1121  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to overcome the fear of holding? on: December 23, 2017, 01:14:54 PM
I've always been one who sells to earlier, either to minimize my losses or to realize my earnings ASAP and leave. I've seen in most of my investments, if not all that if I would've just left the coins there they would've been worth 10-50x what I put in before. This is upsetting as a person and trader, as I see how much money I'm missing out on.

How do you traders do it, hold and hold and hold. Waiting around for more and more money?

It is up to you how will you overcome your fear but me i was also scared before in losing money in this thing we always lose money we need to remember before we will pursue this thing we need to know that we can always lose money any moment and we should not be afraid with that because we can always win back our money it is up to us how we gonna win that back we just need to have a lot of source of income and do not stick in only one source of income.
The fear will always come initially, most especially for new investors. It is normal as you cannot see your investment running down without being scared.

Nevertheless, the main reason why we keep telling everyone to invest what they can afford to lose is so that they can at least be strong enough to withstand all the volatility risk that comes with bitcoin and once they understand that the benefit is in the future and not now, and then they will learn to hold without fear.
1122  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to preditct coin price? on: December 23, 2017, 10:50:09 AM
i really don't understand how the price increase or decrease?i saw that price coin changes randomly. If anyone help to know trading,I will be very grateful.

That's one of the benefits of using bitcoin, the price cannot be predicted.
That is not really a benefit and neither is it a disadvantage. That is something that is just normal. There is a lot of uncertainty in the market but when the market is normal not like what we are having now with everything going red, then you can at least make some predictions based on what you can expect from the market, but sometimes, it may not work out, and that is the reason for the stop loss.

only your luck can help you out to make a profit in cryptocurrencies. predicting up and down is not possible.
Luck is not needed when you are trading cryptocurrency. Your knowledge, idea, and how to play safe in the market is all that you need. If you do not have those and you are capitalizing on your luck, then bro, you are gambling, you are not trading. So many people do this all the time and they really do mess up their funds rather than just holding it.
1123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull market on: December 23, 2017, 10:14:44 AM
This run has still not touched the levels reached at the end of May and 1st week of June this year.  The USD value is way up for altcoins but the bitcoin value is still less than 50% for a lot of altcoins from the last bull run.  2018 is going to be interesting, will we carry these prices into 2018 for momentum who knows.
2018 will be really going to be an interesting year for a lot of these alts.
They were suppressed enough with the lot of activities that took place with bitcoin this year and with upcoming years, I can imagine how some of these alts are really going to be having a swell time trying to have a top position in the market and just some few ones with some good products and solid team will last anyway but they are really worth holding.
1124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ripple will be $ 3 at the end of the year! Or not? on: December 23, 2017, 06:46:48 AM
Nope, i think xrp is maxed out! $1 is all you'll get this year, perhaps next year it might go $3+ and bitcoin probably be $50k+ when that happens.

We will see! But it seems to me that if BTC rolls back up to $ 10,000, a lot of investors will start looking towards XRP and from this there will be growth.
A lot of investors looking towards XRP ? Come on ! Even if bitcoin gets to that stage, do you think there are no other coins that can do it much better ? The possibilities are still there for BTC to still correct further but no one can really say anything right now as TA are even getting abandoned by the charts.

Let us see how the predictions go though. I am not really expecting anything much again, but yeah, it is crypto market, anything goes these days as we have seen a lot of coins overgrow themselves just within a very short period. So, I would not say if it is possible or not for now and just see how things turn out at the end, but I would not really count on it too much.
1125  Economy / Marketplace / Re: 1 Year in Cryptocurrency still no luck earning bitcoin. Need some real advice. on: December 22, 2017, 06:38:23 PM
Need some expert or real advice on how I can earn bitcoin. thanks

