1161  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to smell fraud in projects and detect Ponzi schemes from far as a Newbie on: August 21, 2023, 03:35:26 AM
Sometime we already know its a ponzi but still we are going for it. Why? In crypto being risky is a very common ground especially for shit worth looking projects. All the info you said is correct and thats what everyone should be focusing. But if the project has certain traction, some people even intelligent one forgot the purpose of the project and as long as they see money printing about this one they join it. Regardless if theres a cross check on the points you provided.
1162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Any thoughts on Friend(dot)tech circulating now on Twitter? on: August 21, 2023, 02:51:27 AM
As far as the title goes, surely some of you have noticed this trend about the social thing on friend tech. Lots of influencers have gaining extra money and eth upon creation of their profile which were bought by other people and collecting massive fees on trading and the value it gives them. Ive tried it out to see how it goes and it really favors CT and influencers that are famous. What are your thoughts on this? Ive seen some doing a quick buck trading as well. Its like a systematic nft trading but with the use of profile as commodity.

Not sure the trend will stay strong as some are just making money when the price rise up already and sold. Wanted to know anyones opinions. Or does anyone also try it already? They have a point system which updated every friday but not sure what this for, could be an airdrop thing.
1163  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: YOU ARE LUCKY TO BE IN THIS FORUM on: August 20, 2023, 03:39:35 PM
Got a point. Without this forum I probably knew bitcoin and crypto as a simple investment like normal stock on the market. But with the things Ive learned here and earned through different methods are undeniably the best experience for me related to crypto. Youll learn things on your own and youll remember that its not easy at first but now when someone talking about it youll just smile and nod that hey I know what their talking about. Cheesy
1164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Monero so unpopular? on: August 20, 2023, 02:04:41 PM
Privacy is a necessary feature in my opinion, but why hasn't Monero become a main coin?
I dont think its not a main coin. Being in top 100 projects based on coingecko and coinmarketcap is one of the main coins or tokens. Its based their listing on marketcap and they have a huge one compared to other competitors. Not to the point that will head on like bitcoin since its really the number 1 coin. Privacy is important too but with the case of monero many exchanges wouldnt like their style thats why some got them delisted before on major cex.
1165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New bull market or new bear market ahead? on: August 20, 2023, 12:37:57 PM
Upon seeing this comment I just realized that we are in a ghost month. It's a Chinese belief but knowing how big its economy is and its worldwide contribution then I won't be surprised if many non-Chinese are also practicing the same beliefs when it comes to the open market.
Yes with that scenario Im sure even non Chinese would eb caution. But if you are a holder, then nothing to worry cause everyone knows after the ghost month it will be the real market movement. This drop is now occuring due to that reason but as September approaches that will be the start of a new market trend.

If you got more stables then you could add many altcoin in this bargain sale.
1166  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Factor behind the rise and fall of Bitcoin price on: August 19, 2023, 11:52:23 PM
Theres a gap in bitcoin cme that needs to be filled probably will touch down for that level and eventually do a reversal. Market seems to be roller coster ride for now and the fact that this is ghost month right now. Many factors affecting it but mostly through trading perspective. Some fundamental might pulled it down but its obvious that there is not much volume thats why its down.
1167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New bull market or new bear market ahead? on: August 19, 2023, 11:40:39 PM
Right now, it is looking very bearish for our coins because recently, we had a big loss. Bitcoin and Ethereum almost dropped 10%.
But Bitcoin and Ethereum are still up from previous gains.
It is very difficult if we will have new bull market or new bear market ahead.

What is your personal expectation?
Relax mate. We are in the midst of month of August and this is the time where mostly believe of ghost month where everything went down. Obviously sensitive traders and people who are into this belief are probably converted into stable for a while and waiting for this to end and surely will buy back once the market regain again. I dont know but its normal when this month arrived. Btc and eth chart are both fine and we just need more volume to compensate those -10%
1168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins airdrops you received so far for the year 2023 on: August 19, 2023, 02:57:39 PM
How's everyone doing with SEI airdrop? Cheesy
Im happy mate I didnt do sei testnet haha save some time for the effort and time doing various task. Kidding aside, this is worst for our testnet participants receiving candy tokens from a very hard task. Though Im kinda expecting the results since they are gonna reward too many wallets with a limited budget that includes unexpected introduced criteria like the othet network interactions.
1169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top altcoin that you won't buy anymore on: August 19, 2023, 10:08:07 AM
For long term maybe a lot on the basket that I eont buy anymore. But for short term I could always do some short order depends on the potential on an upside. But why wasted time and money on buying them if you gonna hold for long term right? I might agree on you about tron since Im not a fan of Justin and how he handle tron though I like tron usdt when doing fund transfer as it is the lowest one can be used for transaction with low fees.
1170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to tell if a new coin is worth investing in! on: August 19, 2023, 08:42:28 AM
If a coin introduces a completely new technology that enables a different function and is sustainable in the long term, does it have the potential to be a worthwhile investment?
Yes if its really worth investing and attractive why not. Most coins and tokens without new gimmick cant work in the degen market. Remember the hype on br20? These are new hype that surround bitcoin blockchain that are become mainstream to some OGs and see it become a trend and some gains a lot.
1171  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: IT'S BITCOIN.ORG 15 YEARS ANNIVERSARY AND NO ONE IS CELEBRATING on: August 18, 2023, 12:21:25 PM
Sometimes I forget about this but since there are no congratulatory responses means they dont acknowledged the anniversary of the domain. Obviously none cause we are in the forum. I even think the pizza event or historical details are much important or familiar by community than this one.

