With Arsenal's performance since the beginning of this season I just have to give it to them that they did a very good job not minding them being 2nd on the log. Since the return of Gabriel Jesus from injury to me I think he has been at the top of his game, he still have that hunger to play and get more goals for the Gunners, it might not be coming as expected but he has been contributing to the Arsenal side.
With Napoli on the mix of getting him (Gabriel Jesus) in replace of V. Osimhen that's if the Nigerian doesn't pens down a new contract and the Gunners are also interested in getting V. Osimhen, is not like Napoli want a swap deal, they just want G. Jesus and is like Arsenal want a swap deal. Like who's this deal going to favor the most? Because as it is, to me Jesus is not really a striker but play him from the wing as a manager he'll deliver but V. Osimhen is just the full package, so to me I think the Gunners will benefit more from this deal that's if it pulls through by January.
1202  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk was down on: October 09, 2023, 06:20:31 AM
I never experienced any of these, is it that it only had to affect some users and didn't to others? I can't still point out why this is really happening, if I'm not mistaken it has happened like 4-5 times this year and is like nothing is being done or is this just something we don't need to panic about?
This topic of Bitcointalk is/was down sometimes scares me, would really like to know if this is just a minor technically issue that users shouldn't be scared of and is like a normal thing that happens each year, I don't get it? But why?

I'm suprised to see that some Manchester United fans are beginning to praise Manchester United after the fine header assist he gave to Scott McTominay to make them win the match against Brentford, Harry Maguire is the most backlashed player in the team, due to his very poor performances and lack of confidence in his previous matches, but he's currently receiving praises by same fans that's been criticising him, well I don't blame the Manchester United fans, because if he had performed better no one would've backlashed but praised him like they're doing currently.

What do you expect from fans who are desperate to see their club win a game? That come back was epic, it made the fans forget who they were backlashing and it didn't matter to them at that point, they don't mind if it was Maguire who scored as long as the goal was given and they don't care who gave the assist if it was one of their reject or not.
To me Maguire was outstanding in that game and I believe that he's one of the best when it comes to area battle in the United squad and with that assist that led to that goal ETH would have a rethink about him and the coach would try to work with him that's Maguire, to build him where he isn't good, even McTommy might see more games as it is.

Quote
Well there's another player that's up for criticism by the fans and that's Casemiro that's caused United to concede in 2 recent matches due to little errors by him, however unlike Maguire, Casemiro's performance have been brilliant since last season and he helped United from conceding defeat last season and is currently the highest in the club this season, however he's declining in form and needs to be rested for a while, fans needs to be calm about his performance and help him recover his confidence instead backlashing and affecting him mentally.

I feel age is catching up with him (Casemiro) and as a club, Manchester United are expecting too much of some certain players in that squad. But the man Casemiro has given all he has to offer and playing him regularly won't make him be at his best, like you currently said he needs to be rested.
Amrabat is their and can fill in the void just to make the Brazilian (Casemiro) get himself back on track, without the coach doing this I don't think the energy he'll bring can be tolerated by the fans.
Today Maguire tomorrow Onana and the next is Casemiro, so I'd prefer ETH do some reshuffling in that team, even Rashford needs to be reshuffled from that start up 11, he has been off color, starting him from the bench is still going to help.
1204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: October 08, 2023, 12:23:48 PM
I watched the game between Burnley vs Chelsea and I saw a  different Cucurella in every game I watch. This guy has been left on the bench for long and him coming back was just something the coach Pochettino shouldn't take for granted.
Cucurella marking speed and recovering speed is just out of this world, he has improved and even better than when he first came to Chelsea.
And I feel he (Cucurella) can't be compared to Chilwell, what I mean is that the Chelsea captain Chilwell is not too good to even bench the former Brighton player Cucurella.
I know Chelsea have been looking for a way to offload some players who doesn't give their best but this guy is just too good to be sold or loan to any club, I really recommend his performance since the beginning of this campaign.
I found Sterling to be more successful in carrying out his duties during the match against Burnley yesterday. His movements appeared quite aggressive and seemed to trouble Burnley's defense.

To be frank with you Sterling is Chelsea's hit man at the moment, without him in some games I believe those chances and goals won't have happened. I loved the way he got out from his shell in the game against West Ham, that was the turning point for Sterling as a Chelsea player.
I remembered what he said that he needed to be more aggressive to be at his best and to me that has been what's keeping him going and doing better.

