261  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Success or Fail? - Talking about Gambling as a major income on: June 28, 2023, 01:16:39 AM
Let's just make it simple, there are people who are professional or gifted in this kind of things.
They understand it more than the average gamblers does it is not just in gambling you could say in every profession there are some who excel in their choice of field.
We couldn't really expect us to be as good as them just because we also do the same thing just think about it there are huge difference between a regular player and a pro player, I mean not just in gambling but also in other games as well, you could easily see the difference in skills and controls and that is why they are different from us.
262  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Advice when you are going a bit far in gaming and betting on: June 26, 2023, 11:34:20 PM
This is just the basics, but anyone should be aware of it:

Budget: set it BEFORE you start gambling and stick to it.
Have a break from time to time, it is important to let your brain stop and consider.
Avoid drugs / drink as much as possible, they will make you loose some control innevitably.
Seek help if you feel you are no longer in control. Make a phone call to a friend or go out and speak with someone.

Anything else anyone can think of? Like... read this post before gambling? Tongue
Have other hobbies be more active to lessen your gambling activities.
Set up a limit on how much or how long you could play, learn to quit when needed or when you reach your limit don't think about extending it just because you are winning or want to win back what you loss.
As much as possible hang out with friends who wouldn't consider or drive you into gambling.
263  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why People Still Gamble? on: June 25, 2023, 10:54:53 PM
People are saying that gambling is not good so nobody should involved themselves in it. Fathers/Mothers (parents) are shouting to their sons and sometimes beating them all because of gambling. If you are a gambler, the society sees you as a bad boy or person or a waste person in the family. Parents would be saying "look at your age mates, they are going to school and become a successful persons in the society, you are here playing gambling". They would even say, gamblers steal and thieves.
And really when you look at some of those boys they play Draft game morning till evening. Upon all these allegations against gambling. People are still Gambling. WHY? Is There Any Mystery Behind?
Gambling have an age restriction just like other vices, if you're underage you should really give up on it and focus on studying.
There is a reason why vices have an age restriction and it is because adults could control their self on it, I am not saying all adults and that is why we have those who we called addicted to it.
Just thinking about it even if those mature people could gets addicted and destroyed their future due to those vices what more would it do to those young ones who still couldn't stand on their own?
264  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Crypto coin Do You Gamble with the Most? on: June 21, 2023, 12:15:55 PM
Back when I was an active gambler I would choose the crypto with lowest fee that the site support or use.
I want to maximize the profit by paying with less fee when withdrawing or play more because of low fee transaction coins.
265  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who is to be blamed, the gambler or the betting agent on: June 20, 2023, 12:14:06 PM
For me they are both to blame on this circumstances,
The gambler wouldn't be in debt if he just walked away when he lost his own money.
And the agent should also be aware of the situation and evaluate it base on how much the gambler is earning and how long it would take for them to pay.
As an agent you should know if your gambler could really pay ot off before letting them borrow.
266  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you use a VPN on a casino, even if it is not allowed in their ToS? on: June 19, 2023, 10:06:56 PM
If it is against their ToS I don't see any reason why I would put my money or account in danger to use it.
If you don't like their ToS there are so many other casino out there so why not try other site that could provide you with what you are looking for.
267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Happy father's day to Satoshi Nakomoto on: June 19, 2023, 12:16:55 PM
Wellwe don't even know the real gender behind the pseudonym "Satoshi Nakamoto".
Who knows maybe it is a large group or even a woman just like to hide behind that name.
But we are all happy for the successful creation that Satoshi left behind for us.
268  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you blame someone for your gambling losses? on: June 18, 2023, 11:14:56 PM
Well honestly yes there are times that I would blame others for my loss specially if the game really needs my focus and alertness, for those kind of gambling I would surely blame the one's who would distract me of course not in a harsh way sometimes I would joke about it to make them aware that I need to focus on the game.
But in reality we all know that it is just a game of luck and we played it so we don't really have the right to blame others for it.

