1061  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH sell now then re-buy later? on: June 15, 2017, 05:06:45 AM
That seems a good strategy. I see this rise as a bubble so I speculate that it will drop soon. And it is not wrong to book a profit anyway. You can buy again anytime and wait for another profit.
1062  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin crash or moon after august/sept implementation on: June 14, 2017, 04:45:08 PM
Have to say that I am feeling extremely nervous about the whole thing. So if a split occurs, what will happen to the coins in my wallet? Do I have to move my coins to one chain, or will they be replicated on both the chains? Also, can anyone tell me whether keeping the coins in an online wallet (such as Blockchain.info) is safe or not?

If a split happens, you will have coins on both chain. then you'll have to wait if one of them dies or like in the case of ETC, both chain survives and you can spend both of them.

Just to be safe, you must keep your coins on a wallet where you have the control over the private keys before the event.
1063  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does August 1st mean for me? on: June 14, 2017, 03:08:38 PM
The most important thing is too keep your bitcoins away from exchanges before that day and some time after that. You must put it in a wallet where you control the keys. This way, if ever a hard fork happens or not, your bitcoin is safe. If a hard fork happens, then there is a split and you will have equal value of the two resulting coins. Otherwise, business as usual.
1064  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why do people create more than one BTC wallet ? on: June 14, 2017, 12:59:31 PM
My wallets have their own uses. I have wallet in an exchange where I convert my bitcoin to fiat. An online wallet that I use for online purposes and to receive wages from signature campaign. And a secure desktop wallet where I store most of my bitcoin for long time holding. I do not know for others but these are the reasons I have multiple wallets.
1065  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which will be the dominating scalable coin? (NEM vs. IOTA vs. Radix vs. EOS...) on: June 14, 2017, 01:51:41 AM
Everything is good in theory until tested by reality. And none of the solutions of these coins are put in the hard test yet. What matters is when the coin is put to the test, how fast will the devs refine their solutions  to become the perfect scaling solution.
1066  Economy / Services / Re: Earn 0.00009 in 10 seconds ! on: June 13, 2017, 06:35:38 PM
Even if he pays, do you really want his dust bitcoins added to your bitcoins? His reward is smaller than the transaction fee needed to spend the bitcoin he will send. At most, he will bloat your transaction fees when you spend your coins. Doing this is just a waste of time.
1067  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin price decreasing on: June 13, 2017, 05:34:01 PM
From 2980+ it dived to 2480+ but it is recovering now. It is just maybe the whales taking profit from the new ATH. The trend is still going up. The 2480 must be the lowest point and it will continue its interrupted journey to 3K+.
1068  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: What happens to unconfirmed transactions? (blockchain.info) on: June 13, 2017, 04:52:09 PM
1.For me bitcoin is crap because i got several +18 hours transactions (large and small).
I mostly use exchanges since i could not download the hole blockchain
2.(i gave up after 10 days trying to sync the Bitcoinclient. i achieved only 46% with a 50mbit highspeed ISP !)
3. the fees are too damn high like overpriced fiat bank services
4. even if problem 1 would not exist its still damn slow in nature. But with with that fee-issue which exists since 2013 or longer
Bitcoin is a fail for me for these 4 reasons.

You do not need to run a full node in order to use bitcoin. There are light wallets that you can use that basically have all the functions and the security that you need. The long transaction confirmation and high fees goes hand in hand and should be solved by segwit or whatever solution the core devs are proposing but the miners are taking their sweet time in electing it. Bitcoin is not perfect but I do not think there is an altcoin out there ready to replace bitcoin, YET.
1069  Economy / Economics / Re: could bitcoin be replaced by another crypto currency? on: June 13, 2017, 04:07:25 PM
Bitcoin can be replaced by a stronger cryptocurrency. Nothing in this world is permanent and so it bitcoin. If in the future there will be a coin that can overcome the weakness of bitcoin, it may take the crown as no.1 crypto.
1070  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where are we going with cryptocurrency? on: June 13, 2017, 07:41:36 AM
Not much. None of the crypto is applicable for daily use and to an average joe, it is still easier to use fiat than crypto. If anything, the only users that can be added are gamblers and speculators or traders.

Anyone know when sig wallet will be refilled or anyone asked yobit about it? I think it is over two weeks now that I cannot transfer my balance to my walllet.
1072  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First Bitcoin on: June 13, 2017, 05:28:51 AM
If you are in my campaign and you complete 20 posts per day you'll earn 0.042btc in a week. Now you do the computation how long to earn 1 btc.
1073  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: June 13, 2017, 03:25:12 AM
Cavs is still fighting and doing their best but it is starting to look like a gsw game now. Just 9 minutes to go with gsw up by 9. They need to put a tougher defense if they still want to extend this series.
1074  Economy / Economics / Re: volatility and transaction fees... on: June 13, 2017, 03:19:17 AM
Votality will settle with age. Bitcoin is still way too young to demand stability. The main problem here is miner's or transaction fees coupled with long transaction time. And as the price goes up, even 100 sat per byte fee will be  huge in $ terms.
1075  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA FINALS (Golden State Warriors vs Cleveland Cavaliers) GAME 5!!! GSW 3 CAVS 1 on: June 13, 2017, 12:26:50 AM
GSW is the undisputed huge favorite to win this one, Cleveland played just 2 good games out of the 4 while GSW played fine in all even the last loss, that's what's going to make a difference IMO, consistency. I think GSW can play game 5,6,7 with the same quality and CLE can't even if they win 5, they will lose 6 or 7.. GSW + Durant is a lethal mixture for other teams.

Nope, gsw played poorly even giving up 20+ turnovers and still managed to win 3 games out of 4. That is how over powered they are. They can afford to give some balls, miss some three points and still win the game.
1076  Economy / Speculation / Re: IT'S ALL GOOD on: June 13, 2017, 12:19:28 AM
Its been a while since we seen the last dip. It is good if you caught the 2400+ dip, I think you will have a good profit from it if you hold it for a while.
1077  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NEM/XEM on: June 12, 2017, 01:56:54 PM
I think the target price for nem is around one dollar until catapult is release. I do not think it will jump to one dollar but a steady rise to it. Nem is not hyped so the price may take longer to achieve.
1078  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin heading to $4,000 on: June 12, 2017, 12:56:20 PM
Bitcoin is a blessing to some of us here. We can testify, how since the beginning of this year that, we have make alot of return on our investment in bitcoin. I foreseeing bitcoin touching $4,000 before the end of October this year. Hope you join us in this less risk investment.

Are you sure it is a less risk investment. Bitcoin fluctuates every now and then and that does not constitute to me as a less risk investment. Everyone entering this late in to bitcoin is really taking a big risk.
1079  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can bitcoin hit 3500$ in 2018?  ??? on: June 12, 2017, 05:48:31 AM
We are already at 2900+, a little more push and we will reach 3500 already. It seems we do mot have to wait til.next year to reach this. But honestly, when the year started I never thought that the price will reach this high this early. I thought it will take another more year to reach this level.
1080  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which coins with price under $1 are undervalued? on: June 12, 2017, 05:30:42 AM
I believe NEM is undervalued at 20+¢. It have good devs, community support and a lot of use cases. It should be priced above 1 dollar but it is not marketed that much so too little people notice it.
