661  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do scams harm Bitcoin's reputation in the mainstream world? on: August 10, 2020, 04:37:20 PM
It depends if the person knows what is Bitcoin and knows that Bitcoin was just used as a tool just like a Fiat in other scams as well.
Only those who doesn't know would think bad about it since all currency could be used to scam and scammer are already doing there job right before Bitcoin was created.
But I think it doesn't really harm the reputation of Bitcoin since the one's who doesn't know it wouldn't really care about it.
662  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Okay whales and market manipulators, I need you to crash the coin markets now. on: August 09, 2020, 01:52:41 PM
I do agree with you that their would be price correction but you don't know that, If I were you I would have just take profit and let the remaining token to run  and see what would happen, there  will be a correction, just don't try to buy the bottom, have the entry level then you will be fine
I would also do the same thing or the other way around if OP could just take the profit or hiscapital and leave the rest as it is.
We wouldn't know when would the price goes down or would it even go back to where it was before the great price increase happen.
But I also understand his choice it is better to be safe than sorry right and also OP could just buy back whenever hewants.
663  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whales are busy accumulating Ethereum, but Analysts claim it’ll fall. on: August 08, 2020, 10:43:14 PM
I don't really believe in those analysts they could tell whatever they want and for once I think I get why they are claiming it'll fall.
They think it would fall because the whale would dump it once the FOMO is over and it would crash the price down again just like what happen in Bitcoin price back in the late 2017.
664  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which GOLD backed coin/token do you think the best? on: August 08, 2020, 09:30:58 PM
in all honesty, I would prefer to buy gold in the real world and hold it in my home safe, I don't see why people buy these altcoins, but it seems to me that this project is the most viable at that moment

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5161544.0

I agree this project seems nice and really backed up with gold I mean the campaign has been around for so long but I think there hasn't been any issue about it at all.
And just to add up their token really have a value as they've promise so I think they are the best Gold coin/token in crypto right now if they would continue to do what they have started.
665  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Attention for bounty work on: August 07, 2020, 06:30:29 PM
Bounty is not a must on bitcointalk even if you look for work here. I see a lot of services offered and they do not talk about bounty. Coding, signature designs, and portraits are just some of them.

This is what most of the newbie thinks about the forum they only see it as a way to earn through bounty.
They forget what is the real important role of this forum to share the knowledge to enlighten the new ones about crypto.
666  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reason hunters dump reward as soon as received. Trust Exchange etc on: August 07, 2020, 03:27:15 PM
My only reason why I would dump my reward as soon as I received it would be because of the fear that it would soon die like what most of the new alt-coins has been.
Whenever the new alt-coin gets listed the price would only stay for awhile and it would soon falls down or wouldn't get any demand after a short period of time so even if it is listed then it would be useless because there wouldn't be any buyer except for those who have set up a very low price.
We have work for it to so we also have the right to get at least something for it.
667  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Ethereum Wallets on: August 05, 2020, 09:13:03 PM
So far I am only using 3 wallets for Ethereum first is the Nano Ledger for my long term hold and investment,
Second is MEW for all my erc20 tokens I have been using MEW for so long now ever since I found it I never had any problem with it.
And my last wallet is a mobile app which I use to easily convert my ETH into BTC or other crypto and into Fiat.
But if I would recommend a wallet for newbie's it would be a hardware wallet to make sure that all of their crypto investment are safe.
668  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH will touch 10,000$ to 12,000$ at the end of 2020. on: August 05, 2020, 05:33:31 PM
Yeah sure and I hope your crystal ball also tells you that the DOGE would worth $100 per piece at the end of 2020.
ETH is still too far from touching $1,000 and you are already too advance that it would be around $10,000 in just about 5 months?
669  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: TRON (TRX) Coin Future Price ? on: August 04, 2020, 03:52:40 PM
Well tron is one of a good alt-coin to invest for me since their team and CEO is very active so I guess it wouldn't really die or go any lower.
I think this coin have a potential but they are missing an investor to make the price great again.
670  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunting tips for newbie in joining bounty campaign. on: August 04, 2020, 02:46:31 PM
Yes only join the bounty that is being manage by reputable managers or teams you could also try to search some of the previous project of the bounty managers to see if they are having a good decision on which project to promote or hold.
There are so many new manager this days but I think it is good to stick with those who only had manage a successful project since they know how to choose a project not just accept any project that would be given to them.
671  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PlusToken Ponzi Goes To Jail on: August 03, 2020, 02:27:33 PM
It feels good to know that there are scammers that are still getting arrested because of this ponzi schemes in crypto.
I was once a victim of Ponzi schemes or other investment in crypto currency and it feels really terrible when our crypto investments turn out to be scam and we couldn't do anything about it since we know that they are only using fake info's.
So this would really feel good for those who have been their victim although we know that their money wouldn't go back to them.
672  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Escrow is a must to avoid disappointment on: August 03, 2020, 11:52:05 AM
It's becoming more harder for new projects team to keep their promises to bounty hunters, some even said bounty hunters are getting free tokens for free, meaning bounty hunters aren't recognized for their work, I suggest all bounty managers to start using ESCROW.

