261  Economy / Reputation / Re: Merit Abuse / Account farm on: March 04, 2024, 02:10:29 AM
Yeah, that is curious indeed.  It could also be that OP is fishing for merits himself.

Either way, although cases of merit abuse don't really need to have threads devoted to them since DT members probably won't take any action, I am going to start putting members like the ones reported here on PM-ignore so that they can't request post history reviews from me.  If I didn't do that, there's no way I'd remember their usernames and the details and whatnot.

OP, I appreciate you starting this thread and for the watchful eyes.  I'm going to refrain from giving you merit simply because of that tiny bit of suspicion/paranoia I mentioned above, but if you continue to post from this account (and your posts are any good), feel free to hit me up for a review.

Sometimes when sure a thing happens (reporting an account of merit abuse) it might be because of anger or some personal issues between the OP and the tagged users as the case may be. Ok take a look at the OP whom I think opened a new account just to report someone he might be having a problem with and he chose to open a new thread, not minding if we have such thread.
This OP new account is for reporting those who offended him and he doesn't want to use his main account, who knows if he hasn't used it to reply this thread, and I agree with you that the OP is trying to fish for merit, after the OP doesn't get what he wants I feel we might not see or hear from this account on the Forum again.
262  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Closing in on 60k, Again! on: March 04, 2024, 01:54:43 AM
Bitcoin price has gotten to that amount some of us have been expecting and even above the $60k but is like it has a way of making a big move and no one has any specific time for it to get past the current amount. At some point it seems like $50-53k would have been the amount we'd see in this month of March, since this month is still fresh I feel the market price won't move too fast to maybe $65k on this very first week but $75k I'd say is some how possible before the end of this month.

Bitcoin Hits $75K Before March Ends? Meaning you predict history will not repeat itself and we will have new history when bitcoin reaches a new ATH before the halving occurs? I saw many predictions about this after bitcoin suddenly hit $64k at the end of February, and I also agree with you that bitcoin is quite capable of reaching its ATH this month. But the 75k$ target is a pretty high target for me, I think bitcoin will probably hit 70k or 71k$ and will pullback immediately after the halving takes place. I still think that by Q4 2024 we will really see the crazy price increase in bitcoin and the 6-digit targets we predicted.

I believe that the movement of Bitcoin price is some how waiting for the right moment to make a drastic move to get to that $75k, this month is very much promising more than last month because the way last month ended is like it gave this month the barton to make that fast move. Since we have the halving at hand I feel that target of hitting $75k is possible and when it's time we can be seeing Bitcoin price $200k+ during the halving period if care is not taken.

I don't think it will happen but I hope your prediction will be correct, we will break history and create a bull cycle before the halving. But I agree with you about the ATH of this bull season, 200k USD or more is completely possible and far beyond everyone's expectations. To me this is a super cycle and not a typical bull season where we have ETFs, the Fed lowers interest rates and the economy enters a new cycle. Personally, I am very hopeful about this cycle, and it will be an opportunity for those like me who missed out on bitcoin in the past.

I would like to see that history to be broken and with the current movement of Bitcoin price I feel it can be achieved before the halving, I think this $200k is something no one is thinking will happen and it must definitely come to pass. This year's halving amount would be far higher than the previous one from how Bitcoin price rises and I think this week is giving us a new figure other than that which we have seen.

Liverpool got a 1nil win against Nottingham Forest who are filled with surprises and I think we're going to see Liverpool on the struggling side just to keep on staying at the top, so how Klopp is trying not to be under pressure but the injuries from the 1st eleven and how they do recover doesn't tell if they're going to be that fearless leader. I'd say they (Liverpool) were lucky to manage a narrow win against the Forrest team and Klopp shouldn't be too comfortable with it because the next game might not go their way, a 90+mins win doesn't show a wonderful performance to me but the 3pts is very much important.
A good result for the Reds indeed, but their performance against a Nottingham Forest team as they were not be able to score goals early in the match. The additional time favored Liverpool side as they were able to get their last chance converted. This injuries is actually Liverpool’s performance lately because if this match was against a big team like Man United or City, Liverpool might lose the match due to lack of goal scoring ability.

Kudos to Liverpool players, they were able to maintain and keep pressing till they get their goal, and for Klopp, this win is a good one for him as he maintain his league position because their next match will be against Manchester City which we know that it will not be easy for both of them.