Quote
This victory seems to be a continuation of Chelsea's turning point, having won several matches prior. Chelsea's performance appears to be stabilizing, and they seem prepared to take on big teams like Tottenham, Arsenal, and Man City.

Easy their bro, Chelsea are getting a win doesn't mean they're ready to take on Tottenham, Arsenal or even the champions Manchester City, these teams are still not in any form of losing  at the moment. You can say Tottenham but not the other two teams who are still trying to make the other teams in the EPL  know that is just them to be at the top.
To me Chelsea are still not match to play those teams mentioned above despite their good performance of recent, you can't use their 2-3 wins to judge if they can get a win against Tottenham, Arsenal or Man City, to me they (Chelsea) are not ready.

1206  Economy / Economics / Re: Women are more economical than men. on: October 08, 2023, 11:24:01 AM
In some cases women can't be more economical because they intend to get everything at ones without thinking of how hard the money comes, only thing they have in mind is bring the money let me spend.
At some point I don't blame it on women who doesn't know how to save, it all boils down to how some are being raised. When it comes to up keeping it turns out to be that is the man who's acting as the woman of the house and the woman is nowhere to be found in the family tree, spending is good but you spend and save too. So we can find this act in both genders not only women who are economical.
1207  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN HALVING COUNTDOWN IS ON – WILL CRYPTO PRICES RISE? on: October 08, 2023, 10:59:44 AM
Bitcoin is a price trigger in the market, when the Bitcoin price automatically increases the price of altcoins, or conversely, when the price drops, the price of altcoins also drops, and the hope for it to rise is the halving day which will occur in early 2024, and hopefully this year's halving day can be like the halving days that have happened before.

To me the expectations about the upcoming halving is just too much with how the movement of Bitcoin price is at the moment, it might be a disappointing halving for traders and investors per say, some of us don't even have any plans for this year's movement of the price as in seeing the positivity that the remainder of this year holds in the market.
It might be that next year can't be productive as expected and it can be one of the worse in the history of Bitcoin halving. But I believe the more we expect less from the upcoming halving the better, just to avoid disappointment.
1208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: October 08, 2023, 10:35:49 AM
After Tottenham defeated Luton yesterday, they moved to the top of the English Premier League table and with that result of yesterday, Manchester, Arsenal and Liverpool are now under pressure to win their games. For Liverpool, if they win their game against Brighton today, they'll move to the second position and will be trailing league leaders Tottenham Hotspur by just one point. Arsenal who play Manchester City today will go joint top of the table with Tottenham with a win while their opponents needs a win to return back to the summit of the table.
It's a very interesting match day in the English Premier League as the title chase between the top four teams in the league this season intensifies

I don't think Tottenham are going to be at the table for long because those teams that are close into making it to be at the top of the table ain't in any pressure. Man City and Arsenal are just the best candidate to top the table till they get back from the international break and this encounter between Arsenal and Manchester City is just going to be a decider (who will top) for this week and I believe is never ending in a draw.
As for Liverpool they're going to find it hard and they're likely to be the team to be under pressure because they (Liverpool) need to be at the top of the table at least for the remainder of the break, so for the Brighton, they will make sure Klopp either share points with them or they take all 3pt because they need to redeem themselves after their poor performance of late.
1209  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: October 07, 2023, 10:36:27 AM
Another week for Tottenham Hotspur to play out another game against Luton who are some how still getting use to the EPL and is going to be another free win for the visitors (Tottenham) that's to their fans and some online stakers but I don't see Tottenham Hotspur winning this game.
Luton might be poor in their performance but I think they're going to take this game like is their last game in the EPL and they don't mind spoiling that unbeaten strict for Spurs today but I can just tip today's encounter between the newly promoted side against Spurs as a draw.
1210  Economy / Speculation / Re: Share your opinion on the market. on: October 07, 2023, 10:22:31 AM
Yes past Historical data are there for reference and not a guarantee of future results,  However, History repeats itself but at some point, it may either rhyme or may not rhyme. we have seen in the past where we have some months that are favorable or not favorable when it comes to the price of Bitcoin, and when we get to such a month in the future we have the same reaction to the price.
I kind of think the month of October will close bullish.

The way the market favors some months in the past might be different this time around, and in the past the worst month might be one of the best month even if you check past historical data, so I won't bank on past events when it comes to the flow of the market price.
The way things are headed it may be that every event in the past might be working the opposite way, let me say August was much favorable in the past and this year's August was pretty bad, something like that, so I'd still go with what the market is bringing not dwelling in the past record or should I say past events.

