.
147  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If a addict lives within, which method would you choose to help them on: January 31, 2024, 12:49:19 PM
It is hard to choose cause it would be different for each person, sometimes being soft and gentle would just get you ignored they would act like they are listening but they aren't really paying attention, on the other side being harsh and straight forward would make them realize how frustrated you are with them.
For me if you already given out some time on being gentle and they would keep on getting back to it, then it is time to be harsh and if they still continue to their addiction, then there is nothing you could do about it.
If they don't want to help their self there is no one else who could help them, no matter what effort you put up it would just go to waste, that is how I see it.
Action speaks louder than words even if they say that they want to change if they don't act it, it is all just words if they really want to change they would start even in small steps.
148  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Gold, land which better? on: January 31, 2024, 02:28:35 AM
It would depend on what you are looking for or aiming on your investment.
Bitcoin or crypto is good for those who could trade they could earn more compared to investing in Gold and land.
But if you want to at least wear what you are investing in then gold would be the best for you fashion and investment at the same time.
But when it comes to securing your future the best would be land, buy some property and build a house on it, if you already have one for yourself or your family then use it to fain passive income by letting people rent it.
149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why the rush to gain profit in crypto? on: January 30, 2024, 09:26:15 PM
People just need to accept that crypto isn't a shortcut to be rich in just a short period of time.
Earning money was never been easy and crypto is not an exemption you need to know so many things and understand how it works in order to succeed.
You need to learn first in order to earn so it takes time don't rush things.
150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paying with Bitcoin. on: January 30, 2024, 04:26:33 PM
It would depend on the transaction fee if I could save more on using crypto or Bitcoin then Yes I would use it, even if it means losing a chance to earn more in the future specially if I really need what I am paying for.
But if it would only be the same as paying with fiat and I do have fiat to pay for it then I would rather use Fiat than my crypto.
So for me it would depend on the situation.
151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You must have a source on: January 30, 2024, 01:46:20 PM
You must have a source of income if you must succeed in your holdings.

For the few years I have been into cryptocurrency, I have discovered that you can't hold till the right time if your don't have a source of income. Just imagine that you have a pressing basic needs like feeding or rent, then you don't have money  to finance it, you will be forced to sell your Bitcoin at a loss if you don't have a source of income outside your holdings.

Most people that have sold their Bitcoin holdings at a loss or at an average price actually have the patience but don't have the knowledge of how to hold, because a good holder must be aware that he needs a source of income for him to be able to consolidate to his holdings.

It has happened to me severally, I have been able to hold now, since I started working as a merchandiser with Guinness, I think most times, experience is the best teacher.
It is true you couldn't succeed in holding cryptocurrency if you don't have other source of income.
You would always take some from your holding to use for your expenses, so if you want to hold your crypto make sure that you could support your expenses without moving your holdings.
After all those holdings should be considered as your savings or extra money so it shouldn't bother you when the price increase or decrease.
152  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Everyone Calls My Child's Name Bitcoin. on: January 29, 2024, 06:08:53 PM
If Bitcoin is illegal in your country then you should talk to the people around you, but if not then you should be proud.
There are some people who doesn't even have investment or other source of income but you are earning more to provide for your family.
If you are afraid to give out wrong info about Bitcoin just give them the lay out of how you understand it and tell them that it is how you see it, and if they want more information they are free to DYOR.
153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin an opportunity like land on: January 29, 2024, 04:23:39 PM
In term of profit you might be correct but, land would only increase its value over time and that is for sure specially if you would develop it, unlike in Bitcoin there is a risk we couldn't be sure that it would only increase there is also a potential that the price would fall down.
For me if you want a secure investment land is much better than crypto or Bitcoin.

156  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin has never pass ATH before halving but it has always dip don't panic. on: January 26, 2024, 06:11:24 PM
Price drop before halving is like having a big market sale before an event start.
People have different point of view or opinion on it, some would panic and sell when the price drops down while other would just hold or accumulate more.
We just need to be prepared on what is going to happen in crypto before and after the halving.
157  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paying house rent with bitcoin is it appropriate? on: January 17, 2024, 11:12:13 PM
Glancing through the article https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-rent-agreement-argentina-landlord-tenant one would conclude adoption is striving in Argentina. Paying for a house with bitcoin sounds to me a mistake or lack of financial knowledge. Bitcoin is better than Fiat. Bitcoin increases in value and fiat faces inflation. Why then would one spend Bitcoin instead of fiat on a house rent which may expire in few years? Accommodating the Bitcoin can birth the person more money to pay his next house rent. But fiat wouldn't add any interest in the bank. Moreover the house owner will not hold the Bitcoin.

We all have different opinion, spending crypto doesn't mean that you are lacking on financial knowledge.
Some people see it as a currency while most of us see it as an investment tool, it all depends on how you see it.
To be honest I used to spend crypto like fiat before buying mobile load or paying for something.
I know that crypto or Bitcoin has a potential to grow but that doesn't mean that we couldn't use it as a currency.
158  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Know when to stop on: January 13, 2024, 10:25:42 PM
It is good to have plan whenever you gamble, some of my friends told me that whenever they would go out to gamble they would only bring an exact amount so that they couldn't continue and would be force to stop gambling.
It is good to have plan and limits on how long would you gamble, how much profit would it take for you to stop, and of course the limit that you could spend on gambling.
Remember to have self control and don't let the result of your gambling affect those who are around you, I know some people blame others who are around them when they lose in gambling.
159  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Drug (cocaine) addicts compromises gambling potentials on: January 13, 2024, 09:13:05 PM
My question>>>
* Is gambling really to be blamed about the laundry drug addict guy who engaged in gambling in order to gain more money and afford his drugs?
Because to me, he has been a drug addict before began to gamble and he strictly gambled consciencelessly just to make profit and buy himself this assorted unhealthy pills (drugs). So, I don't see anyway of gambling being responsible for his irresponsible reputations with his mentality of what triggered him to gambling and his inabilities to control his gambling.
Gambling is not the problem here; the guy was the problem, and he ended up getting himself into two addictions at the same time. They should focus more on trying to save that soul from destroying himself.

Let's look at it this way, assuming there was nothing like gambling, and this guy is already in a state where if he doesn't take those drugs, he feels like he is losing it and can't get control of himself.

What do you think will stop him from doing anything possible just to be able to afford those drugs? And the things possible included selling those laundry properties, as it appears that's the only valuable thing he has in his possession. It's just a matter of time, and he will definitely sell the shop off to sponsor his drug habit.
I agree with this, it is the person not the drug or even the gambling.
It is their own action that destroyed their life, if he didn't touch or get addicted to drugs there is a chance that he wouldn't be addicted to gambling.
People could change if they really want to, and for me it is all just an excuse that they are addicted to something and couldn't get over it.
They just need strong determination to move out of their bad habit, step by step it would surely be a slow progress but if they could do it from time to time, they could surely fix their life.
160  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you be worried or comfortable seeing your elderly mother gambling? on: January 13, 2024, 06:43:33 PM
If she couldn't control how much money she is gambling , then yes I would be worried about it, specially if it would affect their house. (Spending money that should have been for food, bills or for their younger kids)
But if it doesn't affect the house then she could enjoy it as much as she want, she just needs to remember her limit on how much she could gamble.
