301  Economy / Economics / Re: Methods to cut food costs on: June 02, 2023, 12:09:30 PM
Actually it would depend if you live alone or if you're with your family.
If you live alone you should find a canteen that serves fresh cook meals and cheap because if you would cook for yourself the portion would be to much.
But if you live with your family buying ingredients in the market and cooking it yourself would be the most efficient way to save money on food.
Vouchers and coupon would only works on those who live alone and couldn't find a canteen.
302  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The madness of gambling addicts. on: June 01, 2023, 07:28:26 PM
This is not just for gambling any form of addiction could lead to madness.
When a person gets addicted to something they would go or do some crazy things just to continue on it.
I for one has been addicted to online games and it was worst back when I was just a student, I used to only think about games and how I could continue on it or play.
I was also addicted to gambling before, I would try to recover my loss and sometimes even if I do recover from it my greed wouldn't be satisfied and I would continue to gamble and end up losing again.
303  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you spend more-do you get more? on: June 01, 2023, 02:28:26 PM
There is an opinion that the more money you spend, the more you get in return, it is interesting to find out who really works in this direction. I spend enough money, but I have a fixed income, therefore I will not be able to get more. I don't have rich relatives, and I don't expect an inheritance either. I want to get rich, not to deny myself, but I have to save on everything. Who really faced big expenses and received even more? How does it work, maybe I don't understand the essence of it correctly?
For me in order to achieve it people should make it clear, if you want to spend more and get more then you should put it this way: spend more on investment rather than unnecessary expenses and you would get more(earn more).
In that way those words would definitely make sense, and sometimes it would also be a marketing strategy buy more save more  Grin LOL.
304  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trading is perfect work for jobless peoples on: May 31, 2023, 11:13:49 PM
In life there are many peoples wants freedom and this is available in day training and not any restrictions that whenever and wherever you want to doing work
If we thing about that are in enjoying with your family there you are also allow to work as well and also enjoy
Also freedom from your Boss.
Sounds good but it doesn't really work that way, how would you sustain your expenses? how would you sustain your capital and profit?
Do you think that trading alone could support you or your family?
You need other source of income to continue on trading because it wouldn't always be successful in trading the market bleeds do you think that you would survive those days if you only depend on crypto trading?
If you would only depend on your investment or trading what would happen if things doesn't work out? how would you support yourself or your family?
305  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will You Allow To Undergo Hypnosis If A Professional Recommend To Cure Gambling on: May 31, 2023, 12:07:29 PM
If that is the only way to stop me from gambling then yes, but I could control myself and stop when I want or needed to.
But if I am at a situation that I couldn't stop and it is already getting a huge impact on my life then yes I would go and accept it.
306  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you been threaten to stop gambling on: May 30, 2023, 07:28:33 PM
This actually happens if there is a similar thread I'll lock this thread.

My friend invited me for a round of drinks just last night to confess something, and that is his wife threatened to leave their house and file for legal separation because the wife just discovered that he's spending a lot of time gambling, she thought that he's just playing games but she discovered his logged because the idiot has his password in the browser, so the wife check his withdrawal and voila his losing a lot of money and she also discovered that he won big money in the past but didn't tell her.

I guess that blew her patience for not telling his winning, so he threaten that he should stop gambling or they part ways, my friend choose his wife so he cannot play until he can convince his wife and promise her to tell her if he won big. Cheesy

How about you have you been threatened by your wife, your girlfriend, or your parents, if so tell us your story.