270  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would Bitcoin Be Badly Hurt if Binance Goes Down? on: June 16, 2023, 10:52:14 PM
Bitcoin or Crypto would surely be hurt whenever a big player or company goes down,
Just imagine how many traders are using it and we could assume some of them only got into crypto because of trading and it is their only trusted trading site, for sure some of those would quit while others would look for alternative.
The impact would surely be felt but I think it could only be for a short time.
271  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin gift to wife on wedding. on: June 16, 2023, 12:12:22 PM
Although I still studied, I invested a small amount in Bitcoin. I will get married if I get a good job. Many people give many things to their wives as wedding gifts, I have a different plan. I am planning to gift bitcoin to my wife on her wedding day. Bitcoin is still illegal in my country so I invested with caution. On my wedding day I want to gift half of my investment to my wife.
Should I gift bitcoin to my wife? I want your advice
As you've mention Bitcoin is still illegal in your country so why would you give her something that could put her in danger?
I know that you just want to make it unique but we should also consider the receiver does they want the gift that we would give them? would they appreciate it just like how they would appreciate normal gifts or how would they feel about it?
If your wife doesn't know about crypto or Bitcoin I think she wouldn't really appreciate it much.
272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trade altcoins during the bull run or just hodl? on: June 15, 2023, 09:50:57 PM
Next year will be my first bull run and have just been thinking about what will be best to do when it finally arrives next year.

Do you plan on just holding till an amount you are happy with or is it a good idea to try and trade altcoins whilst they are pumping to earn even more?
If I could earn more on trading while the market is having a bull run then I would gladly do it.
The problem with market movement is that it is hard to predict if it would continue to move up or down, that is why most of the traders who couldn't read or analyze the market tends to hold their coins.
I am not saying that those who are holding their coins doesn't know how to analyze or read but some of them do it because they couldn't make a choice since they don't know what would happen next.
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will you invest in a project that might take years to outshine the market?? on: June 15, 2023, 12:24:42 PM
If it would surely bloom them what's the rush?
If it could steadily grow and secure it's place in the future then I don't really care if it would take years as long as the project would survive and grow.
Bitcoin took years to grow so don't expect that alt coin could do it in just a short spam of time.
274  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Crypto another form of gambling? on: June 15, 2023, 11:08:52 AM
Only those who invest without proper knowledge could consider this as a gambling but those who study and analyze it call it as trading.
There is a huge difference between gambler and trader when it comes to crypto investment, trader's have skills and invest thorough chart reading while gamblers are the one's who invest through news or FOMO.
275  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop stressing kids with bitcoin on: June 15, 2023, 12:20:30 AM
I've seen several threads where people preach teaching bitcoin to kids and I've also seen threads where others talked about having  some savings(investments) in bitcoin  for their kids which is right.

Just as my topic reads, we should stop stressing  kids with wanting them do things we didn't meet up doing and at some points getting them mentally stressed.

Please don't get me wrong because I'm typically  not against teaching  or maybe introducing bitcoin  to your kids but I'm  on the opinion  that rather than bother them with this complicated digital asset (bitcoin) knowing fully well that no matter how much knowledge  we have about it, if we don't have the money to buy, then we'll  certainly  miss out, and judging from this, I don't think it's wise teaching them or wanting to force it on them when we know that they can't afford it.

I will suggest that, rather than bore them with the history of bitcoin,  why not get a portfolio for them and keep investing in it and watch it grow with them and when they're of age, then you can practically  show them the needful.