The title says 1 year.
I wonder what are you doing in the past months, if you are reading enough here then 3 months youre going to be well familiarize in the forum, in a month or two you can be familiarize in trading platforms and trading cryptocurrencies and I dont think 8 months is a little time to earn those skills.
The only thing that will stop your from earning is gambling, wrong knowledge in crypto and trading and your personal desires.
Step back a little and make a new perspective. The only one who can really help is yourself.
3 months is enough to even start earning something good. It does not even have to be in bitcoin as you can start a little with bounties and see where that gets and 1 year is just crazily absurd that someone has been out there for a whole year and people just keep passing him by making money while he is not making any single stuff ? He really needs help indeed.
1126  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Soon I start my investment fund. on: December 22, 2017, 05:59:56 PM
Why would you think, that you'll be successful ...more than others?
Probably, he thinks it is the crypto world, anything goes and as long as he is there doing something, there would always be that person who would invest in the project even if it ends up being successful. I feel that is the new area most people are just busy looking at to be rich these days and then paving away with wannabe investors’ money. Any right investor should know where to invest anyway. Just my own piece.
1127  Economy / Marketplace / Re: I only have 200$ per month ! on: December 22, 2017, 12:23:04 PM
If you believe that the technology is awesome and bitcoin will be valuable in the long run then i dont see any problem investing into it. But even so investing is a risky thing to do cause no one can really tell what can happen so i suggest invest only the money you can afford to lose or if you're a risk taker go all in. After all its all up to you so you should take time research the platform your about to invest on, to know its features and protocols and why is it in demand.
In fact, it is so glaring for anyone not to believe that this is a technology that has come to stay and there is just so much to get from here that anyone can at least make sure they try their best with some effort to get the best of it.
$200 is a good amount to start with considering how it can grow within a short while. The crypto world is still fresh, with a lot coming and more investors as years roll by.
1128  Economy / Economics / Re: lest we forget, Bitcoin is a blessing. on: December 22, 2017, 11:35:53 AM
Yeah it is a blessing and I hope it will continue like this. BTC has given opportunity for the other classes as well to earn money and gain profits, it`s a blessing also for the middle and low class.

Well being easy to use and not too complicated to understand, i agree with you. You just have to believe in it and have the guts to make a risk. It's a blind risk anyway as everything points to a great btc future. Again we just have to believe
The perfect thing about it is that once you know the real reason why you are investing, and then one would know it is a risk but a risk worthy of taking for the future. When I started getting to know about bitcoin, I was so keen about what it could offer that I never bothered about what the value would be or considering it as an asset, and funny enough, it even paid off more than I could have expected for holding all these while. A blessing that came in a way that I never expected.

For those who believed in the technology right from the onset and bought into it, I am sure it won't have just been a jolly ride for them right now, but a very pretty one. The blessing is just starting and we are about to get hit with a huge blessing than we can ever expect. It is sure going to take some time to get there as Rome was not built in a day, but the future is surely bright.
1129  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen if the government know bitcoin in your country? on: December 22, 2017, 09:18:55 AM
I think they will ban bitcoin because of the fearful that may affect of the economics of my country but i disagree there opinion because working bitcoin is very helpful for me especially the support financial.

I agree with you.
But.. The government in my country does not seem to have a clear regulation on virtual currencies including bitcoins. the general attitude of government in my country is still unclear, they just do not admitted digital currency like bitcoin. .. even to determine the bitcoin as a commodity or not also unclear.
Same here! There are some exchanges though in my country and with the KYC going on, on all the exchanges which can be pretty tight, then I am sure there are some silent regulations going on even if it is not fully announced.

Bitcoin is going to be a great one for any country that really utilizes it and see something great in it, but due to greed and corruption, some countries may actually see the benefit as a disadvantage for them rather than thinking about the country itself.
1130  Economy / Economics / Re: Still Buying Bitcoin at $100K? on: December 21, 2017, 05:50:45 PM
I do not think I will buy bitcoin if the price reaches $ 100k, because it is very expensive and I should look for bitcoin through signature campaign. In signature campaigns by getting bitcoin will be very profitable and I will start investing after I get bitcoin.
A lot of people are always complaining about expensive, but they have failed to understand that even as at now, so many people are still considering bitcoin's value to still be expensive. So, when will the whole expensive thing stop ? When 1 satoshi is equivalent to a dollar ?

