1081  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How important is customer support of an online casino for you ? on: June 06, 2018, 11:33:01 AM
I have seen some reputed casinos lagging in this aspect. They make you wait days for a reply to email. There live chats makes you wait for hours. Thus, it makes sense to check the customer support by sending mails or trying live chat before you join the forum. How important is customer support of an online casino for you ?
For me having a good customer service and a a great support is one of the key features that an online casino should have  it run constantly none stop, and they should have teams working on shifts to answer the questions of the users as fast as they can, so many casinos have had really bad reviews even though they had a good functioning websites because of the slow support response.
1082  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Amazon going into crypto raise the value of ETH? on: June 06, 2018, 10:12:34 AM
"The founder of the Ethereum blockchain platform, which is what Kaleido and AWS will be using, said this is the biggest move yet by the tech giant to get into blockchain."

https://www.cnbc.com/2018/05/15/amazon-is-moving-into-blockchain-with-a-new-partnership.html

What do you guys think? This is massive news!
The idea of creating etehreum based tokens is not something that only Amazon is thinking about, other popular platforms have been thinking of creating their own cryptocurrncy  ever since the ICO has become a widely popular thing, such is the case of Facebook and other many popular sites, and this only shows how cryptocurrency is entering its next stage, and how much it has gone, and i am pretty sure that it will only go better for ethereum from this point on, and no doubt that this will heavily effect and reflect on its price.
1083  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tired of checking charts on: June 06, 2018, 01:58:27 AM
How do you guys keep up with the charts?
Can't even sleep well anymore, if I stick to holding is it possible to make gains too ?
You don't have to check every second for the price to make good trades, it gets really stressful and it will lead you to making mistakes like panic selling when the price goes down, trading requires patience and nerves of steel and if you keep stressing out about missing a good point to sell than it will affect your overall life, there are a lot of apps and websites that will send you notifications whenever the price reach a certain point to keep you updated and not looking at the charts 24/7.
1084  Economy / Economics / Re: Us government has start probe in manipulation in value of cryptocurrency . on: June 05, 2018, 07:59:38 PM
Us government  has start probe in manipulation in value of cryptocurrency .will it effect the BTC
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-05-24/bitcoin-manipulation-is-said-to-be-focus-of-u-s-criminal-probe
I think that this is an attempt to solve the problem that the market is facing today and that is the existence of many ICOs that are legitimate scam, which are flooding it, they are creating fake purchases on tokens and coins just to trick traders into investing in them which lead to manipulating the market in a way, and this might have a big influence on the bitcoin price maybe not immediately but in the long term.
1085  Other / Off-topic / Re: How much time you spend on researching about bitcoins ? on: June 05, 2018, 07:17:56 PM
I spend about an hour daily. How much time you spend on researching about bitcoins ?
I feel like at first when you are really new to bitcoin and you have absolutely no idea about it, you should spend 2 to 3 hours a day to research the basics and the core function of bitcoin and how it works, but once you got all the basic things out of the way you should be getting less time into it because you won't find new things like you were at the start, and if you are an active member on this forum you should be able to lean new things every now and then from topics and other people's posts.
1086  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do supported payment options affect your choice of an online casino ? on: June 05, 2018, 04:24:13 PM
One should always check that the payment option you are going to use is supported on that casino. Otherwise you will not be able to deposit money there and gamble. Do supported payment options affect your choice of an online casino ?
Payment option does indeed affect my choice of which online casino i am to gamble on, in fact it affects the opinion of all bitcoin gamblers here, because they rather gamble on a casino that uses bitcoin and cryptocurrency as payment option rather than going to any online casino that uses PayPal or credit card deposit, i think that this goes to the fact that people are much more comfortable in using bitcoin because they know that their personal information is always going to stay hidden, that is why a good online casino would have multiple payment options and that is to satisfy all the needs of the user base.
1087  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does bitcoin has any intrinsic value? on: May 31, 2018, 10:34:31 PM
I am really thoughtful to know that why btc has so much value than other cryptos. Does it has any intrinsic value??
What's your opinion??
Of course not only bitcoin has a high value but that value comes from an actual asset, it is based on transaction and data transfer between people, unlike fiat money that was created by governments which was backed by gold at first and they they decided to consider paper has a value because they have the power to say so, and that is what make using bitcoin has a meaning in it and that is why governments are so afraid of it.
1088  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Altcoin price based on bitcoin price? on: May 31, 2018, 09:39:24 PM
Is price of the altcoin is based on price of the bitcoin?I have noticed the price of bitcoin falling down for past few days on same the price of altcoins are also falling down

