A cryptocurrency controlled by a government has no advantage over bitcoin. It would be like fiat in digital form. It is the very same thing bitcoin is designed to avoid and combat. Even if countries will have their own cryptocurrency, people will still choose bitcoin over it.

as far as I know, bitcoin is still the store value of most of the altcoins around. Even now that there are some issues in scaling, the community is still growing and the price still going up. Even if there is an influx of people going to altcoins, I think bitcoin will not crash.

That price is just too high. In my mind it is not possible for bitcoin to reach that price but bitcoin has proven me wrong for some of my assumptions in the past. This could prove me wrong too but only time can tell. But before we dwell with the price in the distant future, let's face first the problems that bitcoin have that can stop bitcoin to reach that potential price.

In my observation, that is a normal movement of bitcoin in this month. There might be another movement or price surge on August, then another on November and last push on December. At least that is my observation for the last two years I have been using bitcoin and watching the price movement. So we may expect a stable price unless there is a bad news that will pull the price down.

that's the spirit cavs needs to avoid the sweep even they lose this series they needed to win at least one at home, I'm sure lebron and the rest of the team will try this one, they almost have the last time if they only relax and focus from that last 2 minutes mark they win that game but maybe they need to motivate and keep fighting back.

Not just in quora, even here in bitcointalk you can read post predicting that bitcoin will die. But you have to act on what you believe about bitcoin and blockchain and not what the noise tells you. There will always be fud posts like that.
Blockchain is the technology behind bitcoin. As long as the technology keeps up with the time and the changes of the future, it will be fine.

I am not familiar with such analytical techniques, reading the market and so on makes me confused and difficult to sell or buy bitcoin at the right time. Which I know starting from last month bitcoin prices soaring ,, and this is a good time to sell some bitcoin I have. Maybe a few weeks bitcoin will continue to rise. That's my opinion

It is not about wether bitcoin is powerfull or not, we already established that a long time ago but the probelm is how it is treated these days and how the developpers are driving it into a bad path, where transactions are slow and fees are through the roof, you could already tell that it is going so bad when popele are complaining about it left and right and most of the gambling sites which are some of the main thing about using bitcoin shutting down left and right.
You are right about this, but the problem is not solely on the devs but also with the miners holding back the implementation of solution. The miners are the ones profiting on high transactions fees that is why they can delay this and still enjoy great income. |

It is good habit to track your deposit and withdrawal in gambling. But for me, it is just too much work and I do not have the discipline to do it regularly. All I do is limit my deposit so I won't go overboard on gambling expenses.

Over the years I am convinced that no amount of technical analysis will predict bitcoin price movement. It is erratic and hard to predict. The most effective is following news and speculating from there. It would be nice if that group have access to relevant news at the earliest time possible.

It is still 20 years from now OP, why do you have to settle with 1 bitcoin? You can earn more than that in that span of time.

Op started this topci may 2017 and athe price on that day is only $2000 and If they decided to buy bitcoin on that day and hold until now for they earn profit. Even today its better to buy bitcoin because the price for sure this month will be atleast $3000 per bitcoin. Many people said dont but bitcoin because the price of bitcoin its very high but i suggest to you buy bitcoin because the price become higher and higher.

first robots that can replace human in all our activities are yet to be build. and rich people who worked hard to get rich do not just lie down all day waiting to be served. those types of people are found in the streets penniless because they do not work.
and if ever we found ourselves with infinite source of money from passive income, people still have hobbies they like to do. like some rich, old retired man retreating to farms because they love planting and taking care of animals. a truly rich person is the one who is satisfied with what he have. you can buy the whole world and still feel empty inside.
