I'm sad that the audience didn't point out the absurdity of some of their ideas and claims.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rJN0Hm3srUcThis should interest you. But I wouldn't pay too much attention to their ideas about having to create more bitcoins in the future due to data loss. He apparently doesn't understand the point.

We shouldn't put portraits on money. I recommend equations and functions related to the bitcoin algorithms.

Only seems to appear when there is "new work for worker". New version. Bitcoinqt 0.5.1 on Win7x64.
What miner are you using? Poclbm? It does long polls using HTTP GET requests instead of JSON-RPC, which I didn't know. EDIT: The latest commit has a fix for this. Ufasoft bitcoin miner.

This is all the free Dwolla money finally going into the bitcoin system. Expecting a correction in about 30 days.

I have paid into FeedZeBirds.com/f4i7z but it does not offer the option to "Play" or refund.
LightRider, This happened because you had previously stopped the campaign, and been refunded for it. Once a campaign is stopped (as opposed to paused), it can't be restarted. That being said, the fact that you sent more to that campaign's address brings up an interesting situation that I hadn't considered. I'll think about the best way to handle this in the future, but for now, the best I can do is refund the amount you sent after the campaign was stopped. This is roughly 2 bitcents, which I just sent to your payment address. Until I work out a solution to this state machine, please don't send any more money to stopped campaigns. Not sure if we'll switch to allowing stopped campaigns to be restarted, but it will take some time to fix. -Ira Thank you for addressing the issue and refunding the account. Looking forward to more successful campaigns with your service.

That video site attempts to download an executable in a pop under window. Downloader beware.

This is not exactly a charity, but it is a worthy cause in my view. An open source movie is in the works that wants to portray life in a resource based economy and the idea of a better world for all people. I have recently persuaded them to accept bitcoin donations for their work. For those of you who are interested in donating to or following the progress of this project, I highly encourage you to check out their sample video and take note of their current and ongoing accomplishments. http://www.wakingupmovie.com/2011/12/bitcoin-donations/

Also interesting from this corner. DWave ran a distributed computing project for a long time called Aqua. It was suspended earlier this year because they had the results they needed in progressing commercialisation of what they were looking at. I'll wait and see if it really has advantages over conventional linear or parallel computing.
A significant portion of that work was done by members of the Zeitgeist Movement team.

http://www.dwavesys.com/en/products-services.htmlRecently, D-Wave Systems unveiled their latest commercial quantum computer with 128 qubit capability. Given the rate at which their expanding the number of qubits available in such systems, how long until we have to worry about private key mining becoming more profitable than hash mining?