I don't know if the OP was really scammed and he just wanted to raise an alarm with his new account, please don't get me wrong but has the OP come out to say something about this scam accusation? No. And this is page two but yet no response from our dear OP.
And he has only created one post which is this particular thread we're here talking about him being scammed and if this important to him I believe he would have been here saying something, just saying.
1212  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: October 07, 2023, 03:39:26 AM
Manchester united's game play is very bad. It likes a mediocre team. No doubt if ten hag must be criticized. Ten hag will not aware his mistake if there will be no critics to come toward him. MU odds very good but brentford may also give you surprise like getting draw against united.
This is hard to pick.

These men don't really know where their problems lies and I feel for the man Erik ten Hag because this second season syndrome has caught up with him, and he has already shown it that the team is having a hard to to regroup in as much as they try to back him up.
At this point I believe the pressure is now much on him because the results are not coming and going against Brentford is another difficult challenge for ETH.
I don't see Manchester United getting all 3 point in that encounter because he Bees are also looking for a way to stay in form and they're going to take advantage of Manchester United poor form to go into this game.
1213  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price guess, 2023 on: October 07, 2023, 03:09:57 AM
Currently there is no support level between $30K and $40K, but that doesn't mean this can't happen to Bitcoin at that price level. Because when the Bitcoin price could reach $40K this year, the support level could occur in the $35K range, as has happened between the $30K level and the $25K level this year too. So a support level may appear when a slightly larger price increase begins to occur.

The support may not even come between $30-40k, and it may shock you to see that support come in at $29k. But the market price is really on the right track of getting to that $30k and above but I don't see it getting back to that $25k any time soon and I just hope the price continue to bump to at least $35k and that $40k is going to take a long while for Bitcoin price to get to that amount.
1214  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Up Move Incoming on: October 07, 2023, 03:00:24 AM
It does look like the price wants to go up. We are having a small spike at the moment, the second in the 5 days so far this month. I think it would be about time to go above $30K and stay above it. The pre-halving months there is usually a rise that looks like it wants to reach the ATH but never reaches it, only to come back down and start a proper bull run after halving. Hopefully this is the start of that first move up.

I don't think is yet time for the price to go above $30k and stay rising as the case maybe, in this month it only went up to $28k ones and now we have it at $27k, I feel the market price is not ready to get to $28k yet like is too early.
And I think $28k upward would be coming let's say next week but as for now $27k would be the price the market would give us. But it still doesn't change the fact that $30k is expected before the end of this month and I feel it might happen on the last week of this month, since the market is some how tricky.

How can you say Arsenal are not serious when it's comes to tittle contending, arsenal were the only team who gave Manchester City headache last season Despite the fact that they lost the tittle to them in the last hours.

Let's check it this way, Arsenal are always playing out weak when it comes to battling it out against Manchester City, they're never strong like getting at least a draw even if they can't win get a draw.
You can see the Gunners doing everything right but at the last minute you see them picking the balls from the net, is some how annoying because if you want to be the best you have to beat the best.
Making the Citizens worry not only on the table by getting points from other clubs but going head to head and getting a win against them that's how you worry one of the best in the EPL.
And last season should be recorded as one of Arsenal's disappointing performance in their history, because I see no reason why you would lose what you have been holding for a very long time at the last minute, that's not champions material that's the quality of a team that's not qualified to hold that that title.

Quote
In the premier this season,we have about four teams who are really going to challenge City for the Tittle, Totthenham,Arsenal, Liverpool, and Newcastle are the teams that will fight it out to take that glory from them, but among these teams,I tip Arsenal to win the league this season because they deserve it.

Tottenham Hotspur as a team to compete for the title? Very funny, fine they're doing extremely good this season but I still see them as one disappointing team that doesn't have that winning mentality to always win and win when it matters, they haven't started yet and I'm expecting them to start acting up, as in playing off color, we all know how they are until they give the fans a better sign if not I can't tip them any day.
Let me skip talking much about Liverpool and Newcastle, we know Newcastle are I good for together with Liverpool but one of these two will crack very soon.
As for the Gunners, they can try but how long can they be playing with the strength of one man, talking about Saka?
I hope Arteta have a better plan of playing City without the team and the fans not missing Saka. As it is to me I can't tip Arsenal yet until they make Pep complain throughout the game on Sunday.
1216  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: October 07, 2023, 01:21:25 AM
PSG will be visiting Rennes in their league game after being humiliated by a team that haven't tested champions league football for so many years, talking about Newcastle United.
The home based champions PSG are ready to bounce back to winning ways against the host (Rennes), I believe what happened before the champions league game (playing a draw against Clermont Foot) and after the champions league game  (losing 4-1 to Newcastle) would serve as a lesson to all who thought PSG was going to win base on the bookie but played a disappointing game on both occasions, I hope many would avoid them this week.
What are they going to give us this week? A big win against a tesm that they (PSG) are using just a point to gap on the log?
Well to me that encounter is going to be another game for the SAINTS to struggle to win if not, let's expect a draw because as it is nothing good can come from PSG.
1217  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: October 06, 2023, 10:41:28 PM
Well everyone have their opinion but in my opinion i think City are going to retain the title this season, i still see them as very strong title contenders based on their position currently, though their performance might not be as good as last seasons but City are still the league leaders and i believe we'll see them doing better when their star play Kelvin Debruyne recovers from injury cause it obvious that City are missing him in their squad, especially Haaland who benefited from his assists last season.