I want to know if there are people who also share same opinion with me and please lets just discuss rather than argue
I don't really know why kids would be stressed about it?
I mean from my point of view we are just opening it to them and for a young age we don't really believe that even if we discuss it to them thoroughly they would understand it.
And doesn't most of us faced similar fate on our early age? I mean most of us had faced reality on our early age knowing that not everything that we want would be given to us, and if they really got interested in Bitcoin isn't it a good thing? that means in an early age they want to earn or save money?
What's the negative thing about it?
276  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Gambling is different from trading on: June 14, 2023, 10:46:23 PM
I was doing a comparison between gambling and trading I find out that their is merging between trading and gambling, I want to explain the categories of trading and gambling from my research gambling don't have to do with skills, but people prefer gambling than trading, but I kicked against gambling because it does not have control that leads to victory during time of diecasting your prediction in gambling therefore I concluded that gambling have to do with luck.

While trading is a skill that you will learn and understand the basic factors that can hinder your trading not to be successful, a trader can notice it's mistakes after loss and make corrections while a gambler mistakes can't be corrected because it deals with prediction. I notice that people do not put their money much in gambling than trading whereas the risk and loss is more efficient in gambling than trading. When we study trading very well there is no way we can trade in a month without making profit and as a beginner in trading we don't need to start trading with money that we can not afford to loss, while in gambling so many people gamble with their salary and last money. So I prefer trading more than gambling because it is a skill and it can be controlled.
As you mention trading require's skills and analyzing or chart reading while gambling depends on luck, but what about those trader's who doesn't have skills and only trade base on the hype?
Are they consider trader or gamblers using trading as their gambling platform?
277  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin whale 'awakens' after 10 years. on: June 14, 2023, 12:23:28 PM
Are we going to face another FUD because of it?
I wonder what happened to this wallet if it is the same owner then this investor really have a strong hands to hold for that long.
And what could the owner be thinking right now would the Bitcoin be sold or hold till the next halving?
278  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin trading be my sole source of income? on: June 13, 2023, 11:00:50 PM
As a young person, I am overwhelmed by my curiosity in trading Bitcoin, but I'm not sure if it is appropriate for me to resign my white collar work and return to trading exclusively Bitcoin.

This was a conversation a buddy of mine and I had yesterday, and I felt compelled to bring it to this illustrious platform for the best types of advice and counsel.

Is it safe for a Bitcoin trader to quit their jobs and focus solely on Bitcoin trading if they can devote their time and attention to maximize the benefits in the Bitcoin world?
Before you resign think about how would you earn when the market bleed? and just imagine how long would it be and how would you survive if your only source of income is trading?
If you could come up with plans and counter measure to those events then I guess there is nothing wrong on quitting on your current job and focus on crypto.
And if by quitting on your job it would provide you more profit or make you earn more and secure then it is not wrong.
279  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New investigation on Satoshi Nakamoto & the Origins of Bitcoin on: June 13, 2023, 12:12:37 PM
Please just stop using Satoshi Nakamoto just to get views.
The person or organization has been out for so long and don't you think that others haven't tried to reveal who the creator is even in the past?
There were so many theories and none of them could prove who the creator is?
And let's just say that you got it right this time, how would we even know it if the creator wouldn't prove it?
280  Economy / Speculation / Re: Take advantage of the price fall. on: June 12, 2023, 11:15:03 PM
Is been a hard knocked to everyone trading bitcoin this seasons especially investment, my friend was sore disappointed for the recent falling of price because he bought $1000 bitcoin but the truth is that we cannot foresees the future in today, this is not the first time the price is Reding down, we should take advantage of this time at least you can use a small to purchase high value bitcoin. I wish we've profound bitcoin price analyst here, many people really wants to know the cause of continues price deflected, if you've ideas please your comments will be very important here. We newbies this days fall victims a lot because of ignorance of cryptosystem. Let's talk as a family.
You're aware of your ignorance so you should also know the answer for your question, you know what you lack of so why not start with it?
Most of newbie's fall victim to it, because they didn't really study it, they doesn't have plan and most of all they only see the profit they doesn't acknowledge the risk on investment.
If you know how to handle or manage your investment I think you could earn from those price fall.
