Juventus are far behind the league leaders Inter Milan with 12pt difference and to me I'd say this league is far from over. We can't have any team as it is to make Inter Milan drop out in the title, is similar to what Napoli did last season and on Inter path I'd say they can't lose any game till the end of the season only if they have a crucial game in the champions league. Losing a game is never going to happen but if you say Inter can draw like 2-3 games I'd agree but losing the whole 3pt is not possible, they should just give it to Inter because they did very well this season to get that title.

Victory with a narrow goal took Manchester United into the final quarter, but if we talk about the game as a whole in this match, the resulting goal was quite unexpected because it came in the final minutes of the second half. Casemiro was the hero, while Garnacho performance was not so good and I admit that Antony played quite well. Meanwhile Nottingham Forest's defensive performance was quite good and even though they lost they still showed a solid game. Once again, Manchester United was given the opportunity to enter the quarter-finals, but in the future there is no guarantee that they will qualify again.

Casemiro has a time of performing in a way that you just have to rate him 100%, in this game I saw him doing things I never expected unlike some matches when all he does is put his team at risk of getting sent off. I sometimes wonder why ETH still believes that Garnacho can do better in every game he plays, ETH better start looking for a new winger who can at least commit oppositions and get penalties or better still get the ball in the 18 yard box. This guy need to sit on the bench for long just to learn one or two so that he can perform very well when next he starts a game.
Manchester United are through to the next round but I can't say their performance was outstanding and Nottingham Forest could have done better than they did in that FA Cup encounter. A narrow win and a lucky win for UTD and their next opponent wouldn't be as easy as the Nottingham Forest side, judging from their (Man UTD) performance I'd say they can't get past their next opponent to the next round.

The world talks about this derby but is not as it used to be back in those days when you see the seriousness of both teams, no one wants to give up on the struggle, the challenge for who's better was there but now we see things that doesn't excite the fans.
Like I said before is a one sided game and Manchester United don't even have the quality of players that can march Man City in this derby, to me Manchester City have everything to get hold of that 3 point, starting from the goalkeeper to the attackers they're all good and you look at Man UTD, all you see are players who are just there to make names for themselves. Some players in Manchester United don't have what it takes to be wearing that UTD jersey, when its time for this game we're all going to see Man City running down the players of Manchester United.

Well, what you are talking about is theoretically based. however, in football there is no definite formula for knowing which team will win and play well or not, even though it is filled with talented players on all fronts. but we agree that after all City has a very high probability in this United derby match. moreover, if I refer to it based on various variables, City is far superior in the next match apart from playing at the Etihad Stadium. the point is, for me it doesn't mean that Erik Ten Hag's squad doesn't have a chance to provide resistance. But more importantly, United will not field their full starting eleven in the next match. Based on several references I got, Luke Shaw, Lisandro Martinez, Hojlund, and several other players are likely to be absent from this United derby match. So it's natural that City is much more favourite. Moreover, if I refer to bookies, Manchester City's odds are very low compared to Manchester United.

Well, it's not certain that what you say will happen, it could be that United, on the other hand, wins points at the Etihad Stadium. I am absolutely sure that Pep is very aware that Erik Ten Hag's squad's counter-attack system is quite dangerous. The point is, City will not underestimate United even though the team opposing City is not supported by some of their core players. I'm very sure that Ten Hag is aware of the team he is opposing. Maybe the Red Devil coach will only target a draw, regardless of whether they have the opportunity to break into City's goal. well, just look at how this match turned out. As a neutral fan, I hope United can provide exciting resistance in this United derby match.

The Manchester derby is a bragging right and in as much as we all know that Manchester United have several players who are injured it still doesn't change the fact that Manchester City will dominate the game from the beginning to the end. Let's say UTD squad are complete without injuries it would be a pleasure for Pep Guardiola's boys to humiliate Manchester United, is like shutting them up and beating them home and away. What we all need to know is that it has already been official that ETH can't make Rashford and the other guys to be a force to stop City.
No doubt, Man UTD can get a point but the percentage of Manchester United to get at least a point is just 25% if not less. One thing we have to know about Pep is that this game is something he can't afford to lose and ETH men can't apply that counter attack you talking about, a team that hardly plays as a unit can't go toe to toe against the Citizens.

Derby matches are always interesting regardless of who wins the match. So far we probably already know who is the favorite in derby matches, especially in the last few seasons. Manchester City can almost always win matches against Manchester United where they have recorded 6 wins and 1 draw in the last 10 matches in all competitions.