Liverpool score a single goal in a game in a very long while and things really fell in place for the reds and this is the first time since they haven't conceded a goal and also since they haven't scored a goal to almost the end of the game in this very season (correct me if I'm wrong), and it almost caused them in dropping point.
Indeed this game favored them thanks to Nunez who quickly returned from injury, at some point I was saying the game has nothing positive to produce since it got to 90'mins plus but that goal was surprisingly in for Liverpool, Man City and Arsenal pressure would have reduced a bit and if it were City I think they would get that goal before 90'mins but if it was Arsenal it would have ended in a goalless draw for the Gunners I think, so let's see how UTD can march City today.
Nottingham showed great defending. Nottingham goalkeeper Sels tried very well, especially in the extra time, but he could not prevent Nunez's goal, so Liverpool won the 3 points. While they were having a great season, losing points in this match could put them in big trouble. Salah's absence was felt in the match.

Honestly the Nottingham Forest side was just too good in defending in that game and this win Liverpool got is just like a life line to Klopp to stay at the top and he is going to make sure it continues no matter the absence of some key players.
Nunez is just the right man for the job and he stepped up to get that needed 3pts and I don't think they really missed Salah in that encounter because it wasn't felt to me, I think is high time Liverpool start playing without Salah with or without an injury, let that change come for the Liverpool players to get used to it.
264  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 04, 2024, 01:26:54 AM
FC Koln are hosting the league leaders Bayer Leverkusen later today and the visitors are having a lost of confidence in going into this game without minding what their opponent have in store for them. The game second place Bayern Munich drew is a great joy for Alonso and his boys because by get all 3pt in this game against Koln who is 16th on the log would extend the league gap the more and they (Bayern Leverkusen) can feel it coming.
So for now 7pt it is but a win would make it 10pt and that's enough to say Bayern can't get hold of them, if today's game go as planned (winning the match) then I believe that Alonso will start resting some key players in the next game, as it is Bayern Munich are in a poor form to catch up and I'd say is a big win for Bayer Leverkusen today.
A very difficult match for Koln as they will host the unbeaten team to date, Leverkusen. Although they will be playing at their home ground, we all know what kind of strength Leverkusen has under Xabi Alonso this season. They are very good on all fronts, from the back, center, to the front they show teamwork that makes it difficult for their opponents when dealing with them.
I think Koln will focus more on defense, they will do their best to hold Leverkusen to a draw. For me a draw is also a good result for them considering the opponent is very strong.

That encounter is just for the strongest and Bayer Leverkusen have proven that they're the best in the Bundesliga and they have surpass Bayern Munich. Alonso have done a great job by keeping Bayer Leverkusen where they are now and we all know that the changes in the Bundesliga are coming. They did a pretty good job against Koln and not even dropping point for a draw as you said and the defense of the home side wasn't strong to hold the visitors off.
At this point I feel Bayern Munich can't stop Bayer Leverkusen either from winning the league title and I feel Leverkusen will channel most of their focus on the Europe Champions League, if they could get that too because I don't think is a bad idea if Alonso get hold of two trophies this season and I wish it happens.
265  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: March 04, 2024, 12:50:32 AM
Girona don't have much to struggle for this season on like Madrid who have the champions league and I don't think we can say the game they have in the UCL is what made them lose but lack of consistency and they're gradually losing that wonderful performance of late. I think if they want to get hold of both titles (UCL and La Liga) they (Madrid) should take every game serious.
Girona have it at their palm to make things right and it would be a disappoinment if they draw or lose this game against Mallorca and it should always be a win for Girona that if they want to always pressure Madrid for the title and I also believe Madrid will slip if they continue with this poor form.
Real Madrid in unstable form this season, they becomes very promising in previous matches but each time they're tagging close to winning the La Liga title, a special moment they actually dropped points against mediocre teams. Carlo Ancelotti is dissapointed but he's not disturbing because there’s more work to do. Real Madrid always dropped points against mediocre teams because this was the opportunity to create more points difference, its a big stands. Real Madrid failed to win Valencia because there's a force that comes with the struggle.

I don't think there's much work to be done in this Madrid team because if they think this is the right way of winning the league every season then they need to change that mindset, other teams are trying as much as they can to surpass them in every way and they think dropping points and having a poor performance is the best way.
Well anything that happens is on Girona for not closing the gap instead they went on losing and to me is just disappointing and thats how Real Madrid have the advantage because of that loss, if it were Barcelona when they're in their prime I feel they would have turned things around but for now is Madrid all the way despite their poor performance.
266  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: March 03, 2024, 05:14:31 AM
This condition should be utilized by Girona to win. Their only opponent is Mallorca. If they can win of course they will cut the distance of points. If Girona wins their distance is only 4 points. That will further open up opportunities to keep competing in the championship race. Real Madrid made another mistake with a draw against Valencia. Although in fact the match seemed Real was disadvantaged by the referee. Their mistake was too late for the heat. They failed to take advantage of the moment of normal time, it must be fixed immediately Real Madrid in the rest of this match.