LOL this made my day, but honestly I get why the wife has to threaten him.
He is spending so much money that his wife is unawared of and they are already married, even if they aren't having any financial issue right now she should also be aware of what is happening to her partners life.
She might just be scared that her husband could be addicted to gambling and might ruin their relationship and life.
It might not really be about the big profit that your friend won in the past but the fact that he was gambling with a lot of money behind her back.
307  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: my small investment on: May 30, 2023, 12:16:36 PM
I bought a $14.55 bitcoin a few days ago when it was at 22k. Again Bitcoin came to 19k. However, I did not sell bitcoins. I was convinced that the price of Bitcoin would rise again. I buy $50 worth of bitcoins again. Got some profit on this small investment. Looking at Bitcoin 24k today. I will keep it for a long time and will not sell it now. I think at some point bitcoin will pump a lot

Since I can't invest more dollars, I don't have that much money. Still will invest as much as possible.
Any amount of profit no matter how big or small it is, it is still a profit and it also applies to investment.
So for me it really doesn't matter as long as you could continue on investing any amount into it I am sure that it would pay off in the future, just like what I am doing right now.
308  Economy / Economics / Re: Saving one third what you earn monthly is not that hard, isn't it ? on: May 30, 2023, 03:48:48 AM
If you are in twenties or early thirties and remain single, earn $3,000 after tax per month, you will probably save $1,000 if you, let's say, spend $500 to $800 on rental, a guest bedroom in a shared house/apartment, $500 on food, $50  on utilities, $150 on phone/internet bills, $400 on commuting costs or gas/maintainance if you have a used car, $200 on occasional entertainment or others. This $1,000 savings will allow you to invest or place a house down payment when time is ripe. Is this possible based on where you live ?
Actually it all depends on your expenses, cost of living and how much you are earning or getting paid.
Some would really find it hard to save one third of their earnings since they have so much on their plate even in the age bracket that you have given.
There are also times that people tend to spend their money on things that would help them relax or relieve some stress from their work and believe me those expenses are needed in order to survive or be motivated.
309  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading not a get rich quick on: May 29, 2023, 10:18:43 PM
This is a common misconception in crypto or in general.
Most of the time when people found out that I am an crypto investor or trader they would say that, wow you must be rich or successful.
And for me it seems like whenever someone claims that they are a crypto trader or investor people would think that their rich, but we all know that it isn't always like that.
If being an investor or trader would instantly turn your life around then there wouldn't be poor in this world people should know it.
Just because your an investor or trader doesn't make you rich like when you have a business not every business would be successful.
310  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is every body absolutly responsible for the outcome of his or her future? on: May 29, 2023, 03:51:20 PM
I couldn't say that we are totally responsible for it, because not everyone have the same opportunity in life.
But it is up to us to make our life better or at least how our future would be.
Everything that we would do right now would take effect in the future so we should think about how we spend our time and our money while we are earning some, because we couldn't guarantee that it would always be that way.
311  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or banking investment? on: May 29, 2023, 01:21:38 PM
I believe bitcoin and banks are well renounced investment platforms but many people prefer bitcoin investment despite is very risky because of high demands and rising price interest and banks on the other hand saves millions of people finances all over the world yet their investment interest is very small but less risky than bitcoin. Which do you preferred your money to be save in as investment? Bitcoin or bank! What's your reason?
I would choose Bitcoin over Bank when it comes to investment.
I hold my own asset and have my own control over Bitcoin, yes it is risky that is why we have to manage it well and we could always cut loss when needed.
We could easily get the amount that we would earn in a year of investment in banks in a shorter spam of time in cryptocurrency, I know that it is riskier than banks but we choose to invest in order to earn money not to just let our money sleep in it.
312  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Educating unemployed friends about Bitcoin on: May 28, 2023, 08:55:47 PM
First of all I am the only person in my area who has a basic understanding of Bitcoin. That is, in the region where I live, no one but me knows about Bitcoin.

The maximum number of friends I hang out with are unemployed. They are not uneducated they are all well educated in their respective positions but due to lack of adequate facilities they are unable to find any employment. When we walk together I talk to them about Bitcoin but they tell me that they have only heard about Bitcoin on various social media and they think that if anyone is involved in Bitcoin, the administration of our country will arrest them. Because it is through this kind of news that they are aware of Bitcoin. But when I tell them that I have a rough understanding of Bitcoin. Then they don't want to believe me when I tell them all about bitcoin they believe me. And I assure them if we all get involved in Bitcoin maybe our unemployment will go away. Because there are enough ways to earn money with Bitcoin.