No one knows the peak of bitcoin but as long as I have vision for just those tiny satoshis and the fact that bitcoin will be very useful in the long run, and then I am still going to buy even at $1m.

Even at $100k value, a lot of people will still be buying bitcoin. I see that by then, hopefully a lot of things would have changes, most especially in the usability of bitcoin and that would have really made the value to keep skyrocketing to the point that people won't really bother the amount they are buying as long as it is useful, there is value for it. So far, Zimbabwe has really thought me that, even at a higher value, as long as people need it, then it is non-stop.
1131  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will reach 20k price point before Christmas on: December 21, 2017, 05:09:50 PM
Judging the pattern and graph, I believe each btc will cost 20k before Christmas arrives. What do you think?

Right now it's value is $18000.Your guessing is 20k, If it happen before Christmas it really very boosting to all bitcoin users.
But cannot we say surely it will definitely happen. Everyone knows that bitcoin is a digital currency. Cannot we predict something like to occur. Some haphazard juncture the boosting of value may take the place. Let see what will happen..
Anything that happens to the value of bitcoin should be a good thing for the bitcoin users.
If the price increases, great as the one that is being held would keep increasing and if it gets down, it would just be a good time to buy in the more and nothing so different at all.

The possibility is still there even after the long dip but anything can still happen. Those who want to take profit are all gone and now we have sanity back into the market.
1132  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin crash on: December 21, 2017, 01:15:36 PM
Don't mistake a crash with a health correction. If you haven't bought in yet, just wait until the next rally and never catch a falling knife.

This is most probably just a normal and healthy correction. I wouldn't be afraid as long as there's no bad news yet.
Apparently, just a very normal one which has been anticipated for a long time now and that to me is an awesome one. At least with that, we know the market is doing well and like you said, even with bad news, bitcoin still shows several signs of thriving which to me is a very good thing which shows how strong the market really is.

Times have changed and a lot of investors are looking for a new buy opportunity and with the strength of the market being tested, no one is busy waiting for a very long dip as they know there are already people on ground ready to quickly buy it up if they do not act fast which is the reason why the bears do not last that much and that is some strength to be happy about.
1133  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will be stable Bitcoin Price? on: December 21, 2017, 12:41:41 PM
In the near future, bitcoin's volatility will not decrease.
The launch of futures sales will only contribute to this.
The launch of future sales will not have that much effect on the value in the long run and what is causing the steep rise and fall that we are having now is because there is just so much uncertainty, a lot of fear and doubt just because it is simply a speculative market when of course it should be more of a currency and something with a great value which is why I see this present stage as a bubble and I hope it is going to sustain itself in the long run if something is done with the scaling issue.
1134  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Pump and Dump. How to make a profit? on: December 21, 2017, 10:56:05 AM
no one can predict the pump and dump when it will happen, we can only see the development and graphics that exist in the coin, if the coin has a good developer it will happen pump up to thousands of %.
No one can know when it will happen, but you can at least predict the period when it could happen but that is simply not a guarantee that it would happen anyway. It is a lot risky but at least when you enter when the market of this coin is down and you wait for some little period, you can actually hit some jackpot but holding for too long without some stop loss is risky.

