Zelf ben ik geen trader. Ik heb er absoluut geen tijd voor en ik ben ongetwijfeld beter in mijn dagelijkse job dan whatever ik als trader zou presteren. Ik probeer mijzelf wel onophoudelijk op de hoogte te houden van alle huidige en nieuwe projecten en steek nu en dan wat fiat of crypto in projecten waarin ik geloof.
Verder zie ik het vooral als een verlengstuk van mijn spaarpot en ik hoop dat de projecten waarin ik geloof, hun beloftes kunnen waarmaken.

Ik heb een zgn eroshop en verkoop ook non-alcoholische dranken, snoepgoed en snacks. Omdat dit een winkel is van het type waar nooit iemand komt en iedereen over begint te gniffelen heb ik dus ook 3 man personeel en dagelijkse betalingen in bitcoin. Sterker nog ik heb mijn contract met de leverancier van de pinautomaat opgezegd per 1-1 omdat dat ding daar voor niets stond en alleen geld koste. Dat is werkelijk indrukwekkend. Ik hoopte natuurlijk wel dat je geen niche-product aanbood, omdat mainstream-business (ik bedoel pakweg: kruideniers en nachtwinkels, oftewel alles waarover niet gegniffeld wordt) de "man in de straat" zal moeten meesleuren in het crypto-verhaal. Maar dat terzijde. Dat je met je privé-zaak spontaan in het crypto-verhaal meestapt, met het eventuele nodige risico (maar aan het succes te horen, is het risico beperkt), daar doe ik mijn petje voor af. Zelf denk ik dat "we" door de hype zijn mee genomen. Er zijn zoveel munten mensen zien door de bomen het bos niet meer. Hoor ook niemand meer over crypto buiten de mensen die in crypto zitten. Iedereen hoop dat de munten waar ze geld in hebben zitten het gaat worden. De techniek van de blockchain zal blijven en veel veranderen. Wat ik verwacht dat er landen met een eigen munt komen en deze toe staan als alternatief. De rest van de munten zullen ze niet gaan toestaan. Zodat ze toch de controlen houden zoals het nu al is met het papieren geld.
Nouja ik ben ook bang voor die "hype". En tegelijk zie ik dan zo'n (Europees) project als Change Finance - waar ik meer dan een jaar niet meer over heb geschreven omdat ik er al lang niet meer in geloofde - dat gisteren aankondigde dat het officieel VISA-approved is en over een paar weken met crypto-kredietkaarten komt. Dan denk ik: misschien heb ik toch netjes mijn DYOR gerespecteerd en alles correct afgewogen. |