I believe with escrow payment will be guaranteed, team won't be able to go back on their words, bitwings for example, after a complete year of waiting for payment they decide to do another audit on spreadsheet and they falsely accused bounty hunters without any proof.

Bounty Detective is the only bounty manager using escrow, if many bounty managers start using escrow it will be better.
I also agree escrow would help a lot not just for bounty hunters but to also keep this hunting business running.
If things continue I think we would have less and less hunters joining the campaigns I remember back in 2017 most of the bounty campaigns would have over hundreds of participants and now look at some of the bounties spreadsheets.
I know that there are some who would continue on working as a bounty hunter but imagine having only few promoters of their project it wouldn't much effect for their publicity.
673  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Lukki exchange ( Lukki.io ) is a Scam on: July 31, 2020, 07:35:51 AM
Lukki.io exchanges is a scam guys !! they do not withdraw btc .. their trades are lies

https://www.mileswithsmile.com/lukki-io-lukki-exchange-is-a-scam-dont-deposit-money/
I would advise any newbie to avoid new trading sites as much as they could we have so many trusted trading sites that has been operating for so long why would they even jump to this new sites?
They only need to search for it on the internet and also do some background check before depositing some money.
And OP you should move this thread to scam accusation
674  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Too Many Altcoins! on: July 30, 2020, 11:14:17 AM
Do you ever wonder why there are many altcoins today? I was just thinking that since the main objective of cryptocurrency is to ease payment. Why would people create so much altcoins when people can only use bitcoin as a payment gateway? Are the founders of every altcoins creating their token for money?
They want to have their own project or crypto they want to have a successful name in crypto and gain profit from it.
And every crypto or alt-coin have their own advantages and maybe that is the reason why there are so many alt-coin right now each and every alt-coin is different from each other.
675  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 900,000 illegal bitcoins. on: July 29, 2020, 06:57:11 AM
One day, all these bitcoins will somehow hit the market.  Undecided
It's very possible that our coins are already mixed with illegal coins those were marked on the addresses. You never know.

Does this worry you much?
It doesn't for me.

When we deal with cash, we do not know the source of that cash whether it came from an illegal or legal source one hand before me. I think the Bitcoin hatters are very active to plant the seeds in our head some day we will be in trouble. There will be time when we will not have these centralized exchanges with centralized fiat, there will be a time when we will not have any centralized financial system. Wait for those days.

PS: I am not encouraging those illegal Bitcoin traders by any means. I just think that nothing can stop Bitcoin.
True there is a huge possibility that those illegal Bitcoin are already mixed up on the market,
We don't know how many of those Bitcoin are already circulating on the market who knows maybe half or more of it are already on the market.
They could sell it little by little so that we wouldn't feel the impact of the dump.
676  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We Are All Satoshi on: July 28, 2020, 06:37:14 AM
Great art I like the picture and I think the title would really be loved by CSW.
And all the people who loves to claim that they are Satoshi but we should know that we are only supporting Satoshi's idea and helping the Bitcoin grow.
677  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BOUNTY PAYMENT MATTERS on: July 26, 2020, 09:30:58 AM
It is a good one but I think  when this kind of bounty payment is settle then they would only go with the ones who are already trusted and known to have a good reputation on the forum.
I wonder why this kind of bounty isn't showing up yet and I hope that they would also limit their participants so the bounty rewards wouldn't be so small.
678  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe in crypto ratings? on: July 26, 2020, 08:08:27 AM
It would depend on what they are rating if it is an ICO,IEO or any crowdfunding projects then NO I already lost trust on those trust ratings for those kind of crypto a very long time ago.
But if it is on the old crypto or the one's that already have a value then I think I would still believe it like the list of CMC.
679  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying food or groceries with Bitcoin on: July 20, 2020, 04:37:35 AM
With the pandemic all over the world I hope that there would really be a food or groceries application and even delivery service provider that would accept Bitcoin or even use Bitcoin as their payment method for their service.
I think it would be a huge help for everyone right now imagine buying all the things that you need at home and you wouldn't need to cash out or convert your crypto into Fiat so it would save you time and provably avoid being infected because you wouldn't need to go out to do all of it.
680  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Warning: crypto related twitter accounts (Binance, Bitcoin, TRON, &more) hacked on: July 17, 2020, 03:09:50 AM
The DMs from all of those people might indeed be worth more than the $100k he got from the simple doubling scam.

true but i seriously doubt they got that much money out of the scam. i said this in the other topic too, the amount placed in those addresses is like the beggars who put the first dollar in their bowl to make people feel safe giving up their money...
I saw an article on Facebook about how much the scammer (s) got : over $115,000 given by over 300 people (though the articles said 'idiots').

It may be not that much to you guys but when converted to our country's currency, that's over Php 5,000,000! I don't know how long I'll be able to learn such amount but he only got it within a day or maybe even less.
I doubt that it is all from the people who got scammed like what BrewMaster have mention they might have send their own money on the address to make it more realistic.
I wonder how much did they really get from this scam maybe not even half of what has been stated amount.