In the last 5 meetings in the Premier League, Manchester City won 4 matches and lost 1. Therefore, I don't think Manchester United will get a win in this derby match because the performance of both teams is completely different.

2023-2024 season.
- Manchester United vs Manchester City 0-3

2022-2023 season.
- Manchester United vs Manchester City 2-1
- Manchester City vs Manchester United 6-3

2021-2022 season.
- Manchester United vs Manchester City 0-2
- Manchester City vs Manchester United 4-1

The Manchester derby is one of the most important derbies in the Premier League. Every year the world talks about whether Manchester will be blue or red. In fact, it's not only a Manchester derby, it's also a world derby.

Looking at the statistics, we see that Manchester City have dominated this rivalry in recent years. Manchester City have won 5 titles in the Premier League in the last 6 seasons and they are the strong favorites for the title this season. Derby matches are always open to surprise results but I think they are the favorites in this match.

The world talks about this derby but is not as it used to be back in those days when you see the seriousness of both teams, no one wants to give up on the struggle, the challenge for who's better was there but now we see things that doesn't excite the fans.

Sassuolo vs Napoli today's match will start in a very short time. Today's match is very likely for Napoli team to win but Sassuolo team did not play very well in the previous matches, it is to be seen how they will play in today's match. Sassuolo team has not won any match in last 5 matches.  Lost 4 matches and drew 1 match.

Sassuolo has never been a better side since the beginning of this campaign and with Napoli who are struggling to get that form of last season is another thing consider in this encounter. Is like both teams have the same strength even if we have the bookies giving Napoli the upper hands I still see them as average teams in this encounter.
The home side have been finding it hard to get at least 3point in their last 5 games, today's game might give them a very strong spirit to battle Napoli.
The away team won their last game but I'm not sure if they can do the same to Sassuolo because I feel they always struggle to get a win while playing away from home, that desperation will cause them in this encounter, we should look out for the home team doing more damage to the visitors.
286  Economy / Economics / Re: If being a graduate is the key to being wealthy, why are there poor graduates? on: February 27, 2024, 06:18:19 PM
I'd say is not everyone who's suppose to be successful in life, you can go to school and end up being unsuccessful but those who never had the opportunity to go to school can be successful in what ever they put their hands. In some parts of the world, you see a graduate struggling to get something that suits what he or she studied in school and they won't get it but those non-graduates are the ones occupying those higher positions.
Life is never the way we picture it, you can see a graduate that has a better business but there's no progress in it while someone who hasn't been to school is progressing in that same business, to me I'd say is just grace or should I say luck, you're a graduate doesn't mean anything you do would make you successful, not all graduate are suppose to make it in life which means school is not for everyone.
Going to school or having a higher education does not guarantee success, but their percentage of being able to get a job is much greater, but this cannot be the same for everyone, everyone has different opportunities and different times.
So whether success or not doesn't depend on anything, it all comes down to each person's chance and luck.

That's where some people seem to get it wrong, they think by having that opportunity of being a graduate that everything will be better in future. I agree with you that everyone doesn't have the same opportunity and it all depends on luck honestly speaking, people always let it get into the their head that after school the next thing is getting a job in a bigger firm and some don't have what it takes like they can't contribute to their place of work.
287  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC above $53k on: February 27, 2024, 12:23:46 PM
It only seems like a surprise to me with how $52k has been the highest since Bitcoin price reach $50k, I was only seeing the price to be at that amount till the end of this month but it seems to be in another level, like in a positive way. From how it has been since the beginning of this week which is definitely the last week of February, it seems like we might be hitting $60-65k any time soon.
Yesterday just gave us another positive movement to show how this month is going to end and I hope it won't be that stagnant like last week, since the approval of ETF things has been a little bit lite, so from first week of March $70k might be on the way without any barrier or obstacle, I hope.

Derby matches always have their importance and as a Liverpool fan, we will always want Man U to be dominant from starting and put some pressure on Pep players. You do not disagree with the Man City team their potential and their skills and as a football enthusiast, you must say the game should be at its best no matter who wins and who loses.