I think that it is based on general investments in the whole cryptocurrency market, i think that whenever bitcoin goes up it raises the attention of investors who will go and invest in this market which will make the prices of other cryotocrrencies rise as well, this was the case last year when bitcoin was the thing that everyone talked about for a while and when ICOs launched they were successful and people invested a lot of them, because they realize how much money they can make from investing in cryptocurrency.
1089  Economy / Economics / Re: Speculation on BTC on: May 31, 2018, 09:29:31 PM
I was reading the Speculation section from the Economics forum yesterday, and two guys from the BTC Foundation said that 2018 will be the last time that Bitcoin will be under $10,000. I believe that this statement was made to lessen the worry that comes about every time that BTC drops. I don't know how anyone could make that statement in full faith though, as the nature of altcoins is its very volatility. Since it is not tied to normal economic conditions as fiat currency is, I don't quite see where that prediction comes from. The fact that many economies are talking about some type of oversight does show that acceptance is gaining and perhaps is a harbinger of more stable, and higher, prices.
All what people say about the price or how it is going to change are just mere predictions based on nothing but their view of the market and how it is changing and the conditions that it is in, and you should never take them as a given fact, because this market is all about volatility and it is quite unpredictable so no one knows when it will change or how it is going to.
1090  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Darkness Is Gradually Disappearing and Dawn Is Coming on: May 31, 2018, 09:21:30 PM
All of this is just a mere prediction based on what happen in the past years, and back then bitcoin was not in the same situation that it is at right now, back then governments did not pay to much attention to it, but right now it is faced by regulations and laws from various countries and also the cryptocurrnecy market has changed a lot and new investments in it have shown up, but bitcoin is always gonna go up and that is a known fact, but by how much and when that i the unknown, so just hold and pray.

Rating of TOP 10 eSports Sportsbooks see here: http://100bookies.com/esports-sportsbooks-eng/
Based on what these sites have been rated, because last time i checked Betonline has been having some really bad reviews from many people and i am surprised that it is in the top list of the crypto sports betting sites, people complain that it has very ridiculous fees and deposits from credit cards take a lot of time to get confirmed, and a very bad customer services, i think that rating these sites should be based on users's reviews not by how much traffic the website get.
1092  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there any crypto exchange platforms without fees? on: May 31, 2018, 08:14:56 PM
We are making research about free crypto trading platforms.

Can anyone suggest some good exchanges without trading and withdrawal fees?

BTW if there are free crypto exchanges why they are not very popular?

There are no free exchange platforms out there that will do it for free, if there are they are a scam and you should stay away from them because they will defiantly take your money, the thing that you should be looking for is the exchange with the lowest fees on exchange and withdraw, and for this recommend using livecoin.net which i have found that it is the lowest by far.
1093  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and Economy on: May 31, 2018, 07:43:38 PM
We all know that the development of a certain country comes from the taxes of its citizens, and we all know people who engage bitcoin don't pay taxes to the government, what will happen to a country where 80% of its citizens engage in cryptocurrency?

There is a big possibility that this things might happen In the future because bitcoin is growing faster and very known today.