we can work together with pump and dump groups on the internet or telegram also a lot, but we must be jelly to determine buy or not because frankly people in the group have bought first and we can be dropped or dumped when they already feel getting a lot of profit.
Unless you have a very huge number of people in this group, it will not even work. However, it is always the person calling the shot that is making a lot of money in the process as they must have bought when the market was a lot down and then call the hit and those who are gullible enough buy at the prices they have set for selling until they get totally dumped on.
1135  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I dont like daytrading on: December 21, 2017, 07:36:11 AM
Even though much profit can be made. And i did a bit. But truth is... i dont like it. It gives me a weird unpleasant feeling. Because to me its just swapping air if all u buy and sell for is money. I love crypto and to me it feels like daytrading is raping it. Ur not really standing behind the idea and product anymore. Im not hating on daytraders or anything. Just doesnt seem my thing. I allways had the same in poker, taking lunchmoney and the game is what its about to me. Whenever i played higher stakes it just didnt felt right and even when i won a nice bit it even depressed me.
Day trading is not for the fainthearted, and I won't really say it is actually good enough to day trade when you can just settle for the big wins by having an entry position with some good analysis. Day trading requires a lot and it can be extremely stressful which is something I cannot imagine myself doing no matter how much people are making from it, I am good enough with what I am earning with positioning trading.
1136  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trading or working in signature campaigns? on: December 21, 2017, 06:57:15 AM
The current bitcoin is too high to include in the campaigns instead there are many campaigns that will pay in $. I think the next $ will be the main tool used to pay for the campaigns.
The signature campaigns are not paying in USD, they are still paying in bitcoins and the only thing different now is because of the high increase within a very short period of time, they prefer to rather state the payment in USD and pay the participants the amount in bitcoin as at the payment period. It is crazy knowing that you will have to be changing the payment every now and then so as to blend with the current price as a manager.

As long as you have all the capacity to do everything this days and you are not lazy, campaigns would always seem to be the best option anyway. Ike they always say, what is the point settling for less, when you can settle for more, and the more you do with some little bit of effort, the more you get in return and the good thing is that signature campaign does not require a lot, just the usual learning, contributing and getting incentives for it.
1137  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you think its the right time to sell Bitcoin ? on: December 21, 2017, 06:13:02 AM
There is no such right time to sell bitcoin. It depends on when you have purchase and with what expectation have purchase.Expectation here means what are your expectations with price, till what you want to hold.Once the price of bitcoin satisfy your expectation than its your call when to sell,That phase is the right phase until the price drops. This theory applies in every type trading. So you decide whether to sell or to hold.
That pretty much sums it up. What is the point trying to sell now anyway and what is the point also asking if you have what you are targeting.

Anyone who feels bitcoin is good enough to stop holding for them, that is their own decision to make and luckily for them, they may end up being able to buy at dips. Right now, it does not seem like a good thing to do for me though, considering that I still have some years ahead I am targeting.
1138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is EMC2 pump and dump coin or something else on: December 20, 2017, 05:05:18 PM
I sense some sour grapes for missing the ×20+ Wink
Some sour grapes indeed. I am sure he missed the huge rise in the trend of EMC2 and then he got so angry for not being a part of it.

Every pump even with a good project now can be pumped, but that does not make it a pump and dump shitty coin. Pump and dump coins up rise happens within few seconds or minutes and they are back to where they started, but EMC2 has been having some rides but could not just sustain itself on support level.
1139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Rising on: December 20, 2017, 04:32:05 PM
Ethereum is now at $469 and rising. together with Ethereum classic, they are the top gainers in the last few days. Is Ethereum the future? majority say that it is not scalable. how true is this
Well its a great news for those people who are holding ethereum in their wallet. Its good to know that not just bitcoin only are growing but also those coin followed to it. Its just a simple indication that ethereum was in improving and becoming competent in the market of cryptocurrency. Im hoping for the continue growing of this coin. And looking for it to reach $1,000 by next year.
It is really great news. Some of these coins have done really so well and so many of them will also do even more in coming years as the devs keep working hard and announcing the development so far. The thing that is interesting is that, it is a tough market even for them and only those who can do a great perfect job as devs will last in the market and will survive.

But in long run, I always doubt with any altcoin even for its survival as a new innovation will be more than enough to make eth to fade away from the investors portfolio which will do in terms of trader's perspective too.
1140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to find about upcoming coins? on: December 20, 2017, 02:11:36 PM
That's one question which I am pondering as well. There are so many things happening at the same time, you just can't keep track of all of them.
Would love to hear some kind of advice on it. I watch coinmarketcap a lot, youtube to find out about things, twitter.. But it is not the most efficient way of getting the information
Coinmarketcap has really been a lot of help but knowing that you just cannot get your head around most of them as they are just so much, I try to just get on some altcoin news online to probably do some research on some of them.
I remember how I always get so confused and tired trying to use coinmarketcap considering the number of the coins in the market, and how long it takes to at least do some thorough research on a coin.