Out of all my friends two of my friends have some savings and when I told them about the investment they became very interested in investing but I didn't tell them only the positive aspects of the investment I told them the negative aspects. And I know the rest of my friends would also be interested in learning about Bitcoin but I just don't know how to start teaching them about it. Because bitcoin crypto currency is completely illegal in my country. So how can I help my friends in this regard?

Hope you guys can give me proper feedback on this and help me move forward in helping them.
First of you couldn't be so sure that you are the only person who knows about Bitcoin in your region there are some who doesn't want to make it public and use the anonymity of crypto to hide it.
And if you want to help them be employed it isn't just crypto that could help them we have internet and you could search for online jobs that suites their profession there are so many freelance agent out there that are earning comfortably in their homes.
It is not always crypto that could lessen the people who aren't earning or unemployed let's face it some people who doesn't have the necessary skills couldn't make a living out of crypto.

313  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: At How Much Price You First Saw The Bitcoin? on: May 28, 2023, 06:17:57 PM
I first saw or heard Bitcoin when it was just around $8-9 per piece, couldn't believe that a single question would make me realize and make me feel so old (LOL).
Now that I think about it I had so many opportunity to hoard back then and it is hard or sadden's me to back track my early transactions specially those which I just spend to gamble for fun, I should have manage my money well but you know what they say experience is the best way to learn.
314  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to know a good bitcoin investors! on: May 27, 2023, 10:50:18 PM
People who really understands what investment is all about, took time to plan and scale their income weight, Period of plan and period of investment. Bitcoin investors know when and how to invest weather trading or mining there is an appropriate time for it. And as investor you're not expected to hit and run or even eat up your profit. You've to give it time to grow hip hop and accumulate more. That's why in most cases I trust bitcoin investment to any forex or others channels, in bitcoin one hardly loss it all especially if the value of units coins remain safely.

How do you know a good investors?
* they're futuristic
* they're planners
* they're financial manager
* they're risk managers
* they're projected

That's how to know a good investors of bitcoin who do not see challenges but the possibilities of making their future work.
Bitcoin is a good assets to invest on but it's also has it own risk which you must learn.
Well for me it seems like you're not just talking about Bitcoin investors your idea is actually applicable to every investment not just in crypto.
To be honest with you I know few crypto investors who just wants to invest/save or hold their money in crypto rather than Fiat.
They just see it as a way to save their excess income and honestly speaking I am one of those type of investor, I just believe that it is better to keep it in crypto rather than inside my bank account.
I know the risk when it comes to price fluctuation but I really think that it is more profitable than letting it sit on my bank account.
315  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you give one reason why I should buy bitcoin? on: May 27, 2023, 05:49:35 PM
A friend of mine once told me that I can become very by investing in bitcoin and cryptocurrency.
According to him,he said some crypto analyst and experts have long predicted that bitcoin has the largest transfer of wealth and affluent
The world has ever seen and that most of them that are investing in it will be the ones to be rewarded.
I'm certainly not convinced about this information that he gave to me...I want better ideas and  enlightenment on why I should buy bitcoin.I need help please!

This is kind of odd for me, to be honest if someone would talk to me personally and ask me this question I would just laugh at them.
Why would I even convince you? what's in it for me? no matter what happens in your investment it would all be in your hands?
If you really want to get into crypto or Bitcoin do your own research, if the result isn't suited for your investment plan then get out if you think that it would benefits you in the long run then go in, it's just as simple as that.
Yeah I know that we should promote Bitcoin but if you or those people who doesn't know it or not interested in it, would like more information after we give out information about it and explain how it works ask us more on why you should invest on it, I wouldn't argue or come up with any reason it is up to you to decide we had given out the information.
316  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My mistake was making my involvement with Bitcoin public on: May 26, 2023, 02:33:32 PM
There is always a man in the family who believe they are the smartest, I have an uncle who is currently the most successful one in the family, maybe that's why he is behaving this way, he knew my involvement with crypto and Bitcoin, and after the crash into bear market he called me and said ..

Are you still into Bitcoin? You need to find something else to do, Bitcoin will fail soon because there is nothing that can take away the money printing machines, the government will keep printing money because they like been the printer, they can't print Bitcoin that's why it will fail, stop living a dream and do something good with your life before it's too late.

