DHL shipped on Thursday morning from Sweden got to me in NY this Friday afternoon
a little more than 24 hours. Im VERY impressed. I didnt expect it for another week. BUT - the fan on the heatsink is floating around. It seemed to have detached. Im hoping it isnt broken off.
Its a Mercury and Im confused why they gave the Mercury (or at least the early builds) the HUGE cases. Im assuming its the same chassis as the Jupiters, and they just didnt bother making a smaller one. At least 3/4 of the case isn't needed. But its a non-issue I suppose.
Also a bit disappointed that they didnt give molex/PCIE adapters with the machine like I got from BFL. I didnt expect it, but it would've been nice. This is just a nit pick of mine.
You have got to be kidding me!! My Saturn was shipped on Wednesday and it is still waiting to be cleared at DHL and the earliest I will see it is next week on the 23rd!! It is also East cost USA. Do you mind posting your tracking log? Going to East coast of U.S.

Allow me to repost the totally bogus order depths chart that can't possibly be anything near reality and that in no way, shape or form suggests that shipping progress hits a wall in mid-late March. It also totally doesn't suggest that we've only made it 50%-60% of the way to the end of April's backorders.
There's actually a wall in the last week of March that extends into April and ends in May, so if they're still at 50 or 60 employees today, the backlog could be stuck at 200+ days for the next few weeks. 50 or 60?? Where did you get that number? There are EXACTLY 16 people assembling hardware. SIXTEEN They won't hire more because the parts trickle in the door and assembled units trickle out the door. By the time people who ordered gear in July/August of 2013 get theirs they will be like Block erupters. Sixteen huh? You sound really sure about that, too bad you're wrong. There's 16 in just the one assembly room, another 12 in the 2nd room, and 8 each in the 3rd and 4th rooms. Not to mention the Jalapeno's are outsourced, so there's even more assemblers there. Well I stand corrected, however my knowledge came from you when you said (paraphrasing) when you (or maybe it was PG) mentioned they hired 8 more to double their assembly team. So (even more sad now) you are saying that they have 44 people doing assembly? Did they ever reach 400 units a day? Hey with 44 people, making 9 units a day should be pretty easy.

How is it that complaining about packaging makes it ok to switch from next day to a company that doesn't even fly domestic routes in the U.S. without customer approval?
Too many peeps in here were bashing UPS So? Who gives a s*** "what people were bashing"? Like that is ANY way to justify their actions. Give me a break. they made the decision because so many people said UPS was not the way to go, thats customer response, and every justification they need. I dont like it either, and know UPS is better, but they made that change specifically because people told them UPS sucks. Don't blame them. Blame the people who complained about UPS, when they hadn't even had their package shipped. Transam808- yeah... would have been in your home hashing today if it was UPS Sorry Phoenix, you're wrong on this one. UPS was and is the best choice. They have no right to bait and switch. They have no right to transfer complaints of poor packaging onto UPS. You're starting to sound like 'orama. +10000000000000

mrb - would you entertain people sending you Avalon gen1 chips and you churning out complete Redhashes?
plus one Plus 2 We will do it if there is enough interest. For example is anybody interested in the following: send us 320 chips (to our company in the USA), and we will assemble a full 105 Ghash/sec Redhash unit and ship it back to you for approximately 14 BTC, shipping of the unit included, worldwide? (This might sound close to Bitsyncom's price, but the advantage over a unit shipped from China is no customs for USA buyers, plus we use higher-quality components, cables, PSUs, fans, our chassis is rackable, etc.) so $2100 and I supply the chips for 100gh? That's really nice of you [/sarcasm]

My overnight shipping is going to take 5 days from Sweden to Texas now that they have switched to DHL. I would have preferred broken box and fans. It never ends.
Sorry bud, too many people complained about UPS. I hate to be argumentative, especially after all your hard work, however, when my unit shipped on the 16th I find it hard to believe that so many people complained to the point where you abandoned the carrier altogether in favor of a carrier that takes 3 - 4 times as long This is a time sensitive business we are in and when I pay $102 for UPS next day shipping and someone decides to change me to DHL 6/7 day shipping and does not consult me it sort of annoys me. I am sitting here right now watching my Device sitting at DHL in Ohio where it will sit for another 3 to 4 days when it should be here with me. No one refunding my UPS fees, no one reimbursing my lost BTC. Again you are the closest thing to the messenger so I mean no disrespect to you when I say THIS IS WRONG. Yes they did great on the timeline, They did poor on the firmware, poor on the communications, poor on the packing, use the right boxes and you could use UPS now poor on the speed to shipping. In my dads words.... "One "AW SHIT" cancels Ten "Atta Boys"

I have requested a refund of my shipping.
I pay for next day and I won't see my item for 6-7days from the time it left.
On top of that all the BTC I could have mined in 5 days!!

My miner is stuck in Ohio as well. I was told it would be delivered today any time from 13:30-16:30. I live in California... It's 09:30 already..
Not happening today.

Strange I remember paying for UPS not DHL
No shit! UPS Next Day, no less. Somehow that turned into a 5 day trip with DHL. Fucked again. JFC Are you saying it's been sitting in DHL for 3-5 days? If so, call and ask. DHL doesn't just sit on packages for no reason... All delays with international shipments are due to customs/security checks that are outside of shippers control. But there are .1% occasional logistic problems... Don't wait and call them! I already called they said they needed no other info Damn thing sat in Belgium for almost 24 hours

Well "Two Weeks or so" is officially up today (since BFL does not ship on the weekends) so unless they get to the end of April today (Bwhahahahahha) they will again have missed clearing April in "2 weeks or so" Monday starts "3 weeks" Should be 5 to 6 more weeks until they clear April (so Mid November) so they will have missed "Clearing April by the end of September" by 6 weeks. For those of you who have not yet caught on. Josh knows this, he knows he won't make any of his predictions. His predictions in fact are not predictions but well crafted statements to intentionally put hope into customers. At this point there is not much left at risk for BFL, all their Paypal money is gone, now just credit card chargebacks and the AG and FTC One final prediction from me (and any person who can do 5th grade math) BFL will fail to get the 65nm line cleared by January 1st 2014 or for that matter by March of 2014.

My shipment appears to be sitting in OH with the following status: 12 Clearance event CINCINNATI HUB, OH - USA 4:48 AM Under "Further Details": The Clearance process for this shipment is on-going with additional details required for clearance and under "Next Step": The clearance process will continue once the additional details are provided for clearance Is this something out of the ordinary, or do all international shipments to the US go through this? Yes that is normal mine is showing the same. Unless DHL delivers on weekends (Hahahhaa) We won't see ours until Monday or Tuesday. Strange I remember paying for UPS not DHL DHL has always sucked!!

Box has arrived undamaged. Loud sound of plastic falling about inside.
How is that possible? Your unit and mine were on the same plane, I live one hour from you and mine is still in OHIO

Shouldn't Inaba/Josh be swinging by to add insult to injury about now?
Josh will be nothing but a distant bad memory by 2014.