Well the competition this season is amongst Manchester City,  Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham, these are the top 4 clubs that have the best performance so far this season and i think it's either city or Arsenal that might win the league.

City might be one of the best in terms of competing for the title but one thing I haven't seen is that I have not seem a season that comes and goes without Manchester City not being in form, they're just good and that's what other club don't have that's why they're better in the league.
Manchester City current position doesn't show if they won't defend their title or not and as it stands the players that ain't in the team are not even showing. Pep Guardiola is a coach that always have back up and he knows how to improvise when things ain't going his way, like the absence of KDB, he got one of the better player Phil Foden to play KDB's part.
As for teams who are likely to win the league or give City another headache I can't for sure mention those two London clubs, Tottenham and Arsenal. They're never serious but let's see how this season will be like for them.
1218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop discouraging Newbies from Bitcoin... on: October 06, 2023, 10:16:51 PM
I have noticed something about some people in this forum...

Why is it that everytime a newbie shows his or her interest in trading Bitcoin, some people will always try to discourage the newbie?  You see them saying things like “Bitcoin trading is not for newbies”

I don't think you getting it right here, ok fine let's say you're correct about what you said, and I'll ask has anyone told you to not engage on Bitcoin in this Forum that is not for you as a newbie? If yes point out the person already.
I feel you getting this newbie stuff all wrong because only if you see Newbie as just a rank you won't be saying what you saying, nobody is stopping you as a newbie by rank from trading and believe me people use newbies in replace of new comers to trading, that's how I see it. And if you think you have all it takes to trade then go ahead, don't let words discourage you.

Quote
None of us here was born a professional trader, fact is that we all had to start from somewhere. We were all once a newbie, until we started learning and putting in the work.

I agree with you, we all have to start from somewhere to get to our destination, and stop using the word Newbie is like you letting yourself down and you can't do anything big.
The newbie you're always saying is only in this Forum that you're a newbie but outside this Forum you're not a newbie so see yourself as someone who can do something bigger, you might have one or two to teach some of those high ranked members in this Forum.

Breaking News!

Paul Pogba has tested positive for doping following today's test and this means his career is over. Paul Pogba will be banned from playing for a long time and of course he will have to accept this consequence because he has used doping. As a football player he must act professionally in dealing with this problem and must also be responsible for what he has done. Currently, Juventus is certainly also considering the next steps to take for Paul Pogba and it is very likely that Juventus will terminate his contract in the near future.

Source: https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1710274757847822640

This is just sad coming a player who has done so much in both club and country, I get why he did what he did. Any one on his shoes that knows and loves to play football won't let injury kill his career, he doesn't want to be on the sidelines for the rest of his playing days.
Looking for a means to be completely free from injury can make such a person go extra miles to get that sorted out, I'm not supporting his actions but I just feel for him, because as it is I don't think Juventus would want to keep him with this act, I feel it is finished for Paul Pogba as a Juventus player, but they might pardon him if care isn't taken, well let's see how it will be like in the coming days.

Today in the evening game between Gladbach at home against Mainz i guess and think that Gladbach has a big chance to win this match.
It would be a surprise that Mainz after there bad playing the last weeks they doing something different and get there first 3 points.
I placed my bet on Gladbach.

The home side have the chances of winning this game but the Mainz team who are still knocking and looking for their first win of this campaign will try their best to see if this game will end in a draw or if they can squeeze out a win which is not possible to me.
With the first half ending in a 1-1 draw I feel in the second half, the home team will come out with a lot of fire power to get more goals and if this game is going to the home side I expect to see 2 more goals from them because they're not going to relax until the away team get the balls from the back of the net.
