Not too hard, remember to try both ways of getting cgwatcher to run on startp, registry not always works on my rigs and I gotta rely on the startup folder method (dropdown menu in settings, cgwatcher)

EDIT: and the linux oc soft? I want precision x for linux :p -will donate if these things come out-

happy with a basic command line tool, too? Wink

Yeah, sure thing Cheesy

Getting 248mh/s per GTX 780 at 1201mhz core.

Hey guys,

A friend has 2x 690s

The 690s have dual-cores so when running benchmarking the following GPUs are listed:
GPU #0
GPU #1
GPU #2
GPU #3

There are also 4 GPU's listed in the device manager in windows.

We can only get GPU #0 and GPU #1 to mine in a pool however.
Can anyone advise if they are using the hashing power of the other cores on the circuit board, or whether we have missed something in the config.

Currently using:
Quote
cudaminer.exe -H 2 -d 0,1 -l K16x16,K16x16 -i 1,0

I know the above is specified for 2 cards but not sure if this is relating to cores? Should we setup another bat file and define -d 2,3 ?
Didn't want to experiment with this incase it forced too much load onto the cards or something.

Thanks for any help in advance.

Same bat, -d 0,1,2,3 ?

Here's my roadmap for continued development

1) fix the issue with PCIe bandwidth, so people with 1x risers are more happy. CUDA can do all the
hash evaluation so we save a LOT of bus bandwidth.

2) Add blake256 for blakecoin and related coins.

3) look at implementing some failover options

4) see if I can get a monitoring API included

Nvidia will give you some big $$...would turn those 40w/350kh/s 750ti's into proper mining cards if you did.

EDIT: and the linux oc soft? I want precision x for linux :p -will donate if these things come out-

Why are everyone's 780s or Titans so slow? :p

Mine can do 700kh/s without breaking a sweat...and more.  Huh
1126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: February 28, 2014, 12:03:05 AM
Compiling windows binaries is SO complicated Sad
I wanna try the new nvidia n factor 14 kernel.
Page 130 still works Wink

Gonna try it tonight...  Cool

Is there an option to restart computer if it is freezing? Or any other possibilty?

Nope, if you get a bsod or other type of windows crash you need someone to hit the reset/power button Sad
With linux you can 99% of the time reboot remotely via ssh/putty.

A good solution is a remote wall outlet/pdu, equipped with a phone line or ethernet port.
Either that or making an arduino remote reboot device.

I don't see the point of passive cooling given that the fans on the 750Ti cards are some of the quietest out there.

I would pull my hat for a mod that made the cooling of a 750 Ti a single slot solution. i.e. rip the cooler from an 8800 GT and fix it to the 750 Ti Wink

ALSO: I really want a low profile version of 750 or 750 Ti.

Christian

Hell yeah! Me too Cheesy

I'd build lots and lots of 990fxa-ud5 rigs with 5 750ti's and a single 400w psu.

I've received a bit of an optimization from nVidia engineers for the t and k kernels used in Yacoin. It will add an extra kHash/s to 780, Titan and 780Ti devices for N-factor 14 coins.  I am going to try this tonight, and maybe push an update if I can confirm the gains.

Seems these guys are doing my job now, lol Wink

Christian

Amazing news! Hopefully that gets me in the 7kh/s range with my 780 :p (one can dream eh)
Wonder what it'll do for Maxwell.

It's really strange, I had success one time installing wireless drivers in the x86 os.
Rebooted and drivers were gone, tried again and it didn't wokr  Huh

This is really confusing to say the least :p

That would be excellent!

I received today my 1 to 16 riser and I am testing it. Apparently it seems to work well.
I was rather unsure as I have to plug the monitor into the 290x to get the temp readout and oc, but it seems to work fine
(it becomes just a bit laggy when I need to modify a setting in afterburner, even though it is for the other card) now the temps are fine for both card. However the motherboard tends to get hot (45°C, but it is less than before).
In terms of hashrate, I don't see any difference (but it is for a radeon) actually it hashes faster as I can increase a bit the TDP and keeping the card relatively cool.

And the 750s on risers? :p

We don't care bout radeon...not much, already well documented xD

What cards do you have?
1136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][YAC] YACoin ongoing development on: February 26, 2014, 04:17:14 AM
That definitely sounds like a nice idea...the basic QT wallet is due for an improvement, even if it's a cosmetic one.
Yac and other variable N factor coins will become way bigger soon.
1137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: February 26, 2014, 03:02:12 AM
Anyone who runs multiple nVidia cards on risers?

I am looking into running 5-6 cards per rig, but i think someone earlier in this thread mentioned that cudaMiner still has some trouble with high traffic so that risers could be a problem. (1x to 16x risers, 5 or 6 per rig)

Get a quad sli capable board...use 4 per rig.

Umm, just noticed I still had MtGox prices in profit calc and donations progress bar.
Fixed now (bitstamp prices).

Thanks! It was kind of annoying xD (stupid Gox, die already...)

I poured tons of money into litecoin when I was young and stupid last year, and I pulled out prior to the chinese boom Sad I was banking on gox adding ltc... please, please die and never comeback, Gox. Thankfully, I refused to use it as of a couple months ago. Now we just need bter to disappear as well.

BTW I think there needs to be another YAC/BTC exchange. How about a YAC/BTC ONLY exchange?

Also, completely unrelated, I type walletpassphrase <passphrase> 999999999 true in the console in order to get proof of stake. Is there a different way other than leaving the wallet unencrypted? If not, we desperately need a more user-friendly interface in terms of proof of stake. Also, I can gauge what coins will be staked only by looking at send coins and then inputs, and I then look at time/date all my coins were received. There must be a better way for non-computer-savvy people... And can we interchange the term 'interest' with proof of stake?

walletpassphrase pw 999999 true only unlocks it for minting pos blocks afaik, not regular usage.

Sorry, but I  searched last pages but I did'nt find it:  how I can raise the clock gpu over the limit 1310 (100% in evga or afterburner)
I think about flash with kepler, but what parameter I should change?

Afterburner sucks for nvidia, use EVGA Precision X.