268  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Coping with expectations on: March 03, 2024, 04:47:50 AM
They say that expectation is the seed of disappointment. That’s why you really shouldn’t expect anything from anyone. You’ll be better off if you always prepare for the worst so you can handle anything. Like the old saying goes… The bird on a branch doesn’t trust the tree branch won’t break, it trusts that it’s wings will keep it from hitting the ground.

Not everybody see it that way, getting that results the way they want it is what they care about the most, your feelings the stress you pass through is like your doing things fine to them and you have no right to be depressed.
And I feel we have less people who can over look such act and less of those who can develop thick skin, some expectations can help a person positively but it all depends on how they go about it.
Imagine a person who's managing a business and he's thinking that things would be fine in no time and he's doing poorly, there's a way the next person would say "my expectation for you is to never give up like a some people, continue having that hope that the good times are coming" with that been said I believe it wouldn't kill that person's mindset rather it will boost it, that's how it should be.
269  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are children born out of wedlock is still a blessing from God? on: March 03, 2024, 04:32:52 AM
No children are born out of wedlock; we simply did not intend to have children, especially if things were not going well for us. God does not discriminate based on our relationship status; everything happens for a reason, good or bad, as long as it is from God. Children are always blessings to us in some way.

I agree with you on your saying because some parents or should I say many people say it like having a child/children before marriage is an abomination or a cures. God who gave the child knows more than we all humans but people just take that word WEDLOCK in a different way, I don't get it, God give children and bless that which he has created and we humans come about it by discriminating it and speak ill about Gods' creation, that alone should be a punishment for those who don't accept what God has done the way it is.
The way I see it, those who don't take the child as God own creation are the ones who have sinned but they don't know, after all God works in a wonderful and mysterious ways.

Before I go fit approve of joint business na when una don know each other or get the same target to achieve, plus say the amount wey una wan take start the business no be small amount. Companies wey dey do joint business no be small money Dem take dey start am, or else na farming you wan do, and we all know the wey herdsman dey carry their cattles dey go kill people farm plants. So inside farming sef you fit go loss make you no even see half of the money wey una take start sef. Especially now wey the price of things don increase which kind business wey 5 person go do with that kind amount?

My broda to even know each other self no be the safest option when don reach to open business with someone, becos person wey care but am for mind say him cheat you, nobody dey safe this matter.
This matter about herdsman nah one factor to kill that joint business so I go say make we just pray to God to see person we go share that idea with us on business wey no go involve such damage as the herdsmen matter and wey go provide profit instead of loss.

That's where some people seem to get it wrong, they think by having that opportunity of being a graduate that everything will be better in future. I agree with you that everyone doesn't have the same opportunity and it all depends on luck honestly speaking, people always let it get into the their head that after school the next thing is getting a job in a bigger firm and some don't have what it takes like they can't contribute to their place of work.
It wouldn't be instantly better that's for sure, but it's a lot better than being some random bum out there who doesn't know jack. At least, said education can open up a few opportunities for you, especially with the lot of short courses that most people can get nowadays.

Things these days have a different way of making things seem that way of being educated and getting job opportunities but I don't really go with that because I can still say it that those who finished their education and still wonder around seeking for job opportunity and the job also change hands to be for those who don't see it as importance to go to school, is just upside down and with that short courses it still doesn't help in anyway.

Valencia are taking the lead over Real Madrid and I'm sure most of the real fans didn't see this coming ESPECIALLY now that Jude Bellingham is in the game. For a club who need the three points, they seem relaxed to me and even though Valencia can be a pain in the neck, I least expected Los Blancos to loose their guard this early. I just hope they get their acts right and turn the game in their favor else if it ends this way, the point gap between them and Girona will reduce to five points and honestly now is not the time to take chances.

Is just a pure evidence that Real Madrid are losing that touch of brilliance and they can't always be at the top dog in that league, Valencia are not even good in terms of performance this season but you see this game I'm still not ok to say they (Valencia) are going to win or can hold that winning till the end and I won't want to see the visitors come back to level the game and some how win the game, I just hope it end this way in favor of Valencia.
276  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: March 02, 2024, 08:03:38 AM
Friday games are usually dangerous and we saw that today. Everyone expected Monaco and PSG to score, but neither team scored. 28 shots and no goals is an interesting statistic. It wasn't good for PSG that Asensio left the game in the first half and Mbappe at half time. PSG thought about the Real Sociedad game and a draw was enough as they were in a comfortable position in the league. We can't blame Luis Enrique for that. After all, a 0-0 draw is not a bad result away to Monaco. Their undefeated streak continued.

