Very unlikely I will ever enter Canada again, as well. Mexico, or South America by the looks of it, appear to be the limits imposed on us, presently. Very sad about that. I personally could give a shit if I ever travel outside of the U.S. ever again. Already did that 25 years ago, and the europeans I encountered treated me like crap everywhere I went (e.g., got spit at once in broad daylight just for being an American, got scammed, got taken advantage of due to language barriers, etc.). I can only imagine that it is way worse today for americans traveling abroad. Plus there are so many fantastic sites, monuments, and events to see right in the USA. I've lived through the past bull runs of 2013 and 2017, and TBH, even having the experience of 2013 behind me, the bull run of 2017 still disappointed me. Because at that time, I believed way to hard that "this time is different". But it wasn't any different. In both 2013 and 2017 cases there was a blow off top, and a bounce to a lower level top, and then finally months later, a high-volume capitulation. So what do I see when I look at the current 2021 chart? A blow off top, and a bounce that we are currently in, that looks like a lower top forming. I still don't see a high-volume capitulation yet. Will a capitulation happen this time, or will we just blow past that? I don't really know, I can't say. But something inside tells me it's possible that this time is no different than any of the others. This market just loves to make "fools of the bulls" almost every fkn time. Just my 2c. I will hodl no matter what happens. |

It looks weak AF to me. I mean, I think everything is OK & we should rally in Q4 but we really need to start moving up soon. Part of me is fucking concerned if I’m honest.
In the summer of 2016 it pumped to $800, then crashed to below $600 in September. By December/January it had pumped to over $1000. September seems to be a crap month for the price. I personally don't think the price is going to do crapola until January 1st or after. But I can't say stuff like that here, because: 1. JJG and others will jump on me and call me a bear 2. I'm not a S2F cultist like most of the crypto twitterverse 3. I'm open and happy to being wrong. I hodl regardless of what the price does. |

WO is better because it's family. It has a ridiculous preponderance of weird uncles, but it's still family.
My experience with family is a bit different. Blood doesn't matter. I've disinherited family from my estate. Even family can be absolute garbage human. I hear ya bro. With my SO, we are at a point now where we're about to completely disassociate from her family. Perhaps forever, or at least only see them rarely once every few years. They are the worst people. A bunch of narcissists that only care about themselves. They never inquire about other people when family gets together, only brag about themselves constantly. They are somewhat educated but are poor, don't have a pot to piss in but act like they aren't poor. They have Mt. Stupid level knowledge on just about every topic, but think they know literally everything and are the experts. They only admire people with credentials and academics, not people who have made it to wealth by any other means. They also have bent views of politics and the world...aka delusional. And they are also a bunch of Communists as well as hypocrites. We just got back from a family visitation not too long ago, and started to really question whether going out of our way to visit them anymore was good for our mental health and time spent. |

I will not take a thesis on the Lightning network yet, until I see for myself. But reading the recent posts on WO, I can already feel that something is not quite right.
And when I hear about it and think about it from a layperson/Average Joe's perspective who is actually expected to use the LN, as well as merchants who are expected to plug in, it sounds even worse. Crossing my fingers that it can all be salvaged. |

In fact, the more people there are that believe the S2F model definitely will happen, the more that whale traders will have an incentive to NOT make it happen and do the opposite, fucking over both leveraged longs and shorts, and trying to shake out more weak-handed hodlers.

They buy a small piece of bitcoin and sit on it, waiting for their delayed lottery ticket to strike a winner X months down the road, all because some chart has "promised" them that a certain price will come true by a certain date. Like that is a 100% certainty. What happens when things don't turn out like they were lead to believe? Will they all lose their shit, sell at a loss and become nocoiners again? We all know that eventually the bitcoin price will rise to new ATHs. It's not a matter of if, but when. Because ongoing money printer go brrr and massive inflation is here to stay. That should be the guide that most investors follow, not some chart projection. It's a long term, lifetime investment. |