At first I got angry, because he always believe he knows the best for everyone, and I am different, I am not like my brothers that fall before his kneels every time. I replied him with this.

Why are you so into what I am doing? Why did you take this so serious than anything else? You have never showed concern about me, I have never asked you for help and you fulfill it, if Bitcoin fails it's fine for me, and Bitcoin was never created to kill Fiat in the first place, it was created to support people like me, because no one wants to support people like us but they want to pretend they do.. Fiat is Centralized and Bitcoin is Decentralized, it's for the people and the community, it's freedom and a perfect home 🏠. I can't hate something that have helps me so many times uncle.

Have I said something too harsh? He took this personal and report me to my eldest brother, my brother said I shouldn't mind, he doesn't know that my brother is now also a Bitcoin investor, my mistake was making it public, which my brother never did.

If you are still planning to get into Bitcoin, don't post anything about it in family group chat or on your WhatsApp status, this was my biggest mistake.
Maybe it wasn't a mistake at all, you just have to learn on ignoring those kind of people.
Honestly if my relatives start talking to me like that I wouldn't care at all I would just ignore them, let them feel that way what we do is not for them but for ourselves, we are not earning or investing in crypto for them so why should we be bothered by their words?
Just because their your relatives doesn't mean that you couldn't cut them off, for me if the disrespect is too much I don't care about the relationship status if your my relatives, my friends or family or even my partner I would distant my self from you and slowly disconnect from you.
Learn to enjoy what you do and be contented with who supports you it doesn't matter if you only have few people around you.
317  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin bonus real or a scam? on: May 26, 2023, 12:24:51 PM
Bitcoin bonus is a website that claim to user can earn bitcoin for no cost. But user now have a question is bitcoin bonus real or a scam. These days people are caught in scams specially online scam so people are scared to believe online website. But bitcoin bonus is well updated website and designed and developed by professional people. The first bonus given to new comer is $5, which is a catch here, why would anyone give money just for signing up on website.

There's nothing wrong in trying it, but if those site requires a minimum amount of deposit and that amount is a bit pricey in order to withdraw your bonus then better think and do some research before putting on some money in it.
318  Economy / Economics / Re: Retirement Age for Workers - Does this Make Sense? on: May 25, 2023, 09:41:35 PM
Yes I think that they should give a choice for their employees specially if they had been in the company for a long time,
but at the same time I see why they want them to retire as knowledgeable as they are due to their long term work experience being old also have it's negative side: getting slower at work, and of course they also care about the accuracy what if they starts to be forgetful? and not to forget about the health risk.
319  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you consider moving abroad? on: May 25, 2023, 02:33:26 PM
It would depend I actually wants to try it but there is too much to consider,
My daughter if I would move abroad I would have a hard time visiting her.
I know working abroad would make me earn more than I am currently earning but, it is not just about the money or work if I would move to a different country I would like to live there for good.
320  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you survived during covid19 ? on: May 25, 2023, 12:11:46 PM
The hell of shit one had as experience during pandemic was severely pitty. My country was to political about the whole thing, because reality states that it wasn't to that estimation. Lots of fears, grief, deaths, sicknesses, recession, lack, hunger, products absence, no market, indoors, lots of sex, lockdown and security threat.

This terms was the only psycho imagination of people and fears of people. The government also came up with vaccine, test and quarantine. Dudes this wasn't funny even in my country that was political, no way to travel after all and no country is ready to occupy immigrants. It was a fiest stories, often counting and increasing dead victims.

But in my country it was hunger that almost take the lives of people because no money and if you have nowhere to buy something.

How did you survived the asshole pandemic disease (covid19)?  Where you sore afraid? How you deassociate with people? How did you get something to eat?
When it comes to food nothing really changed other than there are times that some ingredients are limited and the price would sky rocket, it does feel like we are trading crypto back then because the price would suddenly increase or drop down it was unstable.
And for income I was lucky that I am earning in crypto and my partner back then manage to have a work from home.