Monaco made a mistake by letting this game to end in a draw, it would have been a game they're suppose to make sure it ended with a win to secure all 3 point knowing that PSG are preparing for the Real Sociedad game in the champions league. At least that streak would have ended last night but that chance was blown away and the visitors was more comfortable with that draw and that's to show that PSG are unstoppable, no one can stop them from lifting the trophy this season so what all the other clubs need to do is put an end to that undefeated streak.
277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: March 01, 2024, 08:50:46 PM
In Ligue1, PSG is quite safe with a distance of 11 points from second place for now because that big a distance will certainly not be easy for PSG's rival team to overcome. So it is quite clear in this case that if PSG lost at home to Monaco in today's match, it would certainly not have any effect on PSG because their position would still remain the same. Meanwhile, for the match at home to Real Sociedad in the Champions League, you have to think about it now or after today's match is finished in order to enter the last eight in the Champions League.

I don't know what PSG have to lose in this game because is like they're likely to lose and it won't bring them down or level up with the team at second position. Monaco are the ones who have something to play for which is to remain in the top 4. And it itches me when PSG are always the champions of Ligue 1 and they fail to perform in the UCL.
Their next game in the champions league is more important than this ongoing match against Monaco and it would be a shame if the home side (Monaco) don't take advantage of this opportunity.

I think Chelsea have an internal problem that nobody is talking about, with better players to make the team stronger than they could ever imagine and the coach Pochettino won't have to be in the losing side week by week. During the short time Tuchel was handling the team before he got fired, the Blues got so many players that even some coaches in the EPL saw them as unstoppable that's with those signings, true they would have been but the next thing Tuchel got fired and we started hearing about half of those signings were all injured even up till now.
Nkunku that everybody thought would be the saviour is now injured for the third time, correct me if I'm wrong.
It bothers me to ask if the medical staff of C.F.C are capable enough or are there no medical team in that club since the take over? Players get injured immediately after they come back and I believe Chelsea have players who haven't played up to 3 matches this season due to injury, are the owners fine with what's happening to the team? When we had the J. Terry, Drogba, Lampard and the rest of them, we hardly get something like this (where almost half of the squad would be injured) and I believe Chelsea would have been better if some of these injured players are available, is Chelsea's medical staff incapable or what?

Can you also be detailed with what problems owned by chelsea? This club keeps show horrible performance and the fans are also feeling so upset with chelsea. It feels it's not worth to waste a lot of our time to see a mediocre club like this. Mostly members here have intensively talked about chelsea and its problem/
There are some problems that must be solved by chelsea.

1, Onner
2. Coach
3. Players

The management even couting team were not good enough in contributing to the club. The question of how long it will take for Chelsea to tackle and resolve all the existing problems within the club is still lingering in my mind. Pochettino does nothing to fix it all.
He keeps make stupid decision during the game which was making chelsea cost a lot.

The match against liverpool had proven how the subs from poch were able destroying his own club. Sending out some important players turned out to be the biggest mistake that was made by pochettino against liverpool.  Chelsea fans are demanding justice from the club caused by they have right to see their favorite clubs to win the trophy this season.
It's a hard job owned by pochettino to help chelsea ing etting FA cup this season while there are so many strong clubs played in this competition.

How long poch will able to learn from his past mistake?

With all those problems mentioned I think the medical team are some how responsible for the injuries affecting the players, let's take a look at some clubs how fast the players recover and joining the squad but if Chelsea solve those 3 problems without the medical staff I feel they'll still have more injured players.
The Liverpool game some how shows how bad Pochettino is in handling a club such as Chelsea, is the finals for crying out loud, he doesn't have a plan B and nobody to rely on when they're doing pretty poor on the field, player like Nkunku is on the pitch but nowhere to be found.
Was thinking that game would have given him (Pochettino) his first trophy for the manager but he killed it with his hands. Chelsea is among the deadliest clubs in EPL but they haven't gotten that winning mentality yet to boost their spirit.

Terry, Drogba, Lampard and the rest of them, we hardly get something like this (where almost half of the squad would be injured) and I believe Chelsea would have been better if some of these injured players are available, is Chelsea's medical staff incapable or what?