In reality people who are using bitcoin to evade paying taxes usually they may get away with it for now because they are not that many, but i am sure at a certain point when this number starts growing governments will notice this and they would start regulating it and forcing people who are engaged in bitcoin to pay their taxes, and this is one of the biggest issues that bitcoin faces today.
1094  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the most trustable and famous gambling website? on: May 31, 2018, 07:22:59 PM
I have some few units to spare and I'd like to try my luck!  Grin I tried to browse the marketplace/gambling but there are so many... What is the gambling website you use? If you ever used them...  Smiley
I think you shouldn't take people's recommendations so blindly because, they may be using an online casino that they are comfortable with but you don't, and it also it depends on what you are going to play, some gambling websites may be good at one game and really bad at others so you have to take that in mind, i personally would recommend fortunejack for dice and blackjack, because they have a very user friendly ui and fast transactions, and they don't take any fees on withdraw.
1095  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LTC price over $400 again? on: May 31, 2018, 02:28:04 PM
When it is possible, LTC hits $400 again? Now it's around $120/LTC.
I don't think that litecoin right now is the best to hold for a long term, there is a possibility with all the crypto market going up it will change its situation, it is an unpredictable market after all, but it is better to sell what you have and invest it in another coin that will most likely go up real good with the rise rather than waiting for a long time to get, i would suggest something like Ethereum because it is much better and has more potential than Litecoin.
1096  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is this right time to re-enter into Bitcoin? on: May 30, 2018, 11:14:43 PM
Hey everyone,
Today we saw sudden fall on btc.so I was thinking is this right time to buy some btc or wait for more dip..what do you think..
Please reply in comment
A lot of people see this fall in price a bad thing, but they don't see that this an opportunity for them to invest more into bitcoin and the ones who haven't invested in it to reconsider that, the first half of the year has not been kind on the bitcoin price or the market but i am sure within time and with more people getting into it, the price will rise again high than ever and people would regret questioning its potential.
1097  Economy / Economics / Re: World debt hits new record: good for BTC on: May 30, 2018, 10:44:45 PM

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-04-18/world-debt-hits-record-164-trillion-as-crisis-hangover-lingers

$164 trillion! That is an awfully big pile of money, but governments think it's not big enough. They keep on borrowing more every year. If there's no crash, it will be a miracle.

Pray God.
Or buy BTC!
Grin

It is good for bitcoin, but i think that at this point people don't care about this whole thing, i mean government could do whatever they want, just thinking about how we went from money backed by gold into just using just paper that has value because they said so, and because they have the power to do that, and it is what bitcoin faces right now, and that is governments have the power to ban it and potentially bring it down.
1098  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How educate yourself about crypto? on: May 30, 2018, 10:27:06 PM
What blogs or channels do you prefer most when you need to get knowledge about crypto, wallets and crypto market? Just found hacker noon on medium and CCN website:) Can you share more?
The best way i think that you could educate yourself about cryptocurrency, is this forum by far it is the best, when i first started on this forum i was overwhelmed with all what people where talking about in every topic, but what i did is when i ever i see any topic that has terms that i don't know i go and search them or ask about it, and by time i had a basic knowledge and until this day i still keep learning more and more from people around here.
1099  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Addiction Stories! on: May 30, 2018, 10:10:36 PM
Just curious to read some addict or former addict stories and probably some of us like me will be glad to see how things actually did roll in for them during this period and I believe some other persons tending towards that path can also learn from it. Also, if you have a friend or relative you can speak for, it would be appreciated.

Personally, this is what I would like to know though.

1. How did you find yourself ending up to become an addict? What instigated it to the point that you just found yourself not being able to control the impulse any longer? What was the feeling like and during those period of being an addict, did you know and were you willing to pop out of it?

2. What were the steps you took or the steps you are taking to get out from it, and on the scale of 1 to 10, how can you rate how you are doing now?

3. For those who are out of it, do you still gamble or still wish you could? In the case where you are still gambling, how do you want to make sure what happened initially does not end up repeating itself.

4. Any other thing you feel you can add is welcome.
I ended up becoming addicted to gambling when i first tried some sports betting and i got extremely lucky i won like 500$ from just putting 20$, wining that much money gave me the feel of power, and rush so i got addicted to that feeling and i would always try to get that win again even after losing a lot, at the point where i was broke, and as soon as i get paid i spend all my payment in a day on gambling, at that point my friends told me to stop and told me if i am going to keep this up i would end up messing up my future, and so to help me with getting rid of it they would always keep me busy with other activities and they took control of my bank account for a while so i won't go spend it on gambling, and after a while i stopped craving for that feeling that i got from gambling.
1100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $1000 to spend on altcoins on: May 30, 2018, 09:25:44 PM
Hello Everyone,

I have $1000 to spend on altcoins.

Which one(s) do you recommend?
Or should I stick to BTC?

Thanks!

Jordy

I personally think that you should just stick to bitcoin, you can't go wrong with it because it is something that is always going to keep on increasing in terms of price and it increases at high rate compared to the other coins, etherum might be a good investment as well but it is kind of risky and even if it goes up it will go up by a few hundreds, so bitcoin is a safer and more profitable route.