For me this derby lost it's quality and importance about 4 seasons ago, is no longer interesting as it used to be where we see both teams struggling to get that dominance, you see that pride on the faces of both teams, this time we see a one sided play with Manchester City dominating the game from the kick off till full time, is not fun to always watch except for those who only want to see Man UTD lose again.
Well, this encounter has so much at stake with Liverpool and Arsenal waiting to see the unexpected to happen like City dropping point to reduce the pressure or maybe remove the Citizens from the title race.
To me Manchester United are not capable of getting the job done for Liverpool and Arsenal because they (United) have not gotten their house in order and this game won't be an easy one, we just have to see another humiliation if they (Manchester United) don't play as a unit.
290  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: February 26, 2024, 04:34:08 PM
David Moyes has gone with a 3 straight games without getting a goal in the EPL and tonight they're facing the Bees who are currently looking for a win after their loss against Liverpool and Manchester City, would they still lose against a team who find it hard to get a goal or are they going to get all 3pts. West Ham have the best players to make sure they are in the winning line with other EPL teams but is like Moyes has lost that spark of brilliance.
Tonight's game would be another challenging game for Moyes and his job might be on the line, they haven't been consistent in the last 3 games and is something every opponent would want to capitalize on. For West Ham to get a win in tonight's game is best they start taking advantage of any opportunity they have in that encounter. Both teams are just the same in terms of performance but I'd take Brentford to be the favorite if I'm to choose.

when the two meet, I can say both have almost the same strength. In the last meeting when Brentford played at home, they managed to win 3-2. now that Wet Ham will be playing at home, the situation may not be much different. Maybe betting on Brentford is good, but the risk of losing is still quite high.
perhaps betting on both teams to score is the best option.

I'd say the both teams are never to rely on in terms on who to win but with what you said about both team to score I feel that's the only safe option but if you'd want to go for a higher risk I'd say away team to win. On this encounter Brentford would have more of the attack and even more ball possession with the home team doing more of the defending, for the Hammers to help Moyes out in this game I feel a draw would be something to keep his job alive at least for now.

292  Economy / Speculation / Re: 60k possible before end of this month? on: February 26, 2024, 08:38:27 AM
From the look out of things there is no doubt that $60k is sure before the end of this month February reason being that bitcoin has surpasses the price of 50k and headed to $52k if I am not mistakenly and you can correct me if I am wrong.
Also does this proves the idea of most people saying that bitcoin could hit half a million dollars after the halving by 2025, does this sign proves it right?

Let us discuss.

I don't see $60k anytime soon due to how poor the market movement have been in past few weeks since after hitting $50k. It has been from $50-52k and it doesn't look like it will even get to $55k before the end of this month and I feel that this month has given us what it can, who knows by next month we might see a rapid raise of Bitcoin price but not in this February ending.

For me, the market is doing very well in the past weeks but it's not as bad as you think. Although bitcoin has not had a breakout in February, it remains in the 49k-52k area and with it bitcoin dominance is trending downward. That means it is giving way to altcoins and you can also see that after ETH crossed $3k many altcoins are doing well again. The market is still very stable for people to seek profits, but money flows continuously move into different ecosystems. So people with knowledge and experience will make a lot of profit during this time.

As for bitcoin, I think there will be no breakout this February, but before the halving, bitcoin will have some good growth and there will be a post-halving correction.

Honestly I never expected the market to be this slow in terms of movement but I'd say is not that ok to me in the sense that we have been on this same amount $50-52k for the last 2-3 weeks and with how it has being moving in the last 4-5 months,  to me is like it will never get past $52k till the end of this month unless February has never been a positive month in Bitcoin history or records.
I'd agree with you that many users are making profit with how the price of Bitcoin is at the moment and coupled with the fact that things are back to normal I feel business has come back to that productive state but it would be better if the price continue to hit forward till we get past $52k to $60k.

Sevilla kept the score for a long time and were close to getting the point they wanted, but Modric spoiled their plans. Modric is playing great even at that age, he's a fine wine. I don't know if he will retire at the end of the season, but I'm lucky to have been able to watch him throughout his career. Real Madrid won despite missing so many players including Bellingham, Joselu and Carvajal, which is a good signal. They want to make no mistakes on their way to the championship.

Honestly I was jumping for joy when the game was still goalless just because I want the Girona to close in the gap and maybe top the league again but like you said Modric came and spoilt the party. I believe Madrid can never have such a fine player like Modric and for someone like him every coach would want to keep him till he gets tired of playing. About Modric retiring I feel this will be his last season for the club and some speculation went about him staying as one of the coaching staff, don't know how true that is but it will be nice to have him their since Madrid are now filled up with young lads.
Madrid are never the Madrid we used to know, these days they struggle against smaller opponent even in the UCL they find it hard to get the job done. I think they're missing that number 9 in their squad, the absence of Benzema is really choking them and if things are not done properly I see them losing this chance of being champions of la Liga.