But is there any official celebration for bitcoin which was recognized by a lot of community and users?
1172  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Thousands of XRP transferred from a Ledger wallet purchased from a reseller!! on: August 18, 2023, 11:37:34 AM
Besides, I don't trust the lady statement after she twisted the whole conversation into the idea of increasing her Youtube video view for monetization purpose which I believe is the main reason of her story from the beginning.
It is really seems that this could be a conspiracy theory. If you noticed how she tell a story, its like she was reading a script or memorizing an act. No wonder people can do crazy stuff just to gain followers and more subscribers. Of course in this case, ledger would be at fault as she intended. But I support your theory with this one. A scenario like this causes like this turns thing viral. Does the incident been investigated already like if shes really act the time and date, location of the hackers. Any details could help to pinpoint to whats really the prpblem or there is none problem at all but made one for the sake of views.
1173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Suggest Low Cap altcoins for next bull run on: August 18, 2023, 10:25:42 AM
How can Injective and Internet Computer be included in the low cap category? they already have a sizeable market cap and it's going to be difficult to get x2 or x3 of the investment if we do it now.
If you are gonna for short term then pick a much riskier and lower marketcap. But if you aim to have a moderate one with full potential, I think injective can go beyond 5x or more on the bull market. With its 100m supply, this size means nothing. Even bnb have bigger circulating supply and look on its price? When talking about triggering the bull run we wont gonna look for 10k mcap or 100k mcap and goes $1billion mcap suddenly.
1174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrop Events, Testnet Events is not an investment! on: August 18, 2023, 10:09:53 AM
I've participated in several airdrops. And it's great when you get paid even if it's just a few dollars. But since I have to do KYC and the tasks are quite difficult, I think Airdrop is no longer relevant.
And for influencers it is very necessary to educate their followers about what they are promoting. Even need to tell that this testnet is not paid. I think openness is important here.
If you have done sei testnet and linea for sure it will be understand the frustrations on sei community since it takes a lot of time to do the tasks and that took like more than 10 months. Then youll received few $, a lot of my friends did the sei anf completed it. Some of them say, they wont do any hard testnet anymore due to the kind of rewards they did received.
1175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Suggest Low Cap altcoins for next bull run on: August 18, 2023, 08:45:02 AM
Its gonna be a lot of low marketcap potential coins such as injective, chromia, mina, icp, and many more. But if I were you might want to look on strong L1 projects and new L2 such as arbitrum and optimism. We can say that these projects wont do any recovery on bull run. First we should monitor big ones like bitcoin and eth and make sure they pump so alts can follow cause if not theres no possibility of mrga bull run like last time.
1176  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Suggest for newbies investors! on: August 17, 2023, 08:14:38 PM
I think what OP is trying to say when he said "Do not invest early", is to not invest when you barely know anything about cryptocurrency and only proceed when you have done your own research and know what you are doing. I mean, it would explain the second part of his post.
Yes I get it. Even not a newbie wouldnt invest early when he doesnt have idea of the project, the team, concept and sense of legality.  But if someone able yo review all details and its looks good. Dont invest late and just jump on the ship early since the road to gain is much sweetet when you have already invested so early.
1177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrop Events, Testnet Events is not an investment! on: August 17, 2023, 07:54:35 PM
They gave their planned airdrops to testnet but the sad part there was a lot of users were given and almost all received penny amounts. Well its not that they not share what they did plan to do. Its just that too many have participated and you just dissapointed with the value of someone amount did.

Thats life just move on and get shots on other. Its not like every airdrop should be worth $1k above always. Airdrop hunters are frustrated but they also consider that event like this is likely to occur too.
1178  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Suggest for newbies investors! on: August 17, 2023, 06:15:23 PM
Isnt it better to invest early? Most tokens or coins grows in the end. At least for the better projects. If you are gonna invest a bit later you cant maximize the potential profits youll get when that token price soars very high. Not all projects can bloom like bitcoin ethereum and other tokens but we all knew that investing early could be a game changer when the project explode.
1179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Meme Tokens Forge a New Era of Crypto Champions? on: August 17, 2023, 03:18:36 PM
It's a concept where famous meme tokens like DOGE, SHIBA, and other memes come together under one banner with the goal of giving each token unique traits and powers, making them heroes in the crypto world.
Not happening. These projects have their own signature and each and any of them cannot be consolidated by a single project. Maybe in the future, but what for? They become famous on their own and likely that they will make another project that is not tied up with another. This will create hype but Im sure some of the team on each wouldnt agree of course there are greediness or negotiaon that wouldnt be accepted like terms on how much for this project and this. Allocation of tokens also is a burden for that.
1180  Other / Off-topic / Re: ...paid for shitposting? on: August 17, 2023, 02:41:06 PM
3. Is there any difference between shitposting and spamming?
Not a slim difference since shitposting is like a nonsense posts across boards and spamming is literally the same. Example therr is a topic you are engage with and someone answer differently and out of it then its a spam. Isnt that a shitposting already cause he doesnt make any sense on his reply.