The Blues handed the Carabao Cup to Liverpool for the second time and they just showed us that they (Chelsea) haven't learned anything in their first encounter 2 seasons ago, even though the guys who played Liverpool yesterday wasn't the same who did 2 seasons back it still ended the same way. Was hoping for the Blues to at least hang in to this title even if that's the only trophy they'll ever win in many years to come but Pochettino and his clowns couldn't keep it together.
The game was going pretty well for the Chelsea side not until Pochettino decided to kill the game by removing Sterling and Jackson, like what on earth is Pochettino thinking in the first place? As a coach that's playing against a team that half of the first team are all injured and you're keeping your best to do what? I was expecting every good player who knows how to run and give good crosses to be at the starting eleven for Chelsea, Nkunku should never had been on the bench. Bad luck is bad luck and this is something Pochettino had to live with, to me Chelsea can never be better until they pick out their problems and solve them bit by bit
Liverpool played like a wounded lion and at the end of it all they got their manager that trophy that he's going to depart the club with. Coming to the EPL title race, I don't see Liverpool finishing 2nd because of these injuries on the squad and it will cause them some games to stay on top of the log.

Dortmund are never going to change, always full of disappointment or for ones even act like one of those teams challenging for the title, losing 1nil in less than 10mins is just disappointing. They (Dortmund) have the squad, good players and they still find it difficult to perform or live up to expectation, who would have believed that Leverkusen will be the nightmare of Bayern Munich this season? Nobody, I have this feeling that Dortmund won't touch or get close to the Bundesliga title in the next 3-4 seasons if care is not taken and going about this game against Hoffenheim they might lose it too but let's see what the remaining part of the game would produce.
299  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: February 25, 2024, 03:31:12 AM
Close win for Bayern today but Tuchel said he will de a professional job until the end and it looks like he will. However, his team needs to lift the game as well if they want to keep that 2nd place or if they want to beat Lazio in the next game in UCL , because if none of this happens , this will be a complete failure season for Bayern and personally I can't blame only Tuchel...

Close win indeed but how long are they going to be having this kind of winning? This is unlike the Bayern Munich we knew, is like what's happening to Manchester City in the EPL, both teams are good but now they struggle.
Bayern are very lucky to have that 2nd goal to put them ahead in that encounter against RB Leipzig, how I wish the visitors was that good to add enough pressure on the Barbarians they would have won that game. Every game Bayern Munich play, they are under pressure and I don't see them going out to play Lazio without being under pressure and if the Italian side noticed that in the game I don't see Bayern Munich scaling through to the next round in the UCL.
Bayer Leverkusen have gotten what they have been look for which is to see Bayern Munich in a very desperate situation to get 3 point, with this I don't see the title going back to Bayern and it won't be like last season when Dortmund gave the title to Bayern Munich, the title has already changed hands this very campaign all thanks to Xabi Alonso and Bayer Leverkusen.
300  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What is the benefit of taking hard drugs on: February 25, 2024, 03:10:20 AM
I was going through some articles and comments on twitter and this question struck me so I decided to bring it up here .
There are some drugs that are quite medicinal and has serious effects on human beings especially when misused or abused . But the idea of people taking high level of hard drugs is what I can’t place my thought on because it makes feel that everything is not normal on them .

However, people go to grave yards to exhume the bones of dead bodies just to collect their bones grind it and smoke it , some will also go to the length of breaking sucker pit just to inhale the substances there for a reason I don’t know . So please I now ask again, is there any benefit of taking hard drugs ?

Some of this drugs we see in the clinic and pharmacy as the case maybe are never labelled as drugs we shouldn't take, they're all good drugs which have a specific purpose why they are made. Now some of we humans have this crazy idea that if we take more than what is prescribed by the doctor that it will work fast than usual, let's take the case of a drug called Tramadol, that drug is for pains but some take like 5 of it just to be active (according to them, it makes them strong), when it starts messing with their head they see it as being in another level and it gives them that calmness and joy that they're high and nothing can hurt them (to me that's the negative effect speaking).
Our body systems are different so a doctor can say take two tablets and the pains or what ever will go away but if two tablets doesn't get the job done then he might say go for a higher drugs to help.
In the case of those who feel taking overdose is the best are those who their heads are already messed up, things that irritate people are what they love doing like the sewage hole all in the name of being high, drug abuse doesn't give meaning to anyone, no positive side of it and never has it given benefits to anybody.
